I have written a positive review before, but feel compelled to add to it. Town and Country continues to impress me, even after using their services for over 30 years. They are so quick to respond! I recently had an emergency with our pup, and they made time to see us right away. Dr. Melissa Pinto saw her, and spent over an hour with her, testing and making a careful diagnosis, with input from Dr. Brian. She followed up later that night and on the following day. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and all interactions with them are positive. Well done, Town and Country, and thank you.

The best animal hospital ever. The staff is knowledgeable, and very compassionate.
A few years back,my cat had kittens, I had trouble finding good homes for them, when they became 6 months old, and the vet realized I was in a pickle, I had 3 kittens, to spay/neuter, and needles. Very expensive, he offered ( I never asked) to do it for half price.
I will be indebted to these guys forever. Such kindness.

Just a quick note to say how disappointed and sad I was by this vet office. Our cat of 10 years passed away suddenly at night - no clinics were open. So we carefully and lovingly wrapped her in blankets and put her in her carrier, she was left in our basement until the next morning. Our reg clinic in Claremont is closed for surgeries on Fridays so we came here to have her cremated. I fully expected to get a print of her paws as we did with our reg clinic when her brother passed away. I was shocked and saddened to find out that they did not do this. My husband did not have the luxury of time and was also upset by her passing so he left her here to be cremated. Both my cats passed within a year and half of each other. My plan of having their prints tattooed is now gone and I am heartbroken that I have one set of prints but not another. A word of advice - losing a pet is hard, don't make it more difficult especially when its sudden - it wouldn't have been much of an effort for you to make a print just to comfort my family.

No other vet clinic comes close to Town and Country Animal Hospital. Having recently switched out from a horrible vet in Vaughan, I felt rushed out and left with barely any attention given to my puppy. Town and Country restores my faith in how a vet clinic should be. From the start, the clinic felt like home, the reception staff made me feel welcomed and taken care of. I couldn't express enough how much compassion and love they showed my puppy. On my first visit to Dr. Peter, he was knowledgeable, gave me great insight, actually took his time to check on my puppy, and didn't push any unnecessary meds/insurance/check-ups. You could tell from the very start that he truly cares for animals. This clinic is definitely comes highly recommended, I couldn't be any happier with their services, and I look forward to coming in every single time.

All the vets here are very caring and only want to help you and your pets. All my experiences here have been worth the longer drive. Dr. Brendon and Dr. Brian are very easy and nice to deal with and have been able to help my beloved dog in every emergency. Dr. Peter can be a little pushy but is very knowledgeable. Only downfall is the price can be a bit high but they try to help you out where they can and won't do any testing they don't think is necessary

I took my cat in, because he had been vomiting for 3 days non stop, the vet saw him, and said that he needed to take an X ray, he took the cat upstairs and brought him back with a single picture X ray ... he couldn't diagnose him, so he said that he will call me the next day after reviewing the X ray with another doctor. Then, of course we went to pay for the service and guess what? they charged us almost 500 bucks for the visit!!!! really? What a ripoff! And of course they didn't call me the next day! They didn't care about my cat, they only cared about my money, and after they got it, they forgot about it. I will never go back!!

Every visit to Town & Country has been worth the drive from Toronto to Stouffville. I first visited the hospital several years ago to get a second opinion on whether to agree to an operation I was doubtful about and was advised not to proceed after a biopsy was taken. I have been going there ever since because my dog has not been subjected to invasive and unnecessary tests which cause undo stress. The depth of knowledge and years of combined expertise from all three Veterinarians is unsurpassed and so I will continue to bring my dog here because of the the superfine level of care.

They are there for you 24/7 in case of emergency instead of going to the late night clinics that don't necessarily care as much as the $. The whole staff is friendly, caring and concerned with the well being of your pet. I cannot recommend them enough!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the service we have received at Town & Country. All three of our dogs have been well taken care of for years at this clinic.
A couple months ago, we had to take advantage of the 24/7 service. Dr. Brendon answered the call right away. He was able to walk us through what we needed to do to possibly save our dog who had eaten something that could have caused him great harm. He was a godsend and just what we needed that night.
We also have a puppy who Dr. Brian was able to diagnosis despite never having seen the illness except in textbooks. He has worked with us to get the puppy to a comfortable situation and to treat him on an ongoing basis. Our calls for help have been answered right away and the service has been amazing!
Thank you Town & Country Vet Clinic for keeping our furbabies healthy!

Their care for the animals is genuine: their love obvious. Dr. Peter asked me to let him know how the cat makes out. These vets are thorough, skilled, knowledgeable and very very kind. My husband and I have combined over 80 years of dog experience and have never come across a clinic that has such experienced, excellent and accessible veterinary staff.

This place is a cash grab. Services are 30% more expensive than other vets and 80% less efficient. I brought my dog and cat here and they were not able to diagnose the issues. I ended up going to my regular downtown clinic 55kms away just in time to save my pets with the correct diagnosis.
Stay away guys. Their 4-5 star reviews are mostly bogus. On Yelp they are 3 stars (Google accounts are easier to fake whereas on Yelp it's hardier to create fake accounts).
Like some of the locals in Stouffville they are racist and pretend to be nice to minorities. Stay away! They charge for double visits when they promise not to for the next time you show up.

