My wife and I adopted a 2yo male cat from the Aurora SPCA - and brought him in here to see Dr Jen. Dr Jen and her staff are just great. Dr Jen really took the time to answer all our questions. Even before seeing the staff, they were able to order our Hank his prescription diet food the SPCA suggested he stay on. They're very professional and accommodating. Dr Jen even helped us problem solve our other anxiety ridden cat we can't pick up and have great difficulty catching. Just a great experience with these folks overall. I've visited Woodbine Animal Clinic 3 times for my 2 cats. Staff is always cheerful and professional. My doctor (Ms. Woods) handles my cats in calm and confident manner. She is also a good listener, lets me finish my question and gives me a knowledgeable answer. I feel very lucky to be in their neighborhood. Read Less

We recently moved as well and have two cats. We've had emergencies and they've been nothing but open arms to both our pets. Angus recently gave us a scare and almost died. He was diagnosed with diabetes and had to stay at woodbine a few nights to keep an eye on him with an i.v. Everyone from Rachel the receptionist to the actual Vets and technicians were all amazing and so sweet. They allowed us to visit Angus while he was there, they gave us a private room with him and we're more than happy to answer all of our anxious questions. I've worked in the animal care industry for 10+ years. I've worked in different clinics and out of them all, I trust Woodbine with my pets. Their prices are fair and I have found the Drs more then caring. The front office staff is always so welcoming to my dog, he doesn't even get uncomfortable going there. We just recently started going to this office, we just moved to the area a year ago, so had to switch vets. We had a really great experience and they took good care of my dachshund. Terrible clinic. Visited twice now and both times left with a bad taste in my mouth. Its hard finding vets nowadays who actually still care about the animals and aren't just looking to throw more services at you for you to pay for. I'd like to believe they get into the business for the right reasons and somewhere along the way, they lose their way. Woodbine animal clinic is the same starting from your experience booking an appt with their receptionist who talks down to you for asking pricing to actually seeing the doc who just offers random tests and screenings which aren't even included in the $80 you pay to get in the door. An 'exam' to them is just feeling your dog and then heart rate. For actual checks like blood or stool you have to pay hundreds more. Hands down the best clinic in Toronto! Dr Littlejohn, Dr Woods and a great and caring staff have been looking after my many, many dogs and cats since my first Maltese had kennel cough in 1998! I have also brought teeny tiny foster kittens & foster dogs to be treated prior to adoption. Woodbine animal clinic is a warm and wonderful place with a knowledgable staff, from receptionist and kennel attendants to registered Vet technicians and top notch veterinarians. Very nice vets but one of them thought my really pregnant can wasn't pregnant and said I must be feeding her too much! The rest of the staff is miserable and the weekday receptionist is  quite rude,  gives veterinary advice (in a very arrogant way) when she's not a vet, and always seems to change the consultation price without asking the vet. Prices there are very high, too.I love Dr. Mason, but the prices and receptionist are now making me look elsewhere. Read Less

Dr Littlejohn is one of my very favorite vets - but I am NOT so impressed by the other vets in his clinic.  I repeat - NOT.Dr Littlejohn is a very experienced older vet and owner of the Woodbine Animal Clinic.  He was more candid with me than most vets, and I trust his opinion.BUT - if you are thinking of going to that clinic - you may want to make sure that HE is available.  I will only return to that clinic when I can see him. I love Woodbine animal clinic. Dr. Littlejohn and Dr Mason have treated more of my pets then I could name right now! They have helped with my animals when sick but also provided very compassionate euthanisia and aftercare. The staff are friendly and helpful and truely love animals! Highly reccommend! Read Less
