I have been going to EVS for over 10 years. I am very satisfied with the service and care that my pets have received. They truly care about the animals that come to them and they take the time to explain to the owners what the issues are and how they are going to treat the pets. When I had to put my beloved 16 year old cat to rest, Dr. Bateman was wonderful and empathetic. She let me sit in the waiting room and hold my boy and cry my eyes out. Not happy. My husband brought our dog in today who is afraid of strangers, especially when they are trying to touch her. We have been to a number of different vets in the past who have been very calm and patient with her, muzzled her and were able to complete the visit without issue (including vaccines and micro chipping, etc.). I am not certain which doctor dealt with my dog today, but they took her to another room and yelled "JESUS F*CKING CHRIST" at my dog, who I guess had bit the doctor. I'm not sure how this happened as my husband was told to wait in the other room, but I guess they didn't put the muzzle on right. Then he was told to come back with her another day. It's unbelievable that a professional vet is not equipped to deal gently with a scared and vulnerable dog and ensure she is muzzled correctly, so you are not causing her unnecessary stress and then yelling at her. This is incredibly unprofessional. Not happy. Not ever going back here.

Took my new kitten and our 3 yr old cat to this clinic for some vaccinations and yearly check-up. Great service, quick (in and out within 25 minutes), and overall just a good experience and all the folks there are passionate about what they do. There is both street parking and residential parking for 1 hour in the surrounding neighbourhood street which make if convenient if you are driving.

The doctors are extremely trustworthy, charlie has received amazing care and love here. We would never go elsewhere. I recommend this vet to anyone.

Fantastic vet. I have been taking my dog moxie to another vet in Scarborough for about three years now. She injured her eye and we found out that it was a corneal ulcer. I have been visiting that vet for about three straight months and her eye showed no signs of recovery. After visiting Eglington vet her eye has quickly been on the road to recovery in only about one week! I wish I knew about this place earlier! I would recommend to anyone in the area!

I've been taking my dogs and cats to this clinic for thirty years! I'm moved many times in the city and have tried other vets that were closer to home. Eglinton Vet comes out ahead by a mile! The staff take time to get to know you and your pet, answer all your questions and they charge reasonable rates. Dr.Watson is an important member of our family and has helped us through the good times and bad (saying goodbye to a pet).

Follow up post on this great facility. My cat caught an eye infection and I was 39 weeks pregnant and worried that if I didn't get it addressed ASAP I wouldn't be able to manage afterward. They booked a spot for me immediately, despite their office being hit by the flooding on Eglinton Avenue. These people are superheros, and will go to any length to care for your pet.

Truly an amazing veterinary office. All staff members have a clear love and passion for working with animals and are very friendly with pet parents too. Prices are reasonable but the quality of service is what matters most. One of our cats has to have regular bloodwork done and they have gotten to know how she likes to be handled and how to quickly do the procedure to keep her calm. Always very gentle but firm during regular check-ups and are great at answering any questions we have regarding our two cats' needs.

Only 4 stars because not all the vets are nice... I love Dr. Bateman, she is amazing. She treats my dogs with such kindness and answers all my questions. However, Dr. Nofal (or something) is another story. I asked her some questions about my puppy and she really didn't even give me the time of day. She looked very irritated and was rushing me out. She also didn't catch my puppies ear infection, she said he was itching because of allergies and didn't even look in his ear. I had to go back to the vet a few days later because his ear was getting really bad, which Dr. Bateman diagnosed with a severe yeast infection. So -1 star because of Dr. Nofal!

We have been dealing with Eglinton Vets for many years. Dr. Bateman has been wonderful. Our dog Marta loves going! We are looking forward to taking our soon to be adopted rescue kittens. The staff are also kind and helpful including Matthew Nettleton and the receptionists. Parking is limited so timing appointments to fit with local traffic restrictions is recommended.

