My first visit to Oxford County Vet on Ingersoll Ave. Woodstock. My little pet was hurt and they repaired her leg and helped me every step of the way. The concern, caring and professionalism in this vet team is something to behold. From the front desk through to the surgical group I am so grateful for your understanding and sheer love that you bring to your job. After this experience I can say that I wouldn't consider going anywhere but here for my much loved pet.

Not complaints. My kitty was treated well and their prices are the in middle of low and high and they pain medicate after which was what I wanted without it being over 300 dollars like wellington

I'm new to Woodstock and found this vet through good Google reviews. Dr Shana is very thorough and came up with an early arthritis diagnosis for my dog that fits her symptoms. Now we're treating her symptoms of fatigue and low energy (due to arthritis) by adding natural supplements like fish oil and tumeric to her diet. I've seen a remarkable improvement. This is after multiple vets and tests and diagnosis that made no sense and didn't help my dog. The office is also very kind and professional. I highly recommend Oxford country vet.

Recently my 13 year old beagle had a nasty fall and severely injured his back. He couldn't use his hind legs at all and his panting, whining and snapping indicated he was in a great deal of pain and distress. I feared that he would have to be euthanized.
When I called to bring him in I was told that the only opening was 10 am. I said I would try to get help to lift him and bring him in. By 9:45 I wasn't able to find help so I called back and pretty much begged for another time. I was told,"No". The receptionist said there were no other available times and that the vets leave at 5. I couldn't believe how callous they were.
I then called Yates Veterinary Clinic and was told I could bring him in. Thanks to a caring animal hospital, our beagle is still alive although his hind quarters move slowly and his gait is awkward.
I will not be going back to the Oxford County Veterinary Hospital.

The staff and all the veterinarians are amazing. They treat my elderly cat as if she were their own. I'm constantly pleasantly surprised at the care and after care the staff provide. After an appointment, I can count on the Dr. calling to find out how my little girl is doing. They do not just throw medication at problems but rather prefer to investigate as any good doctor should. I'm so fortunate to have found this vet. My little Mia is better for it.

After a small disagreement about pricing we were asked to take our dogs health and wellness elsewhere.
Followed by an abrupt and unnecessary letter.
I guess I am not surprised by the staff turnover.

Dr. Shana and Dr. Jackie and even the newest vet I believe Dr. Shannon have all been amazing. Our cat Domino was very sick with bladder crystals and a stone and we were coming in sometimes daily and they made the process all so much more comfortable for us. As well as helping us with other cats we've rescued from respiratory problems to infected wounds to anxiety issues. Thank you OCVC for always making the process as painless as possible for all of us.

Offer nail trim for both dog's and cat's. Also offer soft paws. You can work out a pre payment plan. Meaning, if you wanted $20 off each paycheck taken off and blanked there, they will. No more worrying.

The staff at Oxford County Veterinary clinic are amazing. We moved to Woodstock about 3 months ago and for convenience purposes, we were looking for a new vet clinic for our three puppers. I chose Oxford because of the amazing reviews and each review spoke the truth. On December 30 2016, we helped my heart boy Spencer cross The Rainbow Bridge after a brief illness. We are new clients, but the staff at Oxford treated us as if we have been clients for years. They were always there for support and guidance during Spencer's illness and were there for hugs when we desperately needed them. They are a truly compassionate and wonderful group of people. I've been a client of several different vet clinics over the years, and they're all the same. The doctor can't wait to finish their exam and run out of that room so you can get slapped with your outrageous vet bill. Until now that is!! I'm so in love with the staff and service with this clinic.. you can tell how much they actually care about the health and safety of our pets. Doctor Shana will spend an hour in the room with me answering every question I have, whether it's about anatomy, food, behaviour issues, etc. And never makes me feel rushed. And on top of amazing service, their prices are much lower than other vets in Woodstock which is the cherry on top. I'm a forever client!

Needless to say I have transferred both my dogs from other clinics to here. So overly impressed with the amount of time the staff here have taken with my dogs to ensure they are healthy now and in the future.

I have had a lot of animals in my time but this last veterinary clinic visit will be the last one that I use. All of the staff there are fantastic and made a usually very scared and snippy chihuahua feel like she belonged there. They are the first people to ever get near her without her at least showing teeth! I am still amazed at how they earned her trust so fast! Daisy loved her visit and so did i!! Her Dr has called back twice to check on her, which I find amazing in itself! I will recommend OCVC to anyone that I know that has animals. Thank you so much for your care!

