I am not the only one feel that they are taking advantage of your love to your dog to make money, especially when English is not your first language. By noticing some similar comments from google and vetrating websites, I had some hesitation to go to this vet. However, I still chose to go because its near to my home, and I would like to give it a go but end with extremely disappointing. The visiting reason was because my dog had eye infection, and the symptoms were obvious. Before I see the vet, I had roughly idea what was the problem of my dog and what kind of treatment I would expect, because my dog was suffering exactly the same situation 2 years ago. A female vet checked my dog’ eyes for less than 30 seconds and said my dog got eye infection. Then, she went into staff room, and her vet assistant provided me a treatment lists, which requested me to perform three tests on my dog, and the details of the treatment lists included: Examination ($106), Teat Test ($56), Fluorescein Test($56) ,Tonometry Test($121) and Estimation medicine ($100), and the total estimation bill over $500 which totally shocked me. My past vet experience tole me only Fluorescein Test is need. So, I asked the reason and purposes of the three tests and got the answers: Teat Test was to test if my dog had dry eye problem, Fluorescein Test was to test if my dog had eye injury, and Tonometry Test was to test eye pressure. So, I asked if the first and the third tests were necessary, because my last vet only request the 2nd test if they suspicious an eye infection. Besides, my dog obviously tears a lot currently because of her eye infection, and she had never had dry eye issue ever before. After a discussion with the vet assistant not the vet, I found out the 3rd test was only necessary when my dog had eye injury, but I haven’t been told this at the very first time, and I still didn’t understand why eye infection need to do the first test. Anyway, I signed on the treatment lists and wait outside. After 3-4 minutes, they returned my dog to me and asked me to wait for a moment. 1 minute later, the vet assistant took my dog back to the treat room with explanation that they didn’t test my dog temperature yet, which was ridiculous. I strongly doubt their professionalism and their honesty, because this kind of basic examination normally performed before you did anything, and I doubt they only charge client examination fee but not actually do any examination, and they did this time because I requested the examination report. When I second time see the vet, she said she didn’t perform Tonometry Test because she cannot completely see the entire of eyeball of my dog in the Fluorescein Test. My dog’s situation you had observed, what’s the point to perform the test if you claim you cannot see the entire eyeball, don’t even to mention about the Tonometry Test. The only exception was trying to rip off the customer. And this time she requested blood test because she would like to see my dog’s kidney was ok or not to take an eye drop for eye pain, and I refused the request because no trust exists based on the whole process. I left with a basic eye infection drops, $300 bills and full of anger. I STRONGLY warning the dog owners, please don’t go there if you really care about your dog, because unnecessary test not only waste your money but also might harm your dog. My dog showed very strong resistance to enter the test room again for body temperature, and I cannot imagine how they treat my dog without my presence. If you only interested in counting dollars, please don’t be a vet or a doctor, which need an empathy heart!! Read Less

I would give zero stars if I could. Dr burns is a horrible vet and the clinic went downhill, plus prices are too expensive compared to other local vets. Would not recommend, as our pets and several other pets have had their health declined since going here Read Less

Since 2005, I have brought 3 cats and 4 dogs to this clinic. I stopped coming here because it is all about the money to them. The cost of all the procedures and drugs is far more than at another veterinary clinic, I have started going to, which is further away. Once again, in an emergency, the showed their true colours, when I called on them for help in simply filling a prescription for my 18 year old dog. They were unable to provide the drugs my dog has been taking for 2 and 1/2 years, without doing a full examination, as they were unable to get the records from the other vet and wouldn't take a verbal confirmation from the other vet.
