Dr. G Puri was amazing! He is the best veterinarian I have ever been to. I have went to other vets in Maple and they have always done poor physical examinations on my dog whenever I had brought him in (I'm a medical student, so I know the value of a good physical exam). My dog was having dry eyes and an ulcer and Dr. Puri even did follow ups without charge (especially when no further treatment was required). I would never go to another vet again. Not good at all. Way overpriced for ear crop. Did very poor job. Ears are not the same. Dog was bleeding profusely. The cone they used no vet uses... Were told to have dog there by 9..didnt take her for cropping till after 3 and we picked up at 430. She sat there with no water or food. Staff was very very rude. Could hear a women in the back complaining that people were calling in to check on their pups. We didnt even see the vet... Horrible experience. Horrible staff. Horrible crop. Dirty place. I have mixed reviews about this place. vet is very knowledgeable. answers all questions you may have.the assistants there are very friendly. what I didnt like is they push you to buy what they want and even lie to you about products just so you buy what they want. they charge you more than originally quoted. prices are still decent thou. other bad experience I had is they gave my 25 lb dog medication for dogs of 25kg to 50kg. thank gd nothing happend yo my puppy but it could have been an another medication that could have killed him. so please double check what you take home from them. I was just at this location to pick up dog food for my puppy. I walked in and the place smelled horrible. All you could t smell was urnine and fecice. Dogs were barking out of control. As I was waiting for my food to be cashed out, i noticed that a ladyin the back, walked over and went to one of the crates, grabbed a dog by the knecj and through him on the floor. I was beyond shocked. As the receptionist came to cash me out, she asked me if I was a client. I responded to her with “ no, not after what I just witness that lady doing to that animal”. She smirked and took my debit card. This is not the way animals should be treated. Please do not take your babies to this vet as they clearly do not care about the wellness of your babies. Thank you! I am so disappointed with this clinic. Disgraceful veterinarians. It's appauling how many times in the past month I have mentioned this clinic to pet stores, breeders, animal hospitals, friends, co workers and specialists and they ALL have said "you do not take your pet there do you????" I stated yes I do... and i only thought it was me at first but after reading all these reviews..Dr.Puri and his side kick vet do not even have licenses to practice. By all means, these people come from countries where animals are considered rodents - NOT PETS. How did i ever let my pet be seen by these horrific people. On several occasions, i went in to have my male pug's nails to be trimmed. Every time, I specifically said "be careful her wick on her nail is long, you can only cut it a bit then it must be filled down" Makes sense to any normal human being - ITS COMMON SENSE. Yet... each time i heard my dog squeal and cry.. she came out bleeding every single damn time... how much that broke my heart...this is something that happened every time, not once, twice, SEVERAL... what is so hard and why the lack of common knowledge - you don't need to know this info to be a vet JESUS CHRIST. I stopped taking my vet here after about 6-7 times this happened.. and then i started to hear the horror stories from others... FAKE is what Dr. Puri is - he will have a smile on his face when you bring your pet in and give him a little rub.. and that's all - no love, no compassion, and i am almost certain he does not have pets of his own.... people like him don't have PETS, and if they do.. its animal cruelty to it's fullest. He is SICK. Gets off on seeing animals being hurt and hurting them. DO NOT GO HERE EVER - it will scar you and your pet forever... no wonder my dog used to screech front he top of his lungs and cry and not want to exit the car literally as soon as we pulled into the parking lot.. who knows what else they did to him .. I'm disgusting - and someone needs to do something about this.. Dr. Puri you won't last long doing what you are doing.. all these things catch up to you.. maybe not tomorrow, maybe not in a week or a month .. maybe in years.... and then you'll regret this animal cruelty - you are a disgrace to vets and you should be disgraced of yourself. I wrote a review 4 months ago but forgot to post a photo. Here she is at 6 months old and about 3ish months after getting her ears cropped here. We went with a shorter crop, not quite medium and it only took about 2 months of posting on and off. I asked for between a short and medium. Very happy with the results! Changing my review from five star to one. I believe this place is a scam and does the least possible to diagnose your pet in order to push useless meds and product on you until the last possible moment when they finally say oh we can do this kind of blood test to figure out said problem. I'm currently looking for another clinic that will look out for my pets interest. Read Less

I'd give 0 stars if I could. worst vet ever. does not care for the animals at all. took our 12 week old puppy to get it's second shot. the vet then went in to show us how to trim the nails and purposely cut 1 nail back too far and had to cauterize him. our puppy was screaming in Unnecessary pain. will never go back Read Less

Great vet! I've used Dr.Kahlon countless of times. As a breeder, I trust that he will not overcharge me like same vets or suggested meaningless testing Honest vet, honest advise and great prices. we have been taking our three dogs and my sons cat to this vet for over years. We alway got excellent treatment. Our oldest do had a big surgery and both doctors and staff were very caring. The staff sometimes can be quick over the phone, because they are busy, but they are the best with the animals and that is what counts. I recommend this clinic. Read Less

Called to make an appointment to have my dogs ears cropped. The lady I spoke with on the phone was very hostile with me. She made my appointment and asked me for a deposit to hold my spot. We don't have credit cards and we live an hour away and wasn't driving there to put a deposit down. She than told me "well we will leave your name in here but if someone calls with a deposit we have to give them the slot". Uh ok so your basically telling me that we could drive all the way there for nothing? I have never heard any great things about this place and I'm heart broken that dr staples has retired! I trust him to pieces! I got a very bad vibe just from a phone call. I can imagine me walking into this place and walking right out and wasting my time! I don't recommend this place to ANYONE! Drove from Welland to here yesterday to have my dog's ears cropped. Our only choices for this procedure were here and London. The overall visit was ok but nothing more. The staff seem overworked and too busy to care. Our appointment was for 9:00am and the receptionist didn't even talk to us until 9:30am. Before the procedure the one staff member took us in a room to go over everything. Wasn't reassuring or sympathetic at all. I was visibly nervous about leaving my puppy and the whole thing but they are so busy your pet is just a number. They said they would call any time between 2:00pm and 5:00pm. They called at 3:30pm and without updating me on my puppy, simply wanted to know how I was making payment. Upon pick up, a different staff member went over after care and medication instructions with me (she was nicer than the first one). As soon as we sat in the car I noticed my puppy's one ear dripping blood. We quickly returned to ask if this was normal and she wrapped it for us, which in my opinion should have been done in the first place. We are returning next week to have the stiches removed, however if my local vet can do this then we won't be returning here again. Read Less
