The worst vet ever; honestly, if you want to pay thousand without results, it is the place to go!
I went for an eye infection; they prescribed me five different things and did a bunch of tests 1,200$ later, my dog still has an eye infection and nothing they gave me helped. Now they are asking me to come back so they can perform another check-up and charge me another hefty bill. Ridiculous!

I strongly suggest t all cat owners not go to this place.
We have brought in our new kitten for his first exams, vaccines and to get neutered.
Each appointment was with a different doctor and never the same price as mentioned on the phone at the time we booked our appointments.
We had such a bad experience at the last vaccine appointment before the surgery I didn’t know if we should go back. They are not referring back to the cats file and are asking questions that is definitely in the file ( like if he as a microchip… yes you are the one who did it!) I was so concern that we wanted to talk to a manager or someone in charge. No one would take our call. We made a review on google, not a bad one, just fair, about our concerns. We then received a registered letter to ban our pet from the clinic, can’t even buy the cat food there anymore.
If this is how they handle a simple concern, I would want to know how they handle a real problem. My cat’s health and safety is too important to me to leave it in the hands of a place that doesn’t even care about the animal.
DON’T GO THERE, there are plenty of good places in the city, avoid VETERINAIRE DU PLATEAU.

Stay clear, they like to over prescribe medicine and they treat your animal like a pay cheque.
-5 stars for lack of service and lack of knowledge.

One star would be more representative of the service I got from this place. They are obviously in business for money, so if you love your animal you should not even bother to call there in order to get help. I called outside the regular business hours to know if it was preferable to come at the clinic to get my dog checked. I was worried and the receptionist couldn't give me any information and requested my credit card number to answer this basic question. How can it be possible for them to act that way? What happens if I don't have the money on the spot? If you love your animal, go somewhere else - if they can charge you over 50$ for a call, they will definitely be comfortable taking advantage of you eventually.

I am english and received the same fair treatment as a french speaking person (which can be rare in quebec) staff was very nice and caring as i had an emergency. the vet was very kind/gentle and did not charge me for a test she administered. i was able to get an emergency appointment only a few hours after calling on a saturday. his eye is already improving from infection after a couple days of antibiotics and drops. so she did help very much and i was so relieved. consultation was a little more than my usual vet, (still less then ontario vet) but did not care as this was one of the only vets with available appointment. thank you!!

My cat has received great care here for the past 10 years. The vets are great and we can see these people really love what they are doing. I would recommend any cat or dog owner to go at this vet.
