The vets really care about their animal and human clients. The only downside is there is always a bit of wait which can make the appointment long. Not a place to go if you're in a rush! However, if you have an emergency, they will always fit you in.

Very happy with service thus far. Still trying to figure out how to control my cats allergies but I feel like the vets at this hospital actually care and want to help. They’ve also been really good about squeezing me in last minute for emergency appointments. Would recommend.

I received a call from my husband a few Fridays ago advising me our dog Cody (Beagle/Jack Russel) and got into chocolate... not just chocolate but "dark" chocolate chips. He told me he had been throw...
I received a call from my husband a few Fridays ago advising me our dog Cody (Beagle/Jack Russel) and got into chocolate... not just chocolate but "dark" chocolate chips. He told me he had been throwing up and was quivering and shaking. I told him to get in the car right away and get to the vet. I called the Vet and advised they were on the way and what had happed. They were ready and waiting when we got there and began procedures on Cody right away. He spent the day with them until 8Pm when we picked him up. We were advised to bring him back for 8am next morning so they could continue doing what they needed to do. He spent the day there on Saturday on intervenus, charcoal doses, blood tests, constant care. On the Friday it did not look good for Cody at all. My Family was preparing for the worst. We are thrilled to be able to say that with all the care, hard work, love and devotion Cody pulled through and is back to his healthy normal naughty self ... Just the way we love him. The doctors knew exactly what to do, they communicated with each other so everyone knew exaclty what was going on at all times so if a change of shift came in they just took over where the last doctor ended off. We are so thankful and grateful to all the staff at Sherwood Park for saving our dog. They did a Fabulous job!! We are a happy Family again with our Cody back healthy again. Needless to say the chocolate chips are very high up now, far out of reach. We really got a wake up call to not get lazy and to always be concious of the foods which dogs cannot eat and keep them out of reach. Karen Inglis and Family.

I went here to get my German Shepherd's nails trimmed and also to have a tick analyzed. I did not see a vet, but I did meet three technicians. I couldn't be more happy with my experience and I would not hesitate to go back to visit a vet if I ever need one. I'm staying on the West Island temporarily, so I was hesitant to go anywhere that my dog was not familiar with. My dog was totally relaxed, not afraid. The staff are friendly and calm. They listen and they offered useful information to me about the local situation with ticks. I can not recommend this place enough.

Very happy with service thus far. Still trying to figure out how to control my cats allergies but I feel like the vets at this hospital actually care and want to help. They’ve also been really good about squeezing me in last minute for emergency appointments. Would recommend.

I went here to get my German Shepherd's nails trimmed and also to have a tick analyzed. I did not see a vet, but I did meet three technicians. I couldn't be more happy with my experience and I would not hesitate to go back to visit a vet if I ever need one.
