I've been here 3 times, twice for routine procedures, and once for a potential medical issue. The two times for routine stuff (vaccinations, poop check) were great, it was easy and everything went smoothly. But the one negative experience - my cat (4 months old at the time) was not using his litter box. I called about it and they asked me to bring him in. I told the vet (sorry I don't recall the name but she has short hair) that he wasn't in any pain, he just didn't seem interested in using the box. She informed me that he likely had crystals which is a reoccurring issue, and would need special diet for life and possibly surgery. I was given a quote of $3000, and said they would take him overnight to observe and run tests. I was only a cat owner for 2 months at the time, and was scared, so I agreed as that was what I thought was best. I took my cat back the next day, and the tests came back negative for everything and no surgical procedures were required, and ended up costing me $600. It turned out, the only problem was, he didn't like the new litter I had used. When we went home he had no problem using the litter box at all. I could have solved this problem for $15 for new cat litter.I will say that they asked me for consent for every procedure he went through. But if an experience vet is saying things to an inexperienced cat owner, you're going to listen to them. She spent time explaining in detail what urine crystals and I was pretty much convinced. I felt like she wanted to find a problem. She didn't even recommend me to try changing the cat litter before running all these tests and having my 4 month kitten stay overnight.Obviously I am glad that he didn't have any medical problems, but I feel a little gypped about that whole event. I guess I will be a little more hesitant about bringing him to the vet in the future. All my other visits with the younger vet (again sorry I don't recall the name) were greats and I really liked her. I will continue coming here in the future but I will be more clear and confident about what I want and don't want. Read Less
