My bunny is a new patient of Wychwood Park Animal Hospital and I have received nothing but exceptional attentiveness and direct, honest answers with regard to the best choices for her care. I first came to them because I needed to have her spayed, and other vets specializing in rabbits quoted me with prices that were astronomical and outrageous. Thankfully, Dr. Levine doesn't need to charge a ridiculous sum because his small practice is about serving the animals, not maximizing profit like certain bougie vet clinics in the city *cough* High Park. Dr Levine saved mushu, I am so grateful for him and his staff, as they are caring and compassionate. Mushu became very ill quite suddenly and I took him to a 24 hour emergency hospital at 920 Yonge street where I sat for over two hours while they kept taking people who came in later saying they were critical without even looking at my cat. Dr Levine and his staff took extreme care of him and treated him quickly and aggressively and saved his life! They even called to check on him after he came home. Dr Levine and his staff cared for and loved him as much as I do. Dr Levine & the vet techs (shout out to Alison!) are absolutely wonderful. They provided me with different treatment options as well as made me feel very comfortable leaving my little guy with them overnight - twice! I got met by a doctor who not only explained everything she was doing, but then made me feel great about prognosis. She didn't push any extra services or products. She answered all of my questions. This is the best vet I've ever been to. I moved to North York and still bring my dogs here instead of finding a closer vet. Dr. Levine helps me make informed choices about my dogs care instead of pushing for extra treatments or vaccines to make money. There is a wonderful pragmatism I feel when walking into the Wychwood Park Animal Hospital.  In fact, if there was an animal Hospital in Communist Russia, this would be it.The waiting room has one bench, one desk, and one lady.  Most of the food they sell is kept in the back and the place isn't cluttered with Doggy travel bags, fancy leashes, or mohair sweaters.  In other words, Wychwood Park doesn't pretend to be something it isn't, nor does it profit from fancy little extras.  This is not to say that the place doesn't profit, all vets do, but at least it is not attempting to pull the wool over their clients' eyes in a big way.Dr. Levine, the house vet, is caring, honest, and above board.  What he lacks in bedside manner to this or that human he makes up for in his attention to the real clients - the animals.