Hands down, the most awesome veterinary team on the planet! Town & Country Animal Hospital truly is the best there is in animal care (the key word being "care"). The vets and the staff are warm, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable, helpful and accessible. I love that I can call anytime, day or night, even after hours, and receive trusted advice. And appointments are never rushed. The vets take their time to talk to you; to answer all your questions thoroughly. I've never left an appointment feeling uneasy or unsure. And I love that the staff are so wonderful and accommodating, too! They all make my pug feel special and loved, even though she can be a pain in the butt when she visits the vet!! Stouffville is truly lucky to have TCAH! Thank you for everything!! I wouldn't trust my fur baby to anyone else!

My family has been taking our pets here for about 4 years now.. this is by far our favorite veterinary clinic. Brian and Brendan are both amazing vets.. and very good , compassionate people. Brian is honest and will tell you his opinion.. Brian took my brothers sick cat home with him over night to ensure he was okay and could monitor him. When we had to put our dog down when he got very sick, Briane sent us a card and made a donation in our pets name. Brendan took care of my kitten when he needed surgery .. my boyfriend and I could not afford to pay for it up front, so we were offered a payment plan. All staff members are so friendly and compassionate and go out of their way to make you and your pet comfortable. The nurses / office staff are very knowledgeable. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for vets who actually care about your pets wellbeing.

One star is still too much for this sorry excuse of a practice. Took my dog here a few times and quickly realized Dr. Peter is as crooked as they come. Took my dog for his yearly check up he said he couldn't do it because my dog had a ear infection but continued to charge for a complete check up around $250 and said when I come back for the check up he would charge for a visit. Came back they didn't know what I was talking about. So I paid double!The Next time I go back for another issue regarding his gums does some test on his eyes instead that was not necessary ( as told by my new Vet) scared the crap out of me saying my dog will go blind in 2 weeks (which did not happen)then abuses my dog and then charged me $600. Ridiculous ! Don't let him touch your animals.

Advertises as a 24/7 clinic yet when I called with an emergency at 12:30 am on December 26 I was told that, even though I was 5 minutes from their clinic, I had to drive my dog - who was seizing and having trouble breathing - 40 minutes to a clinic in Newmarket. The person I spoke to could not have cared less and was all but rude. Do not trust a vet that can turn away an animal in distress like that.

Town and Country is a little out of the way for my family (about 15 kms away) but the drive is worth it. Everyone that works here is amazing -- they treat us and our pets with respect and dignity. They do not push unnecessary services -- they lay out the options, provide the pros and cons, and let you make your decision.They will work with your pets needs (for example one of our cats couldn't take a pill, so they prepared a solution). We love T&C and will continue to bring our pets there --Note -- They do take pet insurance, but you have to pay in full and submit for insurance.

I have written a positive review before, but feel compelled to add to it. Town and Country continues to impress me, even after using their services for over 30 years. They are so quick to respond! I recently had an emergency with our pup, and they made time to see us right away. Dr. Melissa Pinto saw her, and spent over an hour with her, testing and making a careful diagnosis, with input from Dr. Brian. She followed up later that night and on the following day. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and all interactions with them are positive. Well done, Town and Country, and thank you.

The best animal hospital ever. The staff is knowledgeable, and very compassionate.
A few years back,my cat had kittens, I had trouble finding good homes for them, when they became 6 months old, and the vet realized I was in a pickle, I had 3 kittens, to spay/neuter, and needles. Very expensive, he offered ( I never asked) to do it for half price.
I will be indebted to these guys forever. Such kindness.

Just a quick note to say how disappointed and sad I was by this vet office. Our cat of 10 years passed away suddenly at night - no clinics were open. So we carefully and lovingly wrapped her in blankets and put her in her carrier, she was left in our basement until the next morning. Our reg clinic in Claremont is closed for surgeries on Fridays so we came here to have her cremated. I fully expected to get a print of her paws as we did with our reg clinic when her brother passed away. I was shocked and saddened to find out that they did not do this. My husband did not have the luxury of time and was also upset by her passing so he left her here to be cremated. Both my cats passed within a year and half of each other. My plan of having their prints tattooed is now gone and I am heartbroken that I have one set of prints but not another. A word of advice - losing a pet is hard, don't make it more difficult especially when its sudden - it wouldn't have been much of an effort for you to make a print just to comfort my family.

No other vet clinic comes close to Town and Country Animal Hospital. Having recently switched out from a horrible vet in Vaughan, I felt rushed out and left with barely any attention given to my puppy. Town and Country restores my faith in how a vet clinic should be. From the start, the clinic felt like home, the reception staff made me feel welcomed and taken care of. I couldn't express enough how much compassion and love they showed my puppy. On my first visit to Dr. Peter, he was knowledgeable, gave me great insight, actually took his time to check on my puppy, and didn't push any unnecessary meds/insurance/check-ups. You could tell from the very start that he truly cares for animals. This clinic is definitely comes highly recommended, I couldn't be any happier with their services, and I look forward to coming in every single time.

