Not very happy with with last couple of visits, with my dog, its lacking clearness, and sanitary conditions... ,They are getting higher in pricing for small things, and It seems like they are always in a rush to get you out, they don't take the time to look and examination for their animals. they just tell you this and that, and want you to have test ex rays and charge higher money... Personality I think they care more about the money then their own patients.. they aren't really caring and loving devoted doctors like other places in Tecumseh and Windsor, won't be back. again. they need to have someone constantly cleaning lobby, and examination rooms, dried pee everywhere, and it looks like they were sitting there for days, especially around the cat and dog food area.... Amazing staff. So caring. Veterinarian Theresa is absolutely amazing and helped me through having to put my old lady cat down. I just love her. Will never go to another vet besides FG. Also they sent us a plant in the mail a few days later to send condolences. Read Less

It is so difficult to find the words to express my gratitude for everything the staff (all) did for us. My baby Winston is laying on the couch with me as I send this. I was frantic from the time my husband called to say, hurry home I don't know what is wrong I think he's dying. Somehow we made it safely to the place that would save his life (Forest Glade Animal Hospital). From the time I burst through the door, crying so hard I could barely see (please help me) to the most recent check on his health we have received such care and compassion. Every phone call I made (there were a lot of them) our many visits the questions I asked. Right down to carrying his bear for him because he was too weak to hold it. This last visit when I asked Winston if he wanted to go see the Doctor he squeaked and was wagging his tail so hard it was going in a circle. He could barely wait to get in the building to see the wonderful ladies at the front desk, then the technicians came to see him and off he went with them to get his nails done. I can't say enough about the Doctors other then amazing Winston will never go anywhere else. Thank you so very much. Read Less

We now see Dr.Shana Perry for our Puppy Harley. She's always very friendly with us and our pup, loving towards Harley, never short of information when I ask a question. Terri is always above and beyond when we visit to show her love towards Harley and super nice with us! Cindy- always very helpful at the desk! A huge thank you to all the staff especially those we've gotten to know, for always being so helpful and caring! We do need to book an appt for him to get neutered... knowing the way the staff is with us and Harley will make it that much easier to drop him off for the day! Read Less

Dr Theresa and her staff were very compassionate thoughtful and respectful to our family during a very difficult day. Having to say good bye to our beloved dog Max was not easy and the staff was so wonderful to us we will never forget your kindness. Today Theresa had to tell us that our beloved toy poodle Taffy had congestive heart issues and a leaky valve. It was so hard for me...she is my best friend. Theresa was very sorry to deliver the news....she looked sadder than me i think. I just want to thank them for helping us diagnose this early and hopefully we can have our peanut around for more than the 12 months Theresa estimates. I really like the FGAH...they have been really good since we moved here 2 years ago and because of the age of our dog...we have been there quite a few times....thanks guys. Read Less

Yesterday Dr. McCormick and her tech (I'm so sorry I don't remember the name.. It was a very emotional time) came to my parents home to put our dog down. The experience was the saddest one I've experienced in my lifetime, however, we could not have asked for more compassionate women to do the job. They were so good with our dog and really helped us through it. Just their energy alone was enough to help us know our puppy was in good hands and would be taken care of from start to finish. Brought my dog in after finding a lump. After the initial examination I was given antibiotics in case it was an infection but was told it could possibly be cancer. After arriving home that day I had a message that I was not given the right quantity of pills and had to return. When I went back, the Vet who had originally given me the prescription was there and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience of me having to return. After two weeks I returned to see another doctor since the first doctor was off. After examining my dog she said almost matter-of-factly that it was probably cancer. No blood work, no biopsy and she hadn't even originally examined him to know what the lump was in the beginning. She said the surgery would be a minimum of $3000. We decided to do any biotics for one more week to see if it made a difference. After sleeping on it I decided to ask for blood work to be done. We agreed that when I returned it the following week we would do the blood work. When I returned she said that the lump was the same and so it has to be cancer and that I better set up my consultation for surgery. Again this was before any blood work was done or a biopsy. She did the blood work that day and said she would call me that night with the results. I told her to make sure she called me on my cell phone since I would not be home. Instead she called my house and left a message (might not seem like a big deal but with everything else it was just one more thing that upset me). The blood work came back that everything seemed OK. However, she still kept pushing and wanted to book consultations for the surgery right away. I told her I was too upset to make a decision and would have to call back. Instead I went to a different animal hospital, where a biopsy plus several other tests were performed and it turns out that the lump was only scar tissue and there was no cancer. Thankfully I went for a second opinion instead of wasting more than $3000 to have my dogs anal glands removed which could've just caused more issues. I would never recommend this clinic and have made sure I've told as many people as possible about my experience!!Read Less

The Forest Glade Animal Hospital and all their staff members are fantastic. My 12 year old Shih Tzu passed away a week ago and they told my mother that her ashes will be sprinkled in a dog park. Very comforting on such a sad day. They also sent us a potted plant and a card with their many condolences. The card contained a lock of our dog's fur and her paw prints. So touching. When we get s new dog, we will definitely be bringing her here for check ups. Thanks to all the staff members for making this sad time easier for my family :) Read Less
