Prices are not affordable. He insists on doing $250 bloodwork with almost every visit. Dr Suresh seems to have a genuine dislike of animals. He's very difficult to deal with and the services he does perform (like x-ray) are done with a staggering level of incompetence. We brought our rottweiler in to have her hip x-rayed and she fell off the table during the procedure.
Currently my dog is palliative with terminal cancer. The simple act of purchasing medication from this vet is far more stressful than it needs to be. He's double charged us for some of her medication, short changed us for some of her medication and didn't want to refund us for over-charging. Instead he offered us credit - even though our dog is palliative and may never need to have her medication refilled.
I urge you to avoid this vet at all costs. He's passive aggressive toward clients, doesn't listen to your concerns and handles animals with wreckless abandon. In the past few years he has dramatically increased his prices - we got a $750 bill for simply visiting an asking for a refill of metacam and flea treatment (it shouldn't have been more than $400, but everything has to have $250 worth of bloodwork done).

Affordable Clinic.....? The $35 exam fee seems to lure people in then overcharge (higher than normal prices) for everything else with forced vaccine and blood-work while telling you "very competive pricing". The place is ghetto in ghetto area and the doctor (if he actually is one) is a passive-aggressive, rude arrogant man that seems to have hatred for canadians that aren't from the third world. I paid for exam and then left with my cat. DON'T RECOMMEND!!!

Brought my cat to vet for blood test and was given cat back with a bloody paw, her neck had blood from the puncture wound where the veterinarian put in the needle and my cat was covered in feces. We warned the vet she doesn’t like other people at the beginning and the vet automatically put on a muzzle which covered her mouth and eyes which is when my cat started freaking out. He proceeded to take her to a different room where we could hear her squealing for 5 minutes before we got her back like described above.

Exam prices are excellent and carries an assortment of food, supplies. He is moving across the road to the plaza on the south side of Kingston Road so if you do not find him at the old location, just look across the street. He also has a second clinic and his hours are good.

We decided to visit this animal hospital because of its low costs and the reviews looked good - our kittens needed two shots.
The vet took a rectal temperature first instead of trying to take their underarm. There was no warning or support to hold the kitten down, he just stuck it in there. Poor kitties, they freaked out.
When it came to the shots, with no guidance or help, the vet just went for it. The kitten was not held down and was just sitting on the examination table. I thought he would have held the kitten securely so that they wouldn't move or try to run away as the needle was in them but nope. I was terrified the needle would break. After the first needle, my bf held our kitten but still we don't know how to hold them in a position where they can't move.
The first vet we had ever went to (not this one) had an assistant come in the room hold the kitten and they did not even panic or freak out at all. This vet, ugh.
It was a horrible experience.

This place is not an emergency hospital. I took my kitten here for her first few shots with no problem. She broke her leg one day and taking her here was the worst idea. I was charged $400-$500 for nothing. They used a splint and instructed me to wait a day to see what happens. My kitten was not having it so we took her to the Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital. Turns out the vet at Eastside further displaced her fractured leg with an oversized splint that only put her in more pain. She needed a surgery, not even suggested by the Eastside vet. If you're looking for a vet to give your pet regular shots, your fur baby will be fine. But I would NEVER recommend this place for an emergency.

I took my cat and dog here for years. Dr. Suresh was always kind and patient with my pets and my questions. When discussing optional services, I never felt pressured or guilted into spending the extra money.
He looked after neutering my puppy and everything went perfectly.
Sadly I moved out of Scarborough and have to find a new vet

Came here for shots and an exam for my new puppy. Prices looked good so figured id check it out and if it checked off id make the doctor my permanent vet. Result? Think ill go somewhere else. If i have concerns about my pups low rbc and ask how i could manage it i expect my vet to educate me and not push a service. When i come with my pups vaccine history it shouldnt be up to me which vaccinations i should give her. I shouldnt feel like im the vet when doing a check up for my dog.

I recently came over to this clinic because my dogs vet passed away a few months ago, I must say i am Very impressed with the way the staff handled my dog. The technician Kaiesha is always so nice and gentle with our pup, she weighs him, give's him treats and also will bring him water if he looks like he's in need. She is very easy to get a long with and you can tell she's very much educated on her job always give me the best advice a long with the doctor, he handles my dog with lots of care, interacts with him before vaccine's or getting his anal glands done so he's not so nervous.
can be a bit expensive, but it is worth it.

Prices are not affordable. He insists on doing $250 bloodwork with almost every visit. Dr Suresh seems to have a genuine dislike of animals. He's very difficult to deal with and the services he does perform (like x-ray) are done with a staggering level of incompetence. We brought our rottweiler in to have her hip x-rayed and she fell off the table during the procedure.

Brought my cat to vet for blood test and was given cat back with a bloody paw, her neck had blood from the puncture wound where the veterinarian put in the needle and my cat was covered in feces. We decided to visit this animal hospital because of its low costs and the reviews looked good - our kittens needed two shots.
The vet took a rectal temperature first instead of trying to take their underarm. There was no warning or support to hold the kitten down, he just stuck it in there. Poor kitties, they freaked out.

I took my cat and dog here for years. Dr. Suresh was always kind and patient with my pets and my questions. When discussing optional services, I never felt pressured or guilted into spending the extra money.
He looked after neutering my puppy and everything went perfectly.
Sadly I moved out of Scarborough and have to find a new vet

Amazing veterinarian services. The vet really cares for the animals, explains everything to the owner and the prices are very good. I have now found my new vet! I couldn't be happier.
