Carleton Veterinary Services and Lanark Veterinary Clinic are full-service veterinary medical facilities, located in North Gower, and Smith Falls, Ontario. Our professional and courteous staff at both Ottawa regional animal hospitals seek to provide the best possible medical, surgical and dental care for our highly-valued patients.
Our canine rehabilitation services along with our orthopaedic medicine and ACL surgery is a referring practice for many Eastern Ontario Veterinary Clinics. We provide canine surgical and therapy services with patients returning to their referring veterinarian for general care.
We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients. Our mission is total client satisfaction and education and goal is to constantly strive to be the best we can be.

Compassionate is the first word that comes to mind when describing the staff at Lanark vets. Excellent care for my fur baby, I'd recommend bringing yours to them.

Horrible experience. Twice in less than two weeks they've screwed up my appointment for my dog to get a check up, without giving any explanation the first time. The second time even though I called in...
Horrible experience. Twice in less than two weeks they've screwed up my appointment for my dog to get a check up, without giving any explanation the first time. The second time even though I called in advance the day before and was told I was good to go for my appointment, I arrive there the day of to be told I had no appointment. Two days I've had to take off work for these appointments. Total lack of communication within that office. Will never be going back.

Awesome! Our new puppy has had wonderful experiences there and our senior dog is treated so wonderfully when she comes in for her nail trims! Can't say enough good things!

We took our new kitties for their very first vet visit last week with Dr Smallwood, she took very good care of them and the receptionist and tech were also very kind....they each got a swag bag with toys and a little blankie (which they love and are sleeping under right now) thank you to the staff!

My 10 year old dog tore a cruciate ligament in the spring of this year, and thanks to the wonderful care he received from Dr Kevin Bacon and the staff at CVS, my dog is back to 100% fitness!

I would like to offer kudos to the very sweet woman who took my call at the Smiths Falls clinic, I believe her name is Chris. Customer service seems to be an option not a standard these days for most organizations, but our furry family member is getting old and understandably I had a number of questions about finding a clinic that would look after the old guy and Chris showed such compassion and patience with my millions of questions. Thank you to you for being the kind person on the other end of the line! We will be recommending this clinic in future :)

Visited 2 years ago for neutering. Had asked for an estimate 2 times prior, but when picked up our pet it cost an extra $200.00 they did not include the anthestic in the quote. $702.00 was a bit much.Shock was an understatement. Make sure you get a quote on paper.
