We moved to the Pelham area and inquired where to fine a qualified, caring vet with emergency services that was also ethical and reasonable in there approach to care/testing/support and pricing of our animal health needs. Welland Animal Hospital was the recommendation frequently given by the community.The staff is knowledgeable and sensitive to the health and welfare of our dogs and us (their humans). The Vets have a professional but relaxed calming deminour. We were very relieved that products and procedures are not pushed as an 'up sell' approach. The site is a bit small and isn't flashy but the CARE goes ABOVE and BEYOND with QUALITY and SERVICE. That is the most important review for making the decision for a valued Veterinarian.

Dr. Karner was amazing at offering alternatives that we followed through with and worked. The staff is so friendly, compassionate, professional and wonderful to deal with. My husband and I are fairly new to Welland.
We brought our little Diva Todo to this Animal Hospital quite a few times. She always got the best care possible. The staff are wonderful and the Vets are great; very knowledgeable attentive and gentle with animals. Unfortunately, our little Diva passed on at 17 years of age. The Animal Hospital was very caring and kind. They sent us a beautiful card signed by the staff.
We now have another dog; anyone with a dog can understand the heartbreak and loss of losing a pet. We now bring our new little one here.
The great care carries on.

I absolutely love the Welland Animal Hospital!! They take such good care of Bugsy (and me!) when I bring him in. I have total trust and confidence in their care of him. They explain everything thoroughly and answer any and all questions that I have, regardless of how ridiculous they are. They have been so helpful with him over the last 15 years. At times, the vet has even followed up with phone calls just to check in to see how he is doing. I also can't even begin to say how thankful I am of the ladies that work there. Some of the issues that they have had to deal with when helping my little demonic cat are unbelievable and they do it all with a smile on their face!! And lastly, let's not forget Clark...the cutest clinic cat ever!

My husband has been taking our Siberian Husky to the clinic for 6 years now since we moved to Welland. We are so pleased with the friendliness and service that the Dr. and his staff provide and most importantly our dog loves going there. Aside from the treats he receives when going for his yearly checkup and needles he is honestly treated with such amazing care. We would definitely recommend Welland Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a Vet for their family member.

I am on the older side for having my first dog, a German Shepherd mix. Asking around, a few friends mentioned Welland Animal Hospital as the place they take their pet. I gave them a try, this was back 10 1/2 years ago and would not trust anyone else with my girl. From the first time I opened the door, both Reba and myself liked what we saw, heard and smelled (which was a very mild antiseptic). The staff was excellent beyond anything I could hope for. The two Vets I found were extraordinary. Everyone by far surpassed my and Reba's expectations. In all these years I can not think of any time that I would not have given them a 5 out of 5 excellence grading. Thank You Welland Animal Hospital.

I have been depending on the veterinary care provided by the Welland Animal Hospital for 50 years now. I have regrettably said goodbye to retiring vets and staff and the new generations have earned my trust and respect. They know that for us, every problem with our furry children is critical in that moment, and that guiding the owner is almost as important as the quick professional help our pets get. Over the years they have helped me say goodbye to a lot of pets with compassion, a hug, and even an offer to drive me home when they didn't think I was ok to drive. They have also treated a lot of emergencies, such as bee bites on the eyes, a coyote attack on my dog, crying animals where I didn't know the reason for the pain, broken bones, diabetes, cancer, and the list goes on. That simple phone call got us help immediately. I get reminders for their routine inoculations and preventative treatments to keep my pets as healthy as I can. Over the years I have tried other vets recommended by friends, but always return to my safety zone with my vet. Trust is a wonderful thing and I thank all of the staff at the Welland Animal Hospital for caring for all of us.

I have had three dogs in the last seven year given to the help of Welland Animal Hospital.The first two were wonderfully looked after and lived much longer and happier lives. When it was time for them to go the attention was something to be proud of.
The last is still with me. He does not need the attention the others did. They all have been older adopted dogs, but this current " friend" does not need the attention, but gets it anyhow.
Like many things in Niagara , animals care is special, and the Welland Animal Hospital is at the top of the list.

Welland Animal Hospital has the 2 most amazing vets and staff anyone person could hope for when dealing with a sick animal or a healthy one just going in for a check up. My niece is a Vet who recommends many people in the area who are looking for a Vet, everyone has gone over and above to treat my very sick dog, they always looked out for my boy Wilson! My new dog Cookie loves the care she is getting. No one has ever treated my dogs without explaining the situation and what form of action would be taken. Very comfortable with the cost also, one of the more reasonable Hospital. Thank you team for always being there for me.

The Welland Animal Hospital came to my need when my cat needed it. They were wonderful with me and my cat and tried other ways to help him rather than jumping to surgery that other vets were recommending. I cannot imagine going anywhere else now that I have taken my little guy here. The only vet I have ever been to where they allow you to spend as much time as you would like while your pet is staying in their care. They went above and beyond. Thank you for not giving up and for being a wonderful place where everyone in the Welland and Niagara Region should be taking their pets.

WAH is a great place to take you're family pet. All of the staff, from the front desk to the vets are welcoming, caring and professional. It's a clean and pleasant facility as well. They truly care for your animal and their well being. I've been taking our Golden there since she was a pup and now she's six. When she was 1 1/2 she became very ill (life threatening) and although they as well as the Guelph Animal Hospital, were baffled by what was making her so ill, the staff at the WAH kept us informed and acted as our liaison with Guelph...at no cost! Phone calls from the vet after hours, explanations of procedures and genuine concern is what we received. Our Golden recovered and I will never forget all the support we received from them!

