After 6 weeks of incompetent care by a vet just up the road from Cheltenham we brought our sick and dying dog to them for help. The news wasn't good but they did what they could for us. Sage was given...
After 6 weeks of incompetent care by a vet just up the road from Cheltenham we brought our sick and dying dog to them for help. The news wasn't good but they did what they could for us. Sage was given adequate pain relief but the bone cancer that was killing him meant there was to be no happy outcome. We spent one last night with our family member and the next day we put him to sleep.
To Dr. Kirkham who first saw him, thank you for your thorough and gentle examination of Sage and for prescribing him the pain meds that got him through the last night as we slept beside him.
To Dr. Laura Kupers who guided us through the euthanization process with a gentleness for Sage and an unbelievable amount of compassion for myself and my wife we will never forget you. Dr. Kupers you were born, destined to walk this path in life.
I have dealt with many veterinary practices in my life and I can say without hesitation or doubt that if you love your animal then Cheltenham is the clinic to bring your loved one. Even the front desk staff are a remarkable group.

After 6 weeks of incompetent care by a vet just up the road from Cheltenham we brought our sick and dying dog to them for help. The news wasn't good but they did what they could for us. Sage was given adequate pain relief but the bone cancer that was killing him meant there was to be no happy outcome. We spent one last night with our family member and the next day we put him to sleep.
To Dr. Kirkham who first saw him, thank you for your thorough and gentle examination of Sage and for prescribing him the pain meds that got him through the last night as we slept beside him.
To Dr. Laura Kupers who guided us through the euthanization process with a gentleness for Sage and an unbelievable amount of compassion for myself and my wife we will never forget you. Dr. Kupers you were born, destined to walk this path in life.

Dr. Cara Lategan was wonderful with two nervous dogs and by the end of the visit the dogs were wagging their tails! I have been going to this clinic for a approximately just over 1 year. All the veterinarians are fantastic. I am a registered breeder and they have supported all of my dogs even in the most challenging circumstances. There support and expertise are very much appreciated and I am happy to be a part of their clientele. Also their pricing is very reasonable too.
In regards to the front desk, other then 1 individual (who is so so at the front and maybe should not be in customer service) however all the others people at the front desk staff is very customer service oriented...friendly and caring.

We adopted four sick kittens from an irresponsible pet owner. This veterinarian practice did an amazing job caring for our kittens when they were at death's door. They exceeded my expectations. Today, too many veterinarians are focused on money and are too business oriented. Cheltenham put the care of these very sick kittens before profit. They charged a fair price and did everything possible. Grace, Scooter, Gabe, Charles Little, and I are overjoyed that because of your care they beat the odds. Rest in peace little guy who was too sick and couldn't turn around. I know my other fur kids who crossed rainbow bridge before you are playing with you now.

I can't thank Dr. David Kirkham and his lovely tech enough!! Our indoor cat managed to sneak outside and get herself wedged inside the motor of our tenants car. After several hours of trying to get her out I called Cheltenham Veterinary Clinic in desperation. We had already tried coaxing with food and treats. We even called a tow truck and had the car lifted but nothing worked. The folks at Cheltenham Vet Centre have been giving our pets extraordinary care for years and I thought they might have a suggestion. After we went through the usual things to try they said they were going to come over and have a look themselves. They came over and tried to wiggle her out to no avail. These wonderful folks were able to sedate her through a very small opening just big enough to get your hand in. With the help of some wonderful neighbours and some heavy duty jacks, up went the car again. The neighbours were able to reach the cat from above and try to dislodge her while Dr. David wiggled her free from the bottom. Our sweet kitty is safe and unharmed after her ordeal. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm sorry I can't remember the techs name I was stressed out and trying not to cry when we were introduced.

I don't think there are enough words or space here for me to say how much I appreciate the clinic staff especially Dr David and Dr. Sara. They have been taking care of my 4 very sick kittens and taking time from their own family to look after my sick kittens even giving me updates daily and sometimes twice a day. I will never take my pets anywhere else. These two people are Angels and my family will be forever grateful for everything they are doing for my kittens. I have been to many veterinarian clinics but have never been to one so amazing. I am glad they are a teaching clinic because they are the standard of care.

