I have been going to Kew Beach for the past 5 years with my dog and two cats. During that time the service was always very good and I never felt pressured to do unnecessary tests or treatments on my fur buddies. Where Kew Beach really showed how awesome they were was recently when I had a sick elderly cat. I discussed tests and possible treatments with the Doctor and eventually settled on a course of antibiotics to treat the cat. Sadly this did not turn the cats health around and all the indications were of cancer. They were very good offering me treatment options, next steps and counsel as to how effective they might be to get things resolved. Sadly, I had to decide to put my cat down. The staff was really really supportive and helpful during a challenging and emotional time for me and I appreciated how they did all they could to make thing easy for me. They deserve the 5 stars for just this moment, and for years of great service.

We've been taking our cats to Kew Beach Vets for 7 years -- since we first got them as kittens. Dr. Skinner is an excellent vet -- well informed, truly interested in your pet, and very caring. He takes a lot of time examining our cats, asking us about them, and answering any and all questions about care. The whole team at KBVH is great -- welcoming, caring, and great with our cats. I highly recommend this practice.

I wish there were more stars to check !! We have taken our little Maggie to see Dr. Skinner since her first visit at 4 months old, as well as seeing Dr. Cohen. She is now 4 years old and a very healthy & happy little dog. We take her for her regular check ups to Kew Beach Vet and could not be more pleased with the excellent health care & services provided to us throughout the years. They are always very kind, gentle and reassuring. We are always provided with the best informative information. They take the time to answer all our questions and or concerns. The entire staff at Kew Beach have been wonderful with all our cats. They are so compassionate and caring, and talk to us openly and honestly about all our treatment options. You can tell they really want the best for every animal that walks through their doors. They take time with each client to explain test results and diagnoses, and the advice they give makes a lot of sense and they welcome you to think about it or ask questions. Most recently, Dr. Ali has been treating two of our cats through chronic illnesses, and she is outstanding with them. One of my cats wouldn't stop purring while she was examining him, he was just so happy and relaxed with her. The support staff are all fantastic and we genuinely look forward to our visits there. We've been clients for roughly five years now, and even though we've moved out of the area we go out of the way to take our cats there. We refer everyone to this clinic.

They were able to accommodate us in very short notice. It is our first time to this clinic and are very pleased with the way they took care of our dog Max. From the reception to the doctors I have them thumbs up. The vet ( I think her name is Ali) was very helpful and gave us well balance advised - unlike at other clinics we have been to in the past. Would highly recommend the place and will definitely be returning for Max future appointments and needs.

We arrived at the Kew Beach Vet Hospital after being recommended by some acquaintances and reading some reviews online, and boy they were right. The Staff is always incredibly attentive and supportive, and are ready to orient you on your needs. When needed, they have offered different treatment options to our dog, pointing out the pros and cons in each of them, but leaving us free to decide on what we would consider the most adequate one. We have had our pet being seen by 4 of their doctors by now, and the consistency on the handling and care is solid. Top notch!

Recently our beloved Argus developed some medical issues and required many visits to Kew Beacn Vet Hospital. The entire staff were very sensitive to his needs and issues. Dr. Karissa Ali had been treating Argus and she left no stone unturned to figure out what was the underlying cause. Dr. Skinner was also consulted and provided his advise and input during this time. Unfortunately after concrete diagnosis we had to make the difficult decison to put Argus to sleep. It did not go unnoticed the staff did everything they could to ease the transition for both Argus and us on the day of. The nice touches like the lit candle in reception area and toned down lighting to make things easier. The beautiful sympathy card we received with the messages of condolences signed by all the staff truly touched us as it was unexpected. We most certainly have made the right choice to be patients of Kew Beach Vet Hospital and shall continue to go there with our second dog Ripley. I have 2 other vets before coming here to visit Nigel and team. They truly do love animals and are very honest about everything. Like all pets, Finnegan (our 10 yr old English Cocker Spaniel) is a member of the family, and seeing as they can't speak for themselves, we care and watch over them immensely. KEW Beach Vets know this and treat all animals as family members. They are remarkably great. We recently had Finns teeth cleaned and i was leery of having him go under (anesthesia), but not only did they make me feel at ease about it, they're the only place i know that let you bring them home same day. I was not a fan of leaving him overnight. They are really awesome.

First time visit with our 18+ year-old cat earlier this week. We were most impressed from the initial phone call to the visit itself. Staff were friendly and professional and fully understood our reluctance at spending hundreds of dollars at this late stage of our cat's life. Dr. Skinner suspected our old boy was suffering from a hyper active thyroid, explaining the drastic weight loss (from 17+ lbs down to just over 8 lbs!). When we asked for the least expensive blood work he didn't flinch and recommended the least expensive panel of blood work that included a thyroid function test. When the results came back positive, he gave us 3 treatment options with various price points. Although we opted for the mid-range treatment that is topical rather than twice daily pills that was a little less expensive, we felt that whatever decision we made would be respected, even if we had opted not to treat. No visit to the vet is cheap but we came away feeling we had received excellent value for our money. We will happily bring Stretch back in a couple of weeks to ensure the medication is working as it should. This experience has been very different from the vet clinic we used for many years where we always came away feeling like they were trying to up sell you! Highly recommend this excellent practice!

