I have never been to a veterinarian this bad. I took my dog in and paid for a check up and he only listened to her heart , no checking ears, teeth, eye's or checking for fleas. Only concern was what vaccinations did I want to pay for. I would never go back. Read Less

Excellent! I appreciate they make every attempt to keep costs low. Dr.Khahra is really knowledgeable and makes an effort to explain his diagnosis and rationale for treatment. They do offer some appointments if waiting is too stressful for your pet. I recommend this place to everyone. Read Less

I really have a nice experience with Dougall Veterinary Hospital. I have a German Shepherd dog suffering from epilepsy. I went there and Dr. Khahra gives him a lot of support. He is controlled now on phenobarbital. I encourage you to go there. Their prices also are affordable and reasonable. Read Less

Dougall Avenue Veterinary Hospital is where people who love their pets need to take them. The care I have experienced for my 2 cats has been exceptional. But what truly sets them aside from other Veterinary Hospitals is the care and compassion they all have for the animals that come in for care. Dr. Khahra performed emergency surgery on my cat for blockage due to a build up of crystals in his urinary tract. If I would have waited much longer he would not have made it...He immediately prepped Milo and he was in surgery. At one point Dr. Khahra thought he was going to lose him but we were lucky.. Dr. Khahra's wife Bhupinder is so sweet and caring.. She understood the worry I was experiencing and made me feel so much better. Mikaele the Assistant always puts a smile on my face whenever I walk through the door. She was so kind and helpful during this unsure time. Dr. Khahra kept Milo for 2 days to make sure he was out of the woods. He went back to the hospital during the night to check on him and the other animals. And I can't tell you how much better that made me feel. My other cat Tiger developed a respiratory infection and of course passed this on to Milo so again Dr. Khahra nursed them to health. I truly feel that the care is the best but these are truly people that care about the animals and love what they do. I just see it the way they talk to the animals just like they are their babies. I cant say I have experienced this at any other Veterinary hospital in Windsor. With out a doublt this is the hospital if you want to be assured of quality care for your best furry friends.. While the receptionist was friendly, I could not believe how dirty the facility was. There was cat hair everywhere, cats freely roaming around the reception area, and the rooms were dirty with dirt marks all over the walls. In addition, I waited almost an hour to see the vet after being placed in an examination room. After seeing another vet, we were informed that the vet at the dougall location had given our guinea pig a MUCH lower dosage of antibiotic than he actually  needed (he also added a laxative into our guinea pig's antibiotic without properly documenting it anywhere). The examination price was very cheap compared to other vets ($45), but I would much rather pay a bit more to ensure that my pet is properly treated. Read Less

Do not bring your animal here!!!!! I brought my dog here and the vet was extremely rude. I tried to ask him questions because it was my first time owning a dog and he acted annoyed then proceeded to over charge me and tried selling me treatments and vaccines my records clearly stated my dog already had. When I pointed this out he'd then try to play it off then try to sell me some other vaccines my dog already had. Then he was trying to upsell products and grooming services. He had absolutely no bed side manner and I would never go back there. This guy is a jerk and will rip you off so my advice is to stay away. Not sure if there is more than one vet at this clinic but this man was Indian and he was extremely rude. Read Less