By far the best clinic I've experienced in years! Your pet is given the most phenomenal care. At no point are you judged for the choices and decisions you make on behalf of your pet. You will never meet a vet more passionate about his job than Dr. Kirkham. He is forthright about your pets health and care options. We have been bringing our pets here for years. The staff are excellent. The veterinarians are very caring. And the pricing is extremely reasonable. We've had to put our pet on specialty food. They always have at least one bag on hand. I really like Cheltenham Veterinary Clinic. I highly recommend this Clinic to anyone who is seeking a vet.

They are in the business to care for the animals and to not line their pockets with money from un-needed test etc. Highly recommended. Worth the drive.

Dr. Cara Lategan was wonderful with two nervous dogs and by the end of the visit the dogs were wagging their tails! I have been going to this clinic for a approximately just over 1 year. All the veterinarians are fantastic. I am a registered breeder and they have supported all of my dogs even in the most challenging circumstances. There support and expertise are very much appreciated and I am happy to be a part of their clientele. Also their pricing is very reasonable too.
In regards to the front desk, other then 1 individual (who is so so at the front and maybe should not be in customer service) however all the others people at the front desk staff is very customer service oriented...friendly and caring.

We adopted four sick kittens from an irresponsible pet owner. This veterinarian practice did an amazing job caring for our kittens when they were at death's door. They exceeded my expectations. Today, too many veterinarians are focused on money and are too business oriented. Cheltenham put the care of these very sick kittens before profit. They charged a fair price and did everything possible. Grace, Scooter, Gabe, Charles Little, and I are overjoyed that because of your care they beat the odds. Rest in peace little guy who was too sick and couldn't turn around. I know my other fur kids who crossed rainbow bridge before you are playing with you now.

We have been going to Cheltenham for about 6 years ever since we got our guinea pig and this clinic is outstanding. Everyone from the reception staff to all of the doctors have been great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Cheltenham is quite a drive for us from Toronto, but we wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

I can't thank Dr. David Kirkham and his lovely tech enough!! Our indoor cat managed to sneak outside and get herself wedged inside the motor of our tenants car. After several hours of trying to get her out I called Cheltenham Veterinary Clinic in desperation. We had already tried coaxing with food and treats. We even called a tow truck and had the car lifted but nothing worked. The folks at Cheltenham Vet Centre have been giving our pets extraordinary care for years and I thought they might have a suggestion. After we went through the usual things to try they said they were going to come over and have a look themselves. They came over and tried to wiggle her out to no avail. These wonderful folks were able to sedate her through a very small opening just big enough to get your hand in. With the help of some wonderful neighbours and some heavy duty jacks, up went the car again. The neighbours were able to reach the cat from above and try to dislodge her while Dr. David wiggled her free from the bottom. Our sweet kitty is safe and unharmed after her ordeal. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm sorry I can't remember the techs name I was stressed out and trying not to cry when we were introduced.

I don't think there are enough words or space here for me to say how much I appreciate the clinic staff especially Dr David and Dr. Sara. They have been taking care of my 4 very sick kittens and taking time from their own family to look after my sick kittens even giving me updates daily and sometimes twice a day. I will never take my pets anywhere else. These two people are Angels and my family will be forever grateful for everything they are doing for my kittens. I have been to many veterinarian clinics but have never been to one so amazing. I am glad they are a teaching clinic because they are the standard of care.

By far the best clinic I've experienced in years! Your pet is given the most phenomenal care. At no point are you judged for the choices and decisions you make on behalf of your pet. You will never meet a vet more passionate about his job than Dr. Kirkham. He is forthright about your pets health and care options. The entire staff at Cheltenham Veterinary Clinic are kind and compassionate people. The rates and fees are fair and reasonable, well worth the drive from Toronto....for ALL of the above and MORE.
