General Info
Mobile Veterinarian and technician come to your home! Dog or cat house call appointments. Routine appointments/ vaccines. Your well or sick pet can have labwork collected at home. Lab samples brought to lab for often same day results (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal, etc). Sick animals are often able to receive treatment in your home. When required, able to perform humane at home euthanasia with aftercare transport for cremation. If your pet requires hospitalization, we can arrange for Surgery, Dental cleaning/extractions or X-rays, iv fluids/medication if required at affiliated clinic. Dr. McGowan and her assistant Cynthia (hope I have that right as my mind was elsewhere) were absolutely amazing. As noted elsewhere in reviews, when it came time to help our eighteen year old cat "depart in peace" in the comfort of home, they were extremely professional, compassionate, understanding, respectful and gracious. We could not have hoped for a more peaceful end to a life that brought us such comfort, happiness and joy.Thank you does not go far enough. (And 5 stars isn't enough)

A big shout out to Dr. McGowan and her wonderful technician. We have been dealing with a very sick cat, and taking him out to a vet's office was out of the question, after dealing with other house calls Vets I was fortunate to come across animal house calls. These ladies are the epitome of professionalism , they took their time with Flash, and with us explaining everything step by step, not only were they able to do what other vets couldn't (ie,. draw blood without sedation) they were able to get a FULL set of tests done. And if that wasn't enough, Dr McGowan personally delivered Flash's medicines to us, and sat with us and went over in great detail his diagnosis and treatment regiments. This Vet is a DEFINITE recommend to any fur parents who want the best possible care for their loved ones. Thanks ladies, you're the best!!

I really appreciate the professionalism of Dr. McGowan and her assistant! With their kind hearts and patience, the excellent team work did help my beloved cat departing in peace... Though being in deep sadness, their kind gestures and their calmness did give me the sense of comfort knowing that my dearly precious cat leaving this world at ease. Many thanks from the bottom of my heart to your team.

Dr McGowan is knowledgeable, dedicated, patient, compassionate, tactful, very easy going, and professional. We had to euthanize our cat and we chose to have the procedure done at home, in a rather last minute and difficult to make decision. Dr McGowan answered all our questions, explored options with us, arrived promptly, and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. Most importantly, Dr McGowan executed the euthanasia procedure with no apparent distress or discomfort to our beloved cat. Definitely worth the house call fees and would highly recommend Animal Housecalls of Toronto.

THEY ARE AMAZING! Very gentle vet who is very gentle and thorough in her examination. Takes her time to explain the treatment options and recommend what is best. Especially without a car, it's really helpful to have someone who will come to us, so that we don't have to battle the subway to sit in a waiting room. So very happy with this vet!

The most compassionate and helpful veterinarian I have ever had. Also the best veterinarian technician who was so gentle in giving needles to my cat. They were both so caring and very generous of their time. I will never go anywhere else for my beloved pets' care. This veterinarian is the BEST!!!

Dr. McGowan and her assistant Cynthia (hope I have that right as my mind was elsewhere) were absolutely amazing. As noted elsewhere in reviews, when it came time to help our eighteen year old cat "depart in peace" in the comfort of home, they were extremely professional, compassionate, understanding, respectful and gracious. A big shout out to Dr. McGowan and her wonderful technician. We have been dealing with a very sick cat, and taking him out to a vet's office was out of the question, after dealing with other house calls Vets I was fortunate to come across animal house calls.