Our pets have been patients of Dr. Watson for as long as we've had pets. First there was our cat George, an orange tabby who also happened to be the best cat EVER. Dr. Watson looked after him from kitten hood until just recently when George had to go to sleep. Dr. Watson's gentle hand helped end George's suffering. Now we have Rosie, a Beagle pupper. She's had her jabs by Dr. Watson and will be under his care henceforth. A big shout out to all at Eglinton Vet

Took my 5lb dog in the dead of winter -30 degrees. They told my dog couldn't come in because they thought he had kennel cough. Stood out in the snow as the vet came to listen to his heart, take his temp etc. Confirmed he has kennel cough, gave me meds and charged me full price. My dog got worse so I had to go elsewhere. My dog actually had an undiagnosed heart murmur, water in his lungs and heart failure. They nearly killed my little guy :(. His heart murmur was apparently so loud and it blew the other vets mind that they couldn't hear it, never mind making my tiny dog stay outside for a checkup

I noticed my dog was having trouble breathing more often when he played and so I called this vet as they were the closest to my new place. They said I could bring the dog over but since he was sick they wouldn't let him into the clinic. So in the dead of winter, one of the coldest days BTW, I had to stand outside with my 4 lb dog for the vet to check. I was told he had kennel cough (though vaccinated) and they had the audacity to charge me full price for the visit (and meds). Well turns out my dog actually had a heart murmur (the vet somehow missed when checking) and was in heart failure (and had a leaky heart valve). The coughing was because he had water in his lungs and by the time this was found out by a obviously more knowledgeable vet, he almost had pneumonia and probably standing outside for a 20 minute check up while snowing probably didn't help.

This is the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to. All the vets are passionate about animals and are so caring towards my cat. I always feel that they have my cat's best interest at heart but are also very aware of my budget. I never feel 'sold' to unlike other vets in the area I have been to. I highly recommend them.

I've taken my dog, Neko, here twice for non-urgent issues and the staff are amazing. Dr. Bev Bateman is so kind and shows genuine affection and care towards her. She gives great advice, doesn't try to upsell you to other expensive treatments and actively tries to save you money by being truthful and honest with what you need. I asked her about pet insurance and she gave me a lot of great advice and did up a quote with the most routine care visits might cost to try and help me figure out if it's worth getting a wellness package or not. The other girls at the clinic are fantastic and so nice. Neko is a recent rescue with some fear and anxiety issues and they totally make her feel comfortable and she actually loves coming her (the endless supply of treats helps). All in all, I'm so happy to have this clinic nearby and know that everyone there is kind, caring, passionate about their patients well-being. I wouldn't take Neko any where else.

My beautiful dog Santos was in need of tremendous medical care because of one issue after another. The staff at Eglinton Veterinary Facilities were incredible. They gave my dog exceptional care, handling, and would inform me of everything along the way. They were always available to answer anything and everything about costs, timelines, procedures. Honestly, the exceptional level of professionalism, service, love and care that this clinic gives, is something that all businesses should aspire to. I'm grateful to have found this clinic after trying others. I recommend this place for your loving pet 100%.

Stay away from dr. Bateman.She turned our cat blind overnight by giving him 3x his body weight in Baytril. She thought she was giving him 1.03 times the dosis. Dr. Bateman couldn't do math.And that led to his blindness. She apologized. We left for another vet and are very happy with Forrest Hill Animal hospital in Toronto.We did not have the energy to sue her. Or the time or the money. Nevertheless. Don't go there. There are better vets. Ones who can do math.

When my cat got sick after eating something he shouldn't, Jen Hodges accurately and quickly diagnosed the problem and recommended a reasonable course of action to treat him. She patiently answered all of my questions, and phoned several times to help both Newt and his 'anxious person' manage through the crisis. All of the vets at this practice are competent and caring. I have been going to EVS for over 10 years. I am very satisfied with the service and care that my pets have received. Not happy. My husband brought our dog in today who is afraid of strangers, especially when they are trying to touch her. We have been dealing with Eglinton Vets for many years. Dr. Bateman has been wonderful. Our dog Marta loves going! We are looking forward to taking our soon to be adopted rescue kittens. The staff are also kind and helpful including Matthew Nettleton and the receptionists. Parking is limited so timing appointments to fit with local traffic restrictions is recommended.