We moved to the Pelham area and inquired where to fine a qualified, caring vet with emergency services that was also ethical and reasonable in there approach to care/testing/support and pricing of our animal health needs. Welland Animal Hospital was the recommendation frequently given by the community.The staff is knowledgeable and sensitive to the health and welfare of our dogs and us (their humans). The Vets have a professional but relaxed calming deminour. We were very relieved that products and procedures are not pushed as an 'up sell' approach. The site is a bit small and isn't flashy but the CARE goes ABOVE and BEYOND with QUALITY and SERVICE. That is the most important review for making the decision for a valued Veterinarian.

Dr. Karner was amazing at offering alternatives that we followed through with and worked. The staff is so friendly, compassionate, professional and wonderful to deal with. We brought our little Diva Todo to this Animal Hospital quite a few times. She always got the best care possible. The staff are wonderful and the Vets are great; very knowledgeable attentive and gentle with animals. Unfortunately, our little Diva passed on at 17 years of age. The Animal Hospital was very caring and kind. They sent us a beautiful card signed by the staff.
We now have another dog; anyone with a dog can understand the heartbreak and loss of losing a pet. We now bring our new little one here.
The great care carries on.

I absolutely love the Welland Animal Hospital!! They take such good care of Bugsy (and me!) when I bring him in. I have total trust and confidence in their care of him. They explain everything thoroughly and answer any and all questions that I have, regardless of how ridiculous they are. They have been so helpful with him over the last 15 years. At times, the vet has even followed up with phone calls just to check in to see how he is doing. I also can't even begin to say how thankful I am of the ladies that work there. Some of the issues that they have had to deal with when helping my little demonic cat are unbelievable and they do it all with a smile on their face!! And lastly, let's not forget Clark...the cutest clinic cat ever!

I am on the older side for having my first dog, a German Shepherd mix. Asking around, a few friends mentioned Welland Animal Hospital as the place they take their pet. I gave them a try, this was back 10 1/2 years ago and would not trust anyone else with my girl. From the first time I opened the door, both Reba and myself liked what we saw, heard and smelled (which was a very mild antiseptic). The staff was excellent beyond anything I could hope for. The two Vets I found were extraordinary. Everyone by far surpassed my and Reba's expectations. In all these years I can not think of any time that I would not have given them a 5 out of 5 excellence grading. Thank You Welland Animal Hospital.

I have been depending on the veterinary care provided by the Welland Animal Hospital for 50 years now. I have regrettably said goodbye to retiring vets and staff and the new generations have earned my trust and respect. They know that for us, every problem with our furry children is critical in that moment, and that guiding the owner is almost as important as the quick professional help our pets get. Over the years they have helped me say goodbye to a lot of pets with compassion, a hug, and even an offer to drive me home when they didn't think I was ok to drive. They have also treated a lot of emergencies, such as bee bites on the eyes, a coyote attack on my dog, crying animals where I didn't know the reason for the pain, broken bones, diabetes, cancer, and the list goes on. That simple phone call got us help immediately. I get reminders for their routine inoculations and preventative treatments to keep my pets as healthy as I can. Over the years I have tried other vets recommended by friends, but always return to my safety zone with my vet. Trust is a wonderful thing and I thank all of the staff at the Welland Animal Hospital for caring for all of us.

I have had three dogs in the last seven year given to the help of Welland Animal Hospital.The first two were wonderfully looked after and lived much longer and happier lives. When it was time for them to go the attention was something to be proud of.
The last is still with me. He does not need the attention the others did. They all have been older adopted dogs, but this current " friend" does not need the attention, but gets it anyhow.
Like many things in Niagara , animals care is special, and the Welland Animal Hospital is at the top of the list.

Welland Animal Hospital has the 2 most amazing vets and staff anyone person could hope for when dealing with a sick animal or a healthy one just going in for a check up. My niece is a Vet who recommends many people in the area who are looking for a Vet, everyone has gone over and above to treat my very sick dog, they always looked out for my boy Wilson! My new dog Cookie loves the care she is getting. No one has ever treated my dogs without explaining the situation and what form of action would be taken. Very comfortable with the cost also, one of the more reasonable Hospital. Thank you team for always being there for me.

The Welland Animal Hospital came to my need when my cat needed it. They were wonderful with me and my cat and tried other ways to help him rather than jumping to surgery that other vets were recommending. I cannot imagine going anywhere else now that I have taken my little guy here. The only vet I have ever been to where they allow you to spend as much time as you would like while your pet is staying in their care. They went above and beyond. Thank you for not giving up and for being a wonderful place where everyone in the Welland and Niagara Region should be taking their pets.

WAH is a great place to take you're family pet. All of the staff, from the front desk to the vets are welcoming, caring and professional. It's a clean and pleasant facility as well. They truly care for your animal and their well being. I've been taking our Golden there since she was a pup and now she's six. When she was 1 1/2 she became very ill (life threatening) and although they as well as the Guelph Animal Hospital, were baffled by what was making her so ill, the staff at the WAH kept us informed and acted as our liaison with Guelph...at no cost! Phone calls from the vet after hours, explanations of procedures and genuine concern is what we received. Our Golden recovered and I will never forget all the support we received from them!
