This veterinary hospital is responsible for my dog’s death. The first vet we saw here did not even recommend tests when my dog was obviously(to a vet) exhibiting signs of heart failure. The second vet diagnosed her but failed to give the proper treatment or refer us to a specialist when she could have been saved. My dog was euthanized needlessly before her time because of their ineptitude. To add insult to injury the vet wrote in my dog’s medical records that she could not give all the treatments necessary because l told her l couldn’t afford it, which was a complete and utter fabrication. I could not believe my eyes when l saw this! I begged her to save my dog at any cost, and told her money was no object. I have such guilt and terrible remorse for taking my dog to such a low level vet hospital but they were the only one accepting new patients when we moved to the area. They have a reputation for having gone down hill, which l guess is why they still do not have a full client base. I will never say a good word about them. They are dangerous to our pets. Read Less

Advice get another vet clinic , a!most lost my dog on account of them,try Ostrander vet excellent service , excellent vets, and can't beat the techs and front desk girls. Was a client at Queensway for 31 years and once they sold to a cooperation it totally went downhill fast. On April 13, 2022 my dog was experiencing some symptoms, tired and labored breathing I immediately called the vet at 8 AM to request an appointment but was told that nothing was available on that day, perhaps there might be a cancelation the following day. I reminded the receptionist that the sign in the waiting room stated that emergencies come first, and I asked what would have happened if I had just brought Dozer in and I was told he would have been turned away. We have dealt with this vet for 18 years and 4 dogs needless to say I was shocked and extremely disappointed. Consequently a vet (Mohawk Animal Clinic Professional Corp) was located in Hamilton and at 10AM that morning and after extensive testing and being told that with medication prescribed he would get better ( an inflamed pancreas ). An hour later Dozer died just as we arrived home. PLEASE think twice about using either of these vets- when we needed help the most it was either not provided or not properly diagnosed. *Footnote---Queensway accepted Dozers body for cremation for a fee of course !!!