Only downfall is the price can be a bit high but they try to help you out where they can and won't do any testing they don't think is necessary

I took my cat in, because he had been vomiting for 3 days non stop, the vet saw him, and said that he needed to take an X ray, he took the cat upstairs and brought him back with a single picture X ray ... he couldn't diagnose him, so he said that he will call me the next day after reviewing the X ray with another doctor. Then, of course we went to pay for the service and guess what? they charged us almost 500 bucks for the visit!!!! really? What a ripoff! And of course they didn't call me the next day! They didn't care about my cat, they only cared about my money, and after they got it, they forgot about it. I will never go back!!

Every visit to Town & Country has been worth the drive from Toronto to Stouffville. I first visited the hospital several years ago to get a second opinion on whether to agree to an operation I was doubtful about and was advised not to proceed after a biopsy was taken. I have been going there ever since because my dog has not been subjected to invasive and unnecessary tests which cause undo stress. The depth of knowledge and years of combined expertise from all three Veterinarians is unsurpassed and so I will continue to bring my dog here because of the the superfine level of care.

I cannot say enough amazing things about the service we have received at Town & Country. All three of our dogs have been well taken care of for years at this clinic.
A couple months ago, we had to take advantage of the 24/7 service. Dr. Brendon answered the call right away. He was able to walk us through what we needed to do to possibly save our dog who had eaten something that could have caused him great harm. He was a godsend and just what we needed that night.
We also have a puppy who Dr. Brian was able to diagnosis despite never having seen the illness except in textbooks. He has worked with us to get the puppy to a comfortable situation and to treat him on an ongoing basis. Our calls for help have been answered right away and the service has been amazing!
Thank you Town & Country Vet Clinic for keeping our furbabies healthy!

This place is a cash grab. Services are 30% more expensive than other vets and 80% less efficient. I brought my dog and cat here and they were not able to diagnose the issues. I ended up going to my regular downtown clinic 55kms away just in time to save my pets with the correct diagnosis.
Stay away guys. Their 4-5 star reviews are mostly bogus. On Yelp they are 3 stars (Google accounts are easier to fake whereas on Yelp it's hardier to create fake accounts).
Like some of the locals in Stouffville they are racist and pretend to be nice to minorities. Stay away! They charge for double visits when they promise not to for the next time you show up.

Hands down, the most awesome veterinary team on the planet! Town & Country Animal Hospital truly is the best there is in animal care (the key word being "care"). The vets and the staff are warm, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable, helpful and accessible. I love that I can call anytime, day or night, even after hours, and receive trusted advice. And appointments are never rushed. The vets take their time to talk to you; to answer all your questions thoroughly. I've never left an appointment feeling uneasy or unsure. And I love that the staff are so wonderful and accommodating, too! They all make my pug feel special and loved, even though she can be a pain in the butt when she visits the vet!! My family has been taking our pets here for about 4 years now.. this is by far our favorite veterinary clinic. Brian and Brendan are both amazing vets.. and very good , compassionate people. Brian is honest and will tell you his opinion.. Brian took my brothers sick cat home with him over night to ensure he was okay and could monitor him. When we had to put our dog down when he got very sick, Briane sent us a card and made a donation in our pets name. Brendan took care of my kitten when he needed surgery .. my boyfriend and I could not afford to pay for it up front, so we were offered a payment plan. All staff members are so friendly and compassionate and go out of their way to make you and your pet comfortable. The nurses / office staff are very knowledgeable. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for vets who actually care about your pets wellbeing.

Took my dog for his yearly check up he said he couldn't do it because my dog had a ear infection but continued to charge for a complete check up around $250 and said when I come back for the check up he would charge for a visit. Came back they didn't know what I was talking about. So I paid double!The Next time I go back for another issue regarding his gums does some test on his eyes instead that was not necessary ( as told by my new Vet) scared the crap out of me saying my dog will go blind in 2 weeks (which did not happen)then abuses my dog and then charged me $600. Ridiculous ! Don't let him touch your animals.

Advertises as a 24/7 clinic yet when I called with an emergency at 12:30 am on December 26 I was told that, even though I was 5 minutes from their clinic, I had to drive my dog - who was seizing and having trouble breathing - 40 minutes to a clinic in Newmarket. The person I spoke to could not have cared less and was all but rude. Do not trust a vet that can turn away an animal in distress like that.

Town and Country is a little out of the way for my family (about 15 kms away) but the drive is worth it. Everyone that works here is amazing -- they treat us and our pets with respect and dignity. They do not push unnecessary services -- they lay out the options, provide the pros and cons, and let you make your decision.They will work with your pets needs (for example one of our cats couldn't take a pill, so they prepared a solution). We love T&C and will continue to bring our pets there --Note -- They do take pet insurance, but you have to pay in full and submit for insurance.