I did my research when considering the adoption of a puppy born with brain damage. While she would need some special attention and assistance her condition was not degenerative and she could live a long and healthy life if given the chance. A very important consideration was finding a vet who understood what she did (and didn't) need and would work with me with her best interests always the first priority. Bella turned 5 years old this week and she's happy, healthy and thriving. Dr Skinner is the only vet she's ever been too and I'd like to say thank you for his kindness, wisdom and sage advise over the years. She blossomed.

This poor clinic has gone down hill ever since they moved from their location west of Coxwell on Queen. They modernized their new location but not their compassion. They now have boutique style atmosphere and therefore offer not even the smallest of advice for free. Dr Skinner as the task master sets all the fees and Dr Rowan his puppet follows along. If you are a regular spending money there often on your pets they roll out the red carpet for you. If you are a one pet owner who comes in on occasion they hardly notice when you enter the door except to offer you a bill for coming in.

Doctors Skinner and Rowland, and their staff, are the most compassionate and wonderful veterinary team I have ever encountered. I had just moved into the neighbourhood when my cat, Dante, became sick. I had a very similar situation to Abby R, where nothing we did to help him get better was working and we ended up in the clinic 2-3 times a week. Ultimately he had to be put down, but not for lack of trying or care. The doctors and their team did everything they could and for that I will be forever thankful. When the time came to put Dante down, Dr Rowland handled things in the most caring and patient manner. I wont hesitate to being my remaining cat, Olive, to them, and can't recommend them enough.

I just walked into Kew Beach Veterinary Hospital for the first time this morning to buy some special food you can only find at Vets offices. I really liked the clean and crisp feel of the office. The staff was very helpful and patient in answering my questions. The Dr. even spent a few minutes talking to me. The food that i needed was $0.50 less per can here than at another vet that i checked $1.65 vs $2.15!) Considering i have to buy alot of this stuff, that $0.50 helps alot!The location is great for me, right on Queen St. just east of Kingston Rd.I haven't yet booked any of my furry brood an appointment, but I definitely will!

I have been going to Kew Beach for the past 5 years with my dog and two cats. During that time the service was always very good and I never felt pressured to do unnecessary tests or treatments on my fur buddies. Where Kew Beach really showed how awesome they were was recently when I had a sick elderly cat. I discussed tests and possible treatments with the Doctor and eventually settled on a course of antibiotics to treat the cat. Sadly this did not turn the cats health around and all the indications were of cancer. They were very good offering me treatment options, next steps and counsel as to how effective they might be to get things resolved. Sadly, I had to decide to put my cat down. The staff was really really supportive and helpful during a challenging and emotional time for me and I appreciated how they did all they could to make thing easy for me. They deserve the 5 stars for just this moment, and for years of great service.

We've been taking our cats to Kew Beach Vets for 7 years -- since we first got them as kittens. Dr. Skinner is an excellent vet -- well informed, truly interested in your pet, and very caring. He takes a lot of time examining our cats, asking us about them, and answering any and all questions about care. The whole team at KBVH is great -- welcoming, caring, and great with our cats. I highly recommend this practice.

She is now 4 years old and a very healthy & happy little dog. We take her for her regular check ups to Kew Beach Vet and could not be more pleased with the excellent health care & services provided to us throughout the years. They are always very kind, gentle and reassuring. We are always provided with the best informative information. They take the time to answer all our questions and or concerns. The entire staff at Kew Beach have been wonderful with all our cats. They are so compassionate and caring, and talk to us openly and honestly about all our treatment options. You can tell they really want the best for every animal that walks through their doors. They take time with each client to explain test results and diagnoses, and the advice they give makes a lot of sense and they welcome you to think about it or ask questions. Most recently, Dr. Ali has been treating two of our cats through chronic illnesses, and she is outstanding with them. One of my cats wouldn't stop purring while she was examining him, he was just so happy and relaxed with her. The support staff are all fantastic and we genuinely look forward to our visits there. We've been clients for roughly five years now, and even though we've moved out of the area we go out of the way to take our cats there. We refer everyone to this clinic.

They were able to accommodate us in very short notice. It is our first time to this clinic and are very pleased with the way they took care of our dog Max. From the reception to the doctors I have them thumbs up. The vet ( I think her name is Ali) was very helpful and gave us well balance advised - unlike at other clinics we have been to in the past. Would highly recommend the place and will definitely be returning for Max future appointments and needs.

