J'ai eu l'occasion de visiter l'Hôpital Vétérinaire de l'Est pour obtenir des soins pour mon animal de compagnie, et je suis extrêmement déçu du service reçu.
Malheureusement, l'équipe vétérinaire a fait preuve d'un manque de professionnalisme et de diligence dans leur travail. Les délais d'attente étaient excessifs, et les soins dispensés étaient en dessous de mes attentes.
Particulièrement, j'ai été déçu par le comportement et la attitude du Dr Gareau, qui a montré un manque évident d'intérêt et d'engagement pour les besoins de mon animal. Son manque de professionnalisme et son inaction ont été choquants.
Je trouve préoccupant le manque d'engagement et de motivation de l'équipe pour fournir des soins adéquats à nos animaux de compagnie. Il est inacceptable de voir des professionnels de la santé animale se montrer aussi négligents.
Je déconseille fortement cet hôpital vétérinaire à quiconque recherche des soins de qualité pour son animal.

Very bad experience, brought in an exotic pet after calling and asking if they’ve had experience with it, they assured me that they did so I brought him in. They did a consult and then prescribed my glider some medication. Four days later I saw no difference, so I decided to call. I was told to finish the treatment as I’ll only see the difference once it’s completed. The next day, on the fifth day my glider got worse so I called once again. I was then told it would be best if I find myself another vet. By the time I found one, it was too late. Sadly my glider passed. Please don’t trust your exotic pets here, even if they assure you that they have experience with them.

This place only thinks about making money. Your animal comes second, they re on a agenda.
I brought my pomeranian who was feeling weird, all dizzy and not feeling good.
They told me it looks like a poisoning.
They told me we are going to give him pills for this and for that, and then they told me we ll give him shots.
After they finished they told me now you have to go to the hospital and we cant do anything anymore for you.
They charged me 580$.
Took me 25 min to arrive at the hospital and they said you should have brough him directly to us. And it cost me another 1500$.
Very dishonest people.

Went a couple times for my pomeranien dogs. Everything was usually great until one day, the femele fell and broke her front leg, came in panic took a scan, gave me two full boxes of medication ans sent me to the hospital in laval. The bill was 360$ and I didnt even look at it due to my stressfull situation.
Its not until I leave my dog for surgery that cost me 3200$ that I realized I got two full boxes of pills that I wont need ever. (Because the Laval hospital that they sent me themselves in didnt wanna take the medication).
Now that I was felt like they used my stress and my moment of panic to make the biggest bill possible, I came back and gently explained the situation to them. (And we re talking about 60$ ou 70$, so its not question of money but of quality of service).
I spoke to 4 poeple, lost 1h of my time, argued with the vet and the administration manager and all they got to say is its not our problem, its protocol.
For 60$, they lost a customer that regularly take his 2 dogs to the vet.
Most people when they re takinh advantage of are scared to speak up and thats the reason I feel they do that to many people.
Selling meds that will never be used to people in distress to tell me after that they re main goal is to look for the well being of the animals just doesnt add up.
Forgot to say that when I was in shock with the in the room with the vet, her main concern didnt seem to be her broken leg but If my second dog im his transporter had his vaccines. Insisting at least 3 times despite my clearly irritated face.

Very difficult to work with the clinic here. Took our cats to have the vaccines and paperwork updated to prepare for travelling overseas. They accidentally gave one of our cats a second microchip when we only came in for a vaccination. Constant discrepancy on the paperwork regarding the weight of the pets. On every visit there were corrections that needed to be made due to incomplete or incorrect information placed on the paperwork. Very frustrating experience with them

A few year ago we left our dog for an opration. We had to pay upfront near 1000$. the next day they called in saying there was complication and need more money for another opration. We couldn't make it to the clinic so we paid over phone (500$ at least). Next day they called back to tell us our dog was dead on the table.
Strongly think she was dead during the first Ops..

As a broke student caring for her bunny's health, I was VERY HAPPY with how the staffs treated my bunny. My bunny needed to be spayed and was under lots of stress. The technicians were really nice! The price is cheaper than other vets (i'm glad that they don't charge extra for the pre-operation exam or for creating a file at their hospital, which other vets do!). The surgery turned out perfectly fine (well, it's been 2 days only..). Great job to all the team!

When our dog of 13 1/2 years needed to be put down the vet and tech came to our house. I very much appreciated the service. They were fabulous with us but I didn't like, at all, that my dog wasn't tranquilized before they started the injections... The poor old guy fought hard, very upsetting for him and us... I will be sure to mention this prior to the next time this needs to be done! I just felt the dog should have been their priority, his emotional well being.
Other than that situation, they have been very dog with us, but they do tend to like giving referrals.

J'ai eu l'occasion de visiter l'Hôpital Vétérinaire de l'Est pour obtenir des soins pour mon animal de compagnie, et je suis extrêmement déçu du service reçu.
Malheureusement, l'équipe vétérinaire a fait preuve d'un manque de professionnalisme et de diligence dans leur travail. Les délais d'attente étaient excessifs, et les soins dispensés étaient en dessous de mes attentes.
Particulièrement, j'ai été déçu par le comportement et la attitude du Dr Gareau, qui a montré un manque évident d'intérêt et d'engagement pour les besoins de mon animal. Son manque de professionnalisme et son inaction ont été choquants.

When our dog of 13 1/2 years needed to be put down the vet and tech came to our house. I very much appreciated the service. They were fabulous with us but I didn't like, at all, that my dog wasn't tranquilized before they started the injections... The poor old guy fought hard, very upsetting for him and us... I will be sure to mention this prior to the next time this needs to be done! I just felt the dog should have been their priority, his emotional well being.
Other than that situation, they have been very dog with us, but they do tend to like giving referrals.