Our pets have been patients of Dr. Watson for as long as we've had pets. First there was our cat George, an orange tabby who also happened to be the best cat EVER. Dr. Watson looked after him from kitten hood until just recently when George had to go to sleep. Dr. Watson's gentle hand helped end George's suffering. Now we have Rosie, a Beagle pupper. She's had her jabs by Dr. Watson and will be under his care henceforth. A big shout out to all at Eglinton Vet

Took my 5lb dog in the dead of winter -30 degrees. They told my dog couldn't come in because they thought he had kennel cough. Stood out in the snow as the vet came to listen to his heart, take his temp etc. Confirmed he has kennel cough, gave me meds and charged me full price. My dog got worse so I had to go elsewhere. My dog actually had an undiagnosed heart murmur, water in his lungs and heart failure. They nearly killed my little guy :(. His heart murmur was apparently so loud and it blew the other vets mind that they couldn't hear it, never mind making my tiny dog stay outside for a checkup

I noticed my dog was having trouble breathing more often when he played and so I called this vet as they were the closest to my new place. They said I could bring the dog over but since he was sick they wouldn't let him into the clinic. So in the dead of winter, one of the coldest days BTW, I had to stand outside with my 4 lb dog for the vet to check. I was told he had kennel cough (though vaccinated) and they had the audacity to charge me full price for the visit (and meds). Well turns out my dog actually had a heart murmur (the vet somehow missed when checking) and was in heart failure (and had a leaky heart valve). The coughing was because he had water in his lungs and by the time this was found out by a obviously more knowledgeable vet, he almost had pneumonia and probably standing outside for a 20 minute check up while snowing probably didn't help.

This is the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to. All the vets are passionate about animals and are so caring towards my cat. I always feel that they have my cat's best interest at heart but are also very aware of my budget. I never feel 'sold' to unlike other vets in the area I have been to. I highly recommend them.

I've taken my dog, Neko, here twice for non-urgent issues and the staff are amazing. Dr. Bev Bateman is so kind and shows genuine affection and care towards her. She gives great advice, doesn't try to upsell you to other expensive treatments and actively tries to save you money by being truthful and honest with what you need. I asked her about pet insurance and she gave me a lot of great advice and did up a quote with the most routine care visits might cost to try and help me figure out if it's worth getting a wellness package or not. The other girls at the clinic are fantastic and so nice. Neko is a recent rescue with some fear and anxiety issues and they totally make her feel comfortable and she actually loves coming her (the endless supply of treats helps). All in all, I'm so happy to have this clinic nearby and know that everyone there is kind, caring, passionate about their patients well-being. I wouldn't take Neko any where else.

My beautiful dog Santos was in need of tremendous medical care because of one issue after another. The staff at Eglinton Veterinary Facilities were incredible. They gave my dog exceptional care, handling, and would inform me of everything along the way. They were always available to answer anything and everything about costs, timelines, procedures. Honestly, the exceptional level of professionalism, service, love and care that this clinic gives, is something that all businesses should aspire to. I'm grateful to have found this clinic after trying others. I recommend this place for your loving pet 100%.

Chloe has been going here since she was a baby and is now 8 years old. She loves her trips to the vet. They are also patient with our rescue pug who gets a bit anxious at times!

Stay away from dr. Bateman.She turned our cat blind overnight by giving him 3x his body weight in Baytril. She thought she was giving him 1.03 times the dosis. Dr. Bateman couldn't do math.And that led to his blindness. She apologized. We left for another vet and are very happy with Forrest Hill Animal hospital in Toronto.We did not have the energy to sue her. Or the time or the money. Nevertheless. Don't go there. There are better vets. Ones who can do math.

When my cat got sick after eating something he shouldn't, Jen Hodges accurately and quickly diagnosed the problem and recommended a reasonable course of action to treat him. She patiently answered all of my questions, and phoned several times to help both Newt and his 'anxious person' manage through the crisis. All of the vets at this practice are competent and caring.
