I've been going to Dr Plasse for about 10 years even though there are very good vets just 5 minutes from my house. He is just better. I recently had an experience with one of the zoo where I got to witness the whole team working together and I have to say I was even more impressed. Dr. Plasse is hands down the best veterinarian in town. He is knowledgeable, truly loves animals and he is good with them, he gives you clear informations and can also be very helpful in guiding you when having to take difficult decisions. I've been a loyal customer for 8 years and dr plasse is a good and gentle vet. But this year during the dog's annual checkup, I asked for an eye flush because the tear duct was blocked and he didn't do it and prescribed maxitrol instead. I paid $16 at the pharmacy for it and it didn't work. I called back within 2 weeks to tell them and asked why the flush wasn't done when I had requested it. It is a 25 min drive each way for me and didn't want to keep going back. If it had been done I wouldn't be stuck. The technician (male) was not nice and got me all upset over it and instead of offering to do it for free because I was just there, they just gave me a $16 dollar credit on my file. Fast forward to today, I used the credit to get some allergy pills for the dog, and they inform me that they don't want me to come back and take my business elsewhere due to the incident in March. Well, that's the most idiotic way to run a business, I was in the right, and I'm moving on. They can go to hell. Read Less

Great service! Brought my cat there for his first vaccinations. Was brought a tea while he examined my cat. Was super gentle and playful. He made the cat feel comfortable before giving him his shot. Explained everything to me in detail. Would not go anywhere else! Read Less

I adopted my minou from there 3 years ago. I bring him back every for his vaccines and a check up. Every time that I bring him they are so excited to see him! They take such good care of Charlie and take the time to answer all of my questions. They even call to check up on him! They are fantastic! Wouldnt bring him anywhere else.Read Less

They took in our stray on a Sunday when most vets are closed and we were happy with our next 2 appointments afterwards; one for our male cats neutering and a year later for shots. On our most recent trip a year ago we arrived 10 minutes early for our 9 AM appointment.  Our cat does not like car rides or being confined into his cage and was extremely vocal about not wanting to be there.  Our vet was 30 minutes late for our appointment and we did not get any empathy or reassurance that we were going to be seen, nor any apology for the delay or explanation as to why.  The vet themselves are good, not extraordinary, but the secretaries/vet assistants just don't give a **** about your animal and if it's in distress.  They could have at least tried to put us in an empty exam room away from the other animals to calm him down. Go to Lachine Veterinary Clinic, our other cat is a regular there and now we take both as a result of our positive experience at Lachine and we love the service there.  Amène pas ton chat là bas.  Les assistants techniques/secrétaires s'en fou de la bien-être de ton animaux.  Les vétérinaires pas comte son bonnes mais pas exemplaire.  Je recommande que vous allez ailleurs, on a toujours amenée notre autre chat à la clinique Vétérinaire de Lachine et depuis cette dernière rendez-vous pénible à LaSalle on amène nos deux chats à Lachine.
