We have primarily dealt with Dr. Wilkinson but can attest to the entire team, from the techs to the receptionist that greet you at the door – all top notch! We had not been here since 1998 or so when Dr. Wilkinson performed two lumpectomies on our pet mouse, one of which he did not even charge us for. After moving back to Sudbury recently, we went to another vet clinic for a while until we had an emergency with our cat that ended with him having to be euthanized at Lockerby. Even though this was a terribly sad event, we were so impressed with the experience in terms of how Dr. Andrews and the veterinary technician handled the euthanasia we decided to switch vets and have not been disappointed since. Lockerby Animal Hospital demonstrates absolutely incredible and truly genuine care for both pets and clients.

Lockerby Animal Hospital is a very professional and friendly animal hospital with a staff that are well trained and caring. I have used the vets here for well over a decade and have been impressed every time we visit. There are lots of good vets in Sudbury, but the Lockerby Animal Hospital still manages to stand out amongst them.

I took my dog that had a sudden injury to Lockerby rather than my usual vet and by the end of the appointment I had switched vets. Lockerby staff are SO friendly and the Dr actually listened to me describe my dog and the type of lifestyle he had rather than just presribe a surgery. Very professional staff and nice, clean clinic.

Dr. Chad is the best. He is so kind and you can tell he truly loves animals. He helped me with my senior dog without making us go through expensive tests and he lived another 3 yrs to the ripe old age...
Dr. Chad is the best. He is so kind and you can tell he truly loves animals. He helped me with my senior dog without making us go through expensive tests and he lived another 3 yrs to the ripe old age of 17. WHen we brought him in, he made sure it was for the right reasons and we held him as he helped us send him over the rainbow bridge. THe whole staff there are the best. I will be bringing my new rescue senior in to have his mouth checked and my cat.

The compassion for pets and their families that the Lockerby Animal Hospital has shown us is truly remarkable. I would never go to another clinic unless absolutely necessary. Dr. Wilkinson, Dr. Andrews and Dr. James Hysen who made me first admire their practice show the city of Sudbury why veterinary medecin is a calling not just a job. Very welcoming especially for not being my local vet, and for not being from Sudbury. Very accepting to new clients and are quick at making appointments when needed, as opposed to being turned away for not being a prior client at other vet clinics. Services were fast and not too highly priced. Will definitely bring my dog back to the clinic if needed during my time in Sudbury :)

Having called the emergency vet line today and getting Allison and Dr.Andrews on a Sunday morning (after Dr. Andrews had been there until 6am with another emergency). They were so friendly and so great with us and our cat. We received better care from them than our normal vet and will definitely be switching vets for their 5-star service. Friendly and very thorough, glad we finally got some real answers.

Absolutely great experience every time I bring my dog to Lockerby Animal Hospital. They constantly email me reminders for check ups and helpful tips. The vets are knowledgeable and take the time to explain things to you. My girlfriend had the pleasure of taking my dog for me and is now switching vets with her dog because of the great customer experience she had.

My husky/lab mix puppy fractured her leg this summer when she was 7 months old. Thanks to the care from the vets and techs, she is back to her usual crazy self as if nothing had ever happened. Despite the unpleasant cast situation (you try keeping a 7 month old puppy quiet for 7 weeks, neither of us were happy- haha), Aly has always looked forward to giving everyone kisses when she comes through the door. We'll continue our visits here for many years to come, I'm sure. Thanks for the care we have been recieving so far.

I bring my 6 month old Weim to Lockerby under the care of Dr. Andrews. He just loves her; smothers her with kisses at every visit! I am very pleased with how friendly and caring Dr. Andrews has been to my little boy. The staff at the clinic have been very pleasant and I love the phone app and online booking options. The pricing is reasonable as well. A+

The staff treated our cat like a member of our family, from regular annual appointments up until the end (sniff). They were caring, and sensitive, and always looking out for our best interests. Dr. Chad is always welcoming and has a smile for everyone, and we enjoy the open houses that the hospital holds on a periodic basis to give members of the public a own behind all of the closed doors and the fascinating lab equipment they have.

Having called the emergency vet line today and getting Allison and Dr.Andrews on a Sunday morning (after Dr. Andrews had been there until 6am with another emergency). They were so friendly and so great with us and our cat. We received better care from them than our normal vet and will definitely be switching vets for their 5-star service. My husky/lab mix puppy fractured her leg this summer when she was 7 months old. Thanks to the care from the vets and techs, she is back to her usual crazy self as if nothing had ever happened.