We arrived at the Kew Beach Vet Hospital after being recommended by some acquaintances and reading some reviews online, and boy they were right. The Staff is always incredibly attentive and supportive, and are ready to orient you on your needs. When needed, they have offered different treatment options to our dog, pointing out the pros and cons in each of them, but leaving us free to decide on what we would consider the most adequate one. We have had our pet being seen by 4 of their doctors by now, and the consistency on the handling and care is solid. Top notch!

Recently our beloved Argus developed some medical issues and required many visits to Kew Beacn Vet Hospital. The entire staff were very sensitive to his needs and issues. Dr. Karissa Ali had been treating Argus and she left no stone unturned to figure out what was the underlying cause. Dr. Skinner was also consulted and provided his advise and input during this time. Unfortunately after concrete diagnosis we had to make the difficult decison to put Argus to sleep. It did not go unnoticed the staff did everything they could to ease the transition for both Argus and us on the day of. The nice touches like the lit candle in reception area and toned down lighting to make things easier. The beautiful sympathy card we received with the messages of condolences signed by all the staff truly touched us as it was unexpected. We most certainly have made the right choice to be patients of Kew Beach Vet Hospital and shall continue to go there with our second dog Ripley. I have 2 other vets before coming here to visit Nigel and team. They truly do love animals and are very honest about everything. Like all pets, Finnegan (our 10 yr old English Cocker Spaniel) is a member of the family, and seeing as they can't speak for themselves, we care and watch over them immensely. KEW Beach Vets know this and treat all animals as family members. They are remarkably great. We recently had Finns teeth cleaned and i was leery of having him go under (anesthesia), but not only did they make me feel at ease about it, they're the only place i know that let you bring them home same day. I was not a fan of leaving him overnight. They are really awesome.

First time visit with our 18+ year-old cat earlier this week. We were most impressed from the initial phone call to the visit itself. Staff were friendly and professional and fully understood our reluctance at spending hundreds of dollars at this late stage of our cat's life. Dr. Skinner suspected our old boy was suffering from a hyper active thyroid, explaining the drastic weight loss (from 17+ lbs down to just over 8 lbs!). When we asked for the least expensive blood work he didn't flinch and recommended the least expensive panel of blood work that included a thyroid function test. When the results came back positive, he gave us 3 treatment options with various price points. Although we opted for the mid-range treatment that is topical rather than twice daily pills that was a little less expensive, we felt that whatever decision we made would be respected, even if we had opted not to treat. No visit to the vet is cheap but we came away feeling we had received excellent value for our money. We will happily bring Stretch back in a couple of weeks to ensure the medication is working as it should. This experience has been very different from the vet clinic we used for many years where we always came away feeling like they were trying to up sell you! Highly recommend this excellent practice!

I did my research when considering the adoption of a puppy born with brain damage. While she would need some special attention and assistance her condition was not degenerative and she could live a long and healthy life if given the chance. A very important consideration was finding a vet who understood what she did (and didn't) need and would work with me with her best interests always the first priority. Bella turned 5 years old this week and she's happy, healthy and thriving. Dr Skinner is the only vet she's ever been too and I'd like to say thank you for his kindness, wisdom and sage advise over the years. She blossomed.

This poor clinic has gone down hill ever since they moved from their location west of Coxwell on Queen. They modernized their new location but not their compassion. They now have boutique style atmosphere and therefore offer not even the smallest of advice for free. Dr Skinner as the task master sets all the fees and Dr Rowan his puppet follows along. If you are a regular spending money there often on your pets they roll out the red carpet for you. If you are a one pet owner who comes in on occasion they hardly notice when you enter the door except to offer you a bill for coming in.

Doctors Skinner and Rowland, and their staff, are the most compassionate and wonderful veterinary team I have ever encountered. I had just moved into the neighbourhood when my cat, Dante, became sick. I had a very similar situation to Abby R, where nothing we did to help him get better was working and we ended up in the clinic 2-3 times a week. Ultimately he had to be put down, but not for lack of trying or care. The doctors and their team did everything they could and for that I will be forever thankful. When the time came to put Dante down, Dr Rowland handled things in the most caring and patient manner. I wont hesitate to being my remaining cat, Olive, to them, and can't recommend them enough.

I just walked into Kew Beach Veterinary Hospital for the first time this morning to buy some special food you can only find at Vets offices. I really liked the clean and crisp feel of the office. The staff was very helpful and patient in answering my questions. The Dr. even spent a few minutes talking to me. The food that i needed was $0.50 less per can here than at another vet that i checked $1.65 vs $2.15!) Considering i have to buy alot of this stuff, that $0.50 helps alot!The location is great for me, right on Queen St. just east of Kingston Rd.I haven't yet booked any of my furry brood an appointment, but I definitely will!
