Tim Mason, In light of the email received from you, stating that neither you; Tim Mason, Dr. Hayley King, nor the staff at your hospital will be providing further care for Simon, as your suggestion to seek an alternative veterinary facility to provide care for him ( my golden retriever). I strongly suggest that you revise your mission statement that" you are a leader in client relations". all this on the heels of the loss of Dallas our 8 year old Golden. Not a word or message of sympathy or compassion. Well over 10 years of bringing our dogs all three to your business. to make this clear we requested the records of our dogs care in order to make sure we had a second option on the health of our dog Simon , so we don't suffer another devastating heartbreaking loss again . We started taking our bulldog Winnie to BSAH from the time she was 8 weeks old in early 2007 till she passed at the ripe old age of 13 this past December. The doctors and staff were always great with Winnie and always took care of her, putting her health and safety first. They were great at recommendations and not pushing anything that was not necessary, always making sure we had all the info we needed. They would also call to check up on how she was doing after any visits that were not her routine annual checkups. I would recommend them and we will be taking our new puppy to this vet clinic, whenever we decide that we're ready for a new puppy. Read Less

Staff were not able to retrieve a simple blood sample from my cat over a 45 minute window. They shaved parts of his neck, as well as his hind leg and continued to jab him until my husband had to step ... Read More
Staff were not able to retrieve a simple blood sample from my cat over a 45 minute window. They shaved parts of his neck, as well as his hind leg and continued to jab him until my husband had to step in and ask them to stop. At no point did they try to provide him hydration, as his current veterinarian has pointed out would has assisted. After accomplishing NOTHING, they offered a one day sample of a medication for him to try, then invoiced me $15 for the one pill. The total visit, which didn't accomplish ANYTHING was $300 that my husband paid while I took my cat to the car. After looking over bill at home and contacting the vet about the price of the medication "sample", they explained that even though they promoted it as a sample, there is in fact a dispensing fee, and had we have purchased a prescription, the cost would have been around $0.15 a pill! Please do not visit this vet clinic! They will take your money even when they cannot provide the services invoiced. There are many other clinics within Durham Region, and I would rather drive an extra 5 minutes so my cat can receive proper care than ever step foot back into that office! Read Less

Our dog had a ruptured bladder. The doctors at Brock Street helped us do the surgery for our dog to save our dogs life, and it was successful. By doing this surgery they saved us thousands of dollars from going to a larger veterinary in Toronto. Thank you Brock Street Hospital Read Less

The doctors and staff were always great with Winnie and always took care of her, putting her health and safety first. Staff were not able to retrieve a simple blood sample from my cat over a 45 minute window.
