It was my first time going to the vet with my cousin as we both bought cats that were siblings and he treated us like we were dumb and didn't know anything. There are tons of allegations on the vet and had a hearing in 2016. If I could, I would definitely sue them because of how they mistreated our kittens and took advantage of us. Tried selling us on things we didn't need and they also have fake reviews on google. Our new vet had mentioned that napa valley has a deal with certain adoption companies and that is how they retained some customers after his horrible misconducts. They just wan your money, they don't care about you or your pet and are very unprofessional and insensitive. Overall horrible services and people. They didn't give the insurance company the required documents even though they contacted napa valley twice.

My wife called this place to book an appt for cat grooming, after reading some reviews online (half good, half bad) I decided to follow up and speak with the groomer directly to get a sense of her experience. I asked the groomer "Debbie" for her last name and she refused to provide it. I obviously wanted to check some online reviews so she added "the internet doesnt have anything on me"... OK.... I asked for a work reference from a previous employer and she said she worked at B-Pro Grooming out of Brampton and to ask for Ginger. I called B-Pro and they too asked for the last name, when I couldn't provide it and explained why, they told me they couldn't help since many "Debbies" have worked and studied there (it is also a school).Now, my wife had already booked an appt for the next morning so we decided to take our older, indoor cat and just get it done. I mention she is older and indoor only as its pretty stressful for her to get in the carry bag and in the car. When my wife arrived at Napa Valley Animal Hospital she was told the appt was cancelled and they wont be accepting our cat for grooming!!I can understand if they didn't want the "hassle" of dealing with inquisitive customers but they should have just told me the previous day, during our conversation, that they wanted to cancel the appt! Or call me or my wife at any point prior to us subjecting our cat to the stress of the ride there!They clearly don't care about the stress they put on our cat nor the inconvenience they subjected us to with the needless early morning ride to their place. Needless to say we won't be going back there ever again. In addition, I signed up to Yelp just to post this review so that others looking for similar services, or pet care in general, know who they are dealing with when calling Napa Valley Animal Hospital.

I just saw the other review and want to say that there is no place for racism here. Maybe a course in diplomacy and manners would benefit Elena G.Dr. Khakh is an amazing and very caring vet. He works with our cat rescue and to date, we must have spayed or neutered 50 plus cats, and all very great work and great compassionate care. Dr. Khakh also performed surgery on my dog who was mauled by 2 dogs, a Rottweiller and a Pit Bull cross. He came to my home, picked him up and he was in surgery within an hour. The initial surgery took 3.5 hours and my little dog would not have survived without this care. Always available, always willing to help. English isn't Dr. Khakh's first language, but he makes up for it in listening to your concerns and addressing them appropriately.

I called to make an appointment for my dog who had been bit by what appeared to be a Bot Fly. The office was closing at 7pm and I had called at 6:15. The veterinarian told me to bring my dog in to c...
I called to make an appointment for my dog who had been bit by what appeared to be a Bot Fly. The office was closing at 7pm and I had called at 6:15. The veterinarian told me to bring my dog in to check her. I had in the meantime, shaved the bitten area, removed what appeared to be a maggot of some sort and had cleaned it with peroxide. The vet who spoke broken English informed me that he was an M D which sounded like "I'm Amadi" It was very difficult to understand the vet present. To boot, he never diagnosed my dog, asked me if I had seen other bites (should he not do that with the exam he apparently conducted and charged over time for) and then he poured iodine on the open lesion and sent me home with antibiotics (still with no diagnosis or prognosis). He then charged me an "emergency call" of 75 $ plus 40$ to rinse the already cleaned out wound plus 20$ for antibiotics. I was appalled at his lack of insight and at his robbery of charging me after hour prices when his clinic was open until 7pm. This week, I noticed another bot fly bite on her back, and proceeded to clean it and remove it myself. UNBELIEVABLE service and robbery. My regular vet would have included the flush of the wound as part of the visit, and would have not charged extra because I was his last appointment. Will never go back again to "Amadi" vet!

It was my first time going to the vet with my cousin as we both bought cats that were siblings and he treated us like we were dumb and didn't know anything.
