Ballantrae Animal Hospital caters to both those wishing a Holistic approach as their primary health care, and also to those who prefer a more Conventional approach. It is our belief that animal health is best served by a combination of both Conventional and Alternative medicine. Our goal is to maintain health in companion animals through physical, mental and emotional well being.

I had to take my dog elsewhere after Dr. Hacking retired and Dr. Jordan moved to Calgary. The Association that took over this animal hospital was in the care of two or more Vets. I was never told that Dr. Jordan had gone before I took my dog in for her annual checkup and the Vet whowas there when I went in was not someone I felt cared much about the animals as much as he liked my money. Therefore I have moved on and found someone I trust and feel confident will look after my pet's health.Things went downhill after Dr. Hacking retired and that's too bad.

Was looking for contact info for this vet office (didnt have phone on me) and was surprised when I came across negative reviews. Have taken my dog Pepper there since we got her (all shots, was fixed) ...
Was looking for contact info for this vet office (didnt have phone on me) and was surprised when I came across negative reviews. Have taken my dog Pepper there since we got her (all shots, was fixed) and have always had a great experience. Priced well and staff always helpful and knowledgeable. Have referred them to others also.

Do NOT go to this animal hospital!!! The staff are very caring and they will take good care of your animal. But one of the vets there significantly OVERCHARGED me. I complained to Dr. Malik but he not respond to any communication. I reported him to the Ontario College of Veterinarians and his response was "That vet has left. Not my problem". He appears to have forgotten that I paid HIS clinic NOT the vet in question. He is unethical. Don't give him your business.

Dr. Jordan has gone above and beyond with my pet companions. I will never forget his concern, compassion and dedication to his clients when I called him during his vacation for guidance when it was necessary to put my beloved Malka down. Dr. Jordan is the epitome of a "country doctor" who makes himself available and clearly provides honest counsel. It is not about the almighty dollar, rather it is about what is best for his clients...no more, no less. I only wish he could be cloned. Supported by and attentive and welcoming staff, I highly recommend this doctor and hospital.

Dr. Jordan is a gem - kind, very helpful and forthcoming with discussion and very gentle with animals. Conservative and honest.Staff are fun and bubbly!Highly recommend!
