Rivard Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital in Windsor. As a member of vets in community, it is our commitment to provide quality, compassionate vet care at affordable prices for your pets. Our services and facility is not limited to assist in routine preventive pet care but also help in early detection and treatment of diseases with complete medical and surgical care as necessary.
Services include wellness exams, diagnostics, flea and heartworm prevention, prescription foods, grooming, vaccinations & dentistry.
Goal of our animal clinic is to provide the best possible care with modern, clean, friendly & warm environment to our clients and their pets. We believe in quality of service and treat pets as family members.
We recommend a regular annual exam as preventive health care for your cat and dog. A full range of vaccines are available to protect your pets against a wide variety of diseases including Distemper, Parvo, Hepatitis, Para-influenza, Lepto, Bordetella, Lyme, Rabies, Chlamydia and Leukemia.
It is not a spay neuter clinic but also have facilities for wide range of surgical services including soft tissue surgeries and offer the highest quality of veterinary medicine. Our focus on patient safety, pain management and employing the most current surgical practices is designed to exceed your expectations.
Complete dental care including cleaning, polishing, extractions and oral surgery services are available

I recently had an emergency with my cat and I brought him into the Vets at the animal hospital. They were honest, upfront with costs and were straight to the point. My cat is recovering and I am truly grateful for the wonderful staff who helped get my sweet boy better. Highly Recommend this animal hospital. I will definitely be taking my cat here from now on. Its a bit of a drive but worth it for me. They truly care about your pet and their health. God bless

I never even got to see the vet. I brought my scared little kitten for his first chck up. I had a 2:30 appointment. When I arrived at 2:15, rather than tell me they're backed up and ask me to reschedule, I was told to sit and wait. I sat and waited until 3:15. By that time my kitten was so mortified I had to leave and take him home. I had no idea how much longer it would even be if I had waited since the staff kept telling me "couple more minutes." The staff never even asked me to reschedule or apologize for their lack of concern for their clients and the animals.

This Vet now is NOT the same as years ago! That is why these reviews differ so much.
THIS VET IS A BUTCHER!!
Brought in my kitten for a simple spade procedure.
The surgery was a complete hack job!
Even the site of the incision was horrible! I knew something wasn't right, having taken other kittens for this procedure in the past and they came home nothing like this!
Needless to say I took her home and not even a day of couple days later she was bleeding out!
We took her back in only for a rush job which was closed with staples cause the vet was not in, and told to come back in the morning.
We return home and the staples pop!
Now am furious and extremely worried.
She had an infection from the butcher job.
We had no choice but to go to the Emerge on Walker Rd.
Thanks for the amazing job from the vets at Walker Rd and of course a 500. Which we shouldn't have had to pay!
If the procedure was done properly the first time!
I wish I could posts the photos of this.
Oh almost forgot she also brought home fleas!
DO NOT USE THIS VET!!!

Nice people, but they told me my dog didn't have fleas but I still purchased flea meds from here which are not a known brand. It actually attracted fleas onto my dog. I wont go back because of this. T...

I had to put my dog maggie down. It was the hardest decision we ever made. The staff and vet were so kind to me. They totally practiced ethical euthanasia and my dog was comfortable. I cant thank you enough for that!When I went back to get my dogs ashes I was in tears and the vet and receptionist were again so kind and reassuring. The receptionist /tech even teared up along with me. I wish I would have used them for her health care. They truly care about the animals they have. I truly recommend this facility.

My kitten went into for a spay and she ended up with a bad infection (internal and external) which cost hundreds more in fees to get her back to normal (at another vet, of course). I would not recomme...
My kitten went into for a spay and she ended up with a bad infection (internal and external) which cost hundreds more in fees to get her back to normal (at another vet, of course). I would not recommend at all. One month later and she is finally home.

This is the best vet ever. The staff is awesome. I took my pup in because he was rubbing his bum on the carpet and realized his scrotum was red (he was fixed 3 months ago). I couldn't afford all the treatment he needed so they waved a lot of fees for me. They really care about your animals health and will work with you if you can't afford their prices. They also gave my pup a free deworming pill, two times. The vet is awesome and so is the secretary. I'm never going anywhere else and I will for sure tell all of my friends and family to go there ! Thank you again

Immensely impressed with the service I have been recieving over the past couple of months with my dog having surgery and everything else I have had to bring her in for! Not only do they have monthly promotions to save everybody money, they really take into consideration everybody's personal situation and will do everything they can to ensure that your pet will get the device they need and deserve no matter their owners finnancial siuation... I would HIGHLY recommend coming here, the staff is so sweet as well!

My puppy had parvo and the vets there went way beyond their duty even coming in today (which is a Sunday) to give my puppy his treatment! They also gave me 2 free dog food cans and 2 free pills for fleas! I would recommend them to anyone!! My puppy is in great health because of them I couldn't thank them enough!!!

I visited this vet clinic yesterday with my pet shasha, Dr Over there did a thorough exam and explained in detail about pet health. Dr showed a very good love for pet, and looks like Dr trying to take my pet very well. I love this place and will recommend other people to go this clinic.

I recently had an emergency with my cat and I brought him into the Vets at the animal hospital. They were honest, upfront with costs and were straight to the point. My cat is recovering and I am truly grateful for the wonderful staff who helped get my sweet boy better. Highly Recommend this animal hospital. I will definitely be taking my cat here from now on. THIS VET IS A BUTCHER!!
Brought in my kitten for a simple spade procedure.
The surgery was a complete hack job!
Even the site of the incision was horrible! I knew something wasn't right, having taken other kittens for this procedure in the past and they came home nothing like this!
Needless to say I took her home and not even a day of couple days later she was bleeding out!

This is the best vet ever. The staff is awesome. I took my pup in because he was rubbing his bum on the carpet and realized his scrotum was red (he was fixed 3 months ago). I couldn't afford all the treatment he needed so they waved a lot of fees for me. They really care about your animals health and will work with you if you can't afford their prices. My puppy had parvo and the vets there went way beyond their duty even coming in today (which is a Sunday) to give my puppy his treatment!
