Well.. I'm speechless. The staff here are nothing short of AMAZING!! A little on me... I was never able to have children due to an early total hysterectomy. Therefore my cats ARE/WERE my children, know as "Fur-Babies" I had 3, all rescues. My "Gadget" fell ill shortly after our move. I had to make that dreadful descision... Keeping him would be selfish, he was full of Pneumonia and 12 yrs old. We kept him home for 2 extra days to say goodbye.. Hardest day in my LIFE!! This vet himself and the staff were beyond thoughtful and caring... After having to lay my "baby" to rest, a week later I received a card of Sympathy from the Vet office with "Gadgets" paw print.. I am a resident of Sundridge attending school in Toronto. While down in the city my dog fell very ill with what was believed to be kennel cough. I took her to a local vet in Mississauga that not only over charged me, but gave me a bunch of medication that really made no change to Dixie's condition. She actually deteriorated further to the point I feared for her life. Thankfully, I was able to get back home to see Dr. Fritz. He examined Dixie, made the appropriate recommendations and perform the needed procedures, and sure enough, I swear within hours she was looking better already. Now, 3 days have passed and she is just about 100% again. I will never trust another vet other than Dr. Fritz ever again. After my foster was unfortunately hit by a car, I was asked to bring him to this vet. I went through a lot of troubles with the foster being able to let me cremate him, ending in me not being able to do so because he was a ward of the rescue. I did not have any lasting memories of him. The vets and vet assistants sent me a card with a written note and his paw print on it. it instantly brought me to tears. yesterday, friends of mine, totally distraught as the result of an accident that resulted in the death of their beloved dog laddie, came to you for assistance and were made to wait for over an hour in their car, in the heat, with two other pets and laddie before you found the time to help them!!!... come on people, where's the compassion??? ... will no longer be recommending this hospital to locals or visitors!! Verzijlenberg Veterinary Hospital has the best veterinary services in the area. Their entire team is very knowledgeable and they sincerly care about your pets health and well-being. They hold the same standards for their animal hospital that a human hospital has, this matters so much to me because when I drop my dog off I know he is in good hands. They are very understanding of peoples budget without any judgement. My dog seems to be accident prone and with me being fresh out of college and just starting a new job money is tight, but they still did the best job possible for my little guy. It would be much closer for me to take my dog to Huntsville for his veterinary care but I gladly make the longer drive to take my dog to their services in Sundridge. I just want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Paige for coming to our home to put our beloved Cooper to sleep. She was so compassionate and it helped to make us so comfortable during this stressful time. We always stay with our dogs when they are put to sleep and Dr. Paige indicated that they do it the most humane way possible. Cooper was sedated so that he would feel no pain and crossed to the Rainbow Bridge peacefully where he was met by all of his friends who had gone before him. Giz our little 14.5 year old Shih Tzu is missing his buddy Coop and sniffs around the house, but we are thankful that he is at least eating. Again, Dr. Paige thank you so very very much for your compassion and for the peaceful way you let him pass. Cooper will be missed so very much but will remain in our hearts forever. Read Less

This is my home vet. It is in a small area where not many people are, but they do fantastic work. From surgeries to house calls! I am now a College Student in Ottawa and have received a new kitten. I was in need of worm pills, had no idea what to do, so I called and asked. They assisted me as best they could and now my kitten even though 6 hours away is getting her medicine that was suggested. They have dealt with my families older animals and have done an amazing job! I would recommend this clinic to anyone that seeks a vet.
