It's important to know that the only interaction I had with this clinic was over the phone. This being said I still think it's important that I share my experience. The person I talked to- I presume it was the vet considering his bold statements- interrupted me before I could finish explaining that my dog was loosely diagnosed with cancer and she needed her abdomen drained again  to tell me that I'm letting my dog suffer and that I should just "let her go." It seemed pretty unprofessional to give an already  grieving pet owner that kind of "advise" over the phone, without seeing her, without letting me finish speaking. What I was unable to explain to because he cut me off was that we're waiting on a test to confirm the diagnosis and until I know for sure that there's nothing that can be done. Once I began raising my voice at the man he heard the whole situation, but still persisted to tell me that I should put her down because of the reoccurring fluid.  She still eats and drinks eagerly,  tugs at the leash when we walk, and smiles at me so I told him until I have a solid diagnosis I will do no Such thing. I simply wanted to get her drained so shes as comfortable as possible while we travel home to see our regular vet and wait for the test results. I appreciate A no  nonsense vet, but considering every other vet I talked to  (literally 13 different vets today) had said this is the best thing I could do for her under the circumstances, I'm pretty horrified at this man's behavior as was the vets I shared it with. To ice the cake he wouldn't give me an estimate on draining fluid without seeing her, BUT HE WOULD SUGGEST PUTTING HER DOWN OVER THE PHONE? I cried for an hour After our conversation because I was so shaken up. I just hope this saves someone else pain in an already painful situation. Read Less
