I have been blessed with love and unfortunately the loss of six cats. My travels have taken me to various clinics, however, not until Dr. Cam and Dr, Holly took over did I find the best. When we accept the responsibility of a pet we must realize there are costs involved and it shocks us all but why doesn't it when we visit our Family Doctor. It is because the government is involved so we are lucky. My cats were given the best of care always. Everyone in this clinic, reception, techs and doctors are the most caring and compassionate people I have ever dealt with. are cruel to animals they set a prescription for my dog that is an over dose bye given him 100mg Doxycycline and printed on bottle take every 12 hours and telling my wife every 12 hours as well when it should of bin every 24 hours my dog weight is 19.4 pounds it goes by weight and size of animal my dog should of got 50mg every 12 hours and also gave him a injection cerenia 10mg Read Less

Dr. Holly Spring has GOT to be the sweetest and smartest Veterinarian! Holly and Dr. Cam Lindsay and their staff are so considerate and professional. We moved to Barrie about ten years ago from the Bahamas, with two small Maltese pups. Holly took us right under her wing. Since moving to Wasaga beach, our now, Maltese and Golden Retriever travel from Barrie for any medical needs to see Holly and/or Cam. Their staff are thorough in reminding us of upcoming appointments and treat our fur babies like one of their own! Thank you for always making yourself available Holly to our pups' needs. My boyfriend and I had a very bad experience with this vet and will not be returning. While I am sure she is a great person and the cat rescue is admirable, this review is based on her vet practice only. We have two dogs and a cat. My GSD goes to another vet, however our mastiff pup has been getting all his veterinary care at this office. Our first big issue we had was the vet doubling him up on his rabies vaccine... (apparently his file was lost) which caused him become very sick with diarrhea the day after. I questioned my boyfriend and him being a first time pet owner, did not realize that dogs only get ONE rabies vaccine per year. Our pup got better and we continued to use this vet. Until recently we brought our cat and we were told he had fleas, worms AND a tape worm. (which is odd because we did not request testing....) My cat is an indoor cat and has been treated for fleas before we brought him home at Christmas. We have never noticed either animal itching, ever. We took our dog to another vet and he was deemed perfectly healthy, (no fleas, worms etc.) how two animals that live under the same roof don't BOTH have fleas is something I've never heard of. In saying this, I am under the impression that this vet either over medicates in order to make more money or she is very unorganized and mixed up his file. Either way, it is unacceptable. Best vet in Simcoe County. Runs a cat rescue with personal funds. Just a wonderful, compassionate, empathetic Doctor. I drive from innisfil to see her for all our cat and dog needs. Met this wonderful Vet when looking for a kitten, and have continued going ever since. Great team of employees too.
