At Schomberg Veterinary Services our knowledgeable staff and our facilities allow us to deal with a variety of medical conditions your pet may experience. We specialize in the prevention of diseases and heath issues as it is the best path to ensure the long happy lives of our pets. Ask about our comprehensive wellness and vaccination programs.Should your pet get a disease, early diagnosis can lead your pet to a longer healthier life. For example, Kidney disease, if diagnosed early, will allow us to modify your dog or cat's diet and in some cases add supplements to their diet to potentially extend their lives. We provide many surgical services at our clinic including routine spay and neuters, soft-tissue surgeries and orthopedic surgeries. Occasionally, we refer our patients to specialists (board certified veterinary surgeons) to perform complex operations.We hope we do not have to see you or your pet for an emergency but if we do, we are equipped to handle the situation. We know the issue of pain management is of great concern to pet owners today. As in human medicine, we have a variety of medications available to manage your pets pain both before and after surgery and in the event of trauma. We would be pleased to discuss the options available to you and your pet under any of the above circumstances. We Specialize In The Overall Health Of Your Pet.

The new ownership is appalling, went for an anal gland issue and was prescribed anti inflammatory meds and antibiotics…… which was a bill of 400$. Switched vets because I didn’t receive a phone call back for a week when I expressed my concern that nothing has changed and the new vet expressed the glands, 180$ bill and problem solved, steer clear of this new ownership

Seemed nice at first but now I get it. costly, misguided unecessary recommendations that turned out to be off base. Do your research, compare prices and ask for recommendations from real local people.

I can’t say enough about this practice. I have been going here for 6 years now. After the switch over to Dr. GiGi, I was hearing poor things, that was coming off as town gossip. I clarified some things with the secretary and decided to continue going here. And I’m glad I did. Dr. GiGi is a fantastic vet. She cares so much about the animals and works so hard to give the best care. I have been so happy with the services here and they have taken great care of my weenie dog over the last couple years.

Stay away from this vet it was bought out by someone who sold all the information of all the clients, absolutely disgraceful. I have nothing to do with this vet I've told them that I've asked them to leave me alone and they still harass me constantly with phone calls and emails.

I did not know that Dr Wigglesworth had retired as I had not been into the office for over a year. I walked in recently to obtain some non prescription meds for my cat and was revolted. The cat that resides there looks sick, looks like it hasn't been brushed since the day it was born, looks very unhealthy and very unhappy. The staff look like teenaged rappers, unprofessional, visible tatoos all overl. The office is coated in cat fur and dust, files everywhere, even the blinds look like they are about to fall off the windows. The office looks disgusting, falling apart. The staff told me they'd call me the next day regarding medication payment and pick up, they allegedly updated my phone number, no call ever came. The wonderful days of Dr Wigglesworth (Dr Dave) are over. I will now be taking my cat to Newmarket as I do not trust the sanitary conditions of the office with a healthy pet, let alone a sick one. Disgusting - the new vet should be embarrased by her lack of office maintenance and overall business conditions.

We were long-standing customers of Schomberg Vet Services, the care we received from Dr. Wigglesworth and his staff was always fantastic! However, since the new owner has taken over, the quality of service has deteriorated dramatically. The staff told me that they had not renewed their contract with MyVetStore so I was unable to order cat food online anymore. Dr. Gigi diagnosed our 8-month-old kitten with Stomatitis without conducting a biopsy, immediately recommending full teeth extraction instead of starting with much less invasive treatments as suggested by our new vet. The final straw was when we tried to make an appointment to have our polydactyl cat's nails cut and were told that they no longer offer this service.

This used to be a fantastic clinic when it was owned by Dr. Wigglesworth. Under the new ownership the customer service, even for long-term clients, is not there. There is all new staff and everything seems very disorganized. The clinic also gave me misleading information which was very unprofessional and unethical.

An excellent practice! The whole staff is friendly and professional. They take the time to include you in your pets treatment by fully explaining and showing you the issues at hand and the treatment options. I just recently had a teeth cleaning and some extractions done for my dachshund. Not only were they the best price around, but they do quality work as well. Their reasons for the lower price is that they want people to be taking care of their pets mouths, but unfortunately it is a pricey treatment and the mouth therefor gets neglected. This can lead to serious health issues for your dog and much more expensive treatments in the future. So they have found a price threshold that people are more willing to pay for. Obviously extractions at any vets can rack up the bill but starting off with a lower base price is a great help. I highly recommend!!

I can’t say enough about this practice. I have been going here for 6 years now. After the switch over to Dr. GiGi, I was hearing poor things, that was coming off as town gossip. I clarified some things with the secretary and decided to continue going here. And I’m glad I did. Dr. GiGi is a fantastic vet.