They have taken care of my pup since she was 8 weeks old.
They care about all their clients and know them all by name after one visit.
She gets a thorough checkup each time we go for our appointment.
They helped me with feeding issues , offering free samples, and guidance to get her on track.
They offer a four week free puppy socialization class which is a great experience for puppies.
Their facility is clean and bright.
They have products for all your pets (toys, food, training aids) all at very reasonable prices.
I am very pleased with this service and would recommend anyone to visit their clinic to see for themselves the care they offer.

We are so very grateful to Dr. Shana & Dr.Jackie . We brought our very sick Pug to them for a 2nd opinion !! Thank God we did ...he is now on his road to recovery after a very long, scarey, 6 months! He was being treated for Congestive Heart Failure along with a multiple of medications for something he did not have ! We have 3 dogs and a cat, we know they will have the best medical care possible at "Oxford County Veterinary Clinic"! Thanks to All of their Wonderful Staff for Bugsy's care .!

Dr. Shana and Dr. Jackie and even the newest vet I believe Dr. Shannon have all been amazing. Our cat Domino was very sick with bladder crystals and a stone and we were coming in sometimes daily and they made the process all so much more comfortable for us. As well as helping us with other cats we've rescued from respiratory problems to infected wounds to anxiety issues. Thank you OCVC for always making the process as painless as possible for all of us.

Offer nail trim for both dog's and cat's. Also offer soft paws. You can work out a pre payment plan. Meaning, if you wanted $20 off each paycheck taken off and blanked there, they will. No more worrying.

The staff at Oxford County Veterinary clinic are amazing. We moved to Woodstock about 3 months ago and for convenience purposes, we were looking for a new vet clinic for our three puppers. I chose Oxford because of the amazing reviews and each review spoke the truth. On December 30 2016, we helped my heart boy Spencer cross The Rainbow Bridge after a brief illness. We are new clients, but the staff at Oxford treated us as if we have been clients for years. They were always there for support and guidance during Spencer's illness and were there for hugs when we desperately needed them. They are a truly compassionate and wonderful group of people. I've been a client of several different vet clinics over the years, and they're all the same. The doctor can't wait to finish their exam and run out of that room so you can get slapped with your outrageous vet bill. Until now that is!! I'm so in love with the staff and service with this clinic.. you can tell how much they actually care about the health and safety of our pets. Doctor Shana will spend an hour in the room with me answering every question I have, whether it's about anatomy, food, behaviour issues, etc. And never makes me feel rushed. And on top of amazing service, their prices are much lower than other vets in Woodstock which is the cherry on top. I'm a forever client!

Amazing care and excellent staff! I brought one of my dogs here for his annual checkup and vaccines. The staff here called me a couple days later to follow up and see how he was doing. Needless to say I have transferred both my dogs from other clinics to here. So overly impressed with the amount of time the staff here have taken with my dogs to ensure they are healthy now and in the future.

I have had a lot of animals in my time but this last veterinary clinic visit will be the last one that I use. All of the staff there are fantastic and made a usually very scared and snippy chihuahua feel like she belonged there. They are the first people to ever get near her without her at least showing teeth! I am still amazed at how they earned her trust so fast! Daisy loved her visit and so did i!! Her Dr has called back twice to check on her, which I find amazing in itself! I will recommend OCVC to anyone that I know that has animals. Thank you so much for your care!

They care about all their clients and know them all by name after one visit.
She gets a thorough checkup each time we go for our appointment.
They helped me with feeding issues , offering free samples, and guidance to get her on track.
They offer a four week free puppy socialization class which is a great experience for puppies.
Their facility is clean and bright.
They have products for all your pets (toys, food, training aids) all at very reasonable prices.
I am very pleased with this service and would recommend anyone to visit their clinic to see for themselves the care they offer.

All members of the team (from the vets to vet techs to administrative staff) show that they really care for your pets, whether you have an adult dog or cat who are at the end of life or if you are just starting out with a new puppy or kitten. We are so very grateful to Dr. Shana & Dr.Jackie . We brought our very sick Pug to them for a 2nd opinion !! Thank God we did ...he is now on his road to recovery after a very long, scarey, 6 months! He was being treated for Congestive Heart Failure along with a multiple of medications for something he did not have ! We have 3 dogs and a cat, we know they will have the best medical care possible at "Oxford County Veterinary Clinic"! Thanks to All of their Wonderful Staff for Bugsy's care .!
