Dr. Ken McKenzie provides some of the greatest degree of experience I have seen in a vet, making him highly intuitive when it comes to clinical assessment and suggesting the best care options for your pet. I particularly appreciate is gentle balance between a no-nonsense and compassionate, easy to understand explanations geared towards any audience. During appointments, he will ensure pet owners are on the same page, and is willing to offer his time to answer questions. His love of the animals really shines through in his practice. Whereas it is a known fact some pet owners feel veterinarians "milk" as much money from them as possible, I can assure you in treating my 4-year old domestic short hair with progressive chronic kidney disease and non-regenerative anemia at Tecumseh Animal Hospital, they knew how to make cost effective diagnoses and provided different treatment options, giving me the freedom of choice, as well as the capability to make informed decisions regarding my cat's health. The nurses and technicians, Julie and Cindy I worked with the most, were incredibly kind and were both pleasant to work with as well as highly professional. I cannot thank your practice enough for providing J'zargo the absolute best chance in living fully with chronic kidney disease. (As a side note, in my experience, subcutaneous fluids are very easy to administer, the technicians gave me all the training I needed, and were willing to help over the phone if I ran into difficulties. If your pet requires subcutaneous fluids as part of hydration therapy, please listen to your veterinarian's advice, and consider this treatment option to give your pet the best chance. You really see a visible improvement in your pet, and for me it was well worth it!)Read Less
