Also a luxury pension for cats and dogs, spa, grooming, daycare, boutique. All this in a center that cares for its patients and their owners!

La pire place, ce sont des arnaqueurs, ils n'ont pas le bien être de votre animal en priorité, ils veulent juste votre argent. Ils vont vous dire de payer pour faire un lot que tests qu'ils ne feront même pas, seulement un ou deux. De revenir pour faire encore plus de tests qu'on est sensé avoir déjà payé pour et refaire encore les mêmes tests pour finalement ne jamais rien trouver et ne même pas proposer de traitements. Ils vident le monde de leur argents jusqu'à ce qu'ils ne peuvent plus payer pour continuer. Les prix sont extrêmement exagérés. Je travail a dans le médical et les prix sont simplement ridicule, la visite est 3 fois plus cher, les échographies, radiographie etc 5, 6,7 fois plus cher. Pour comparatif, de simples tests et examens à cet endroit, sont les mêmes prix que de plusieurs grosses interventions chirurgicales comme d'énorme opérations ouverte pour un humain. N'allez jamais la bas, à moins que ce soit une extrême urgence et que les autres cliniques soient fermé sinon changer de clinique dès que possible. Read Less

THE VETERINARIAN WE DEALT WITH WAS PURE EVIL, but I’ll get to that after I tell you about the nightmare we lived through at this " HORROR HOUSE " Laval Veterinary Centre on Sunday June 19, 2022. Our family member Snow was having difficulties urinating to an alarming point where she was no longer able to relieve herself. We called the Laval Veterinary Centre at approximately 5pm. We explained our situation to the person who answered the phone and we were immediately told that this was an emergency. That if left untreated, it could be life threatening not excluding the rupture of her bladder and a painful and inevitable death. My daughter and I immediately grabbed Snow and floored our Jeep running red lights in panic. We arrived at the Centre at approximately 5:20pm. At around 5:30pm we were registered at the reception and told to have a seat in the lobby. Between 5:30pm to approximately 7:30pm we watched Snow, along with many other pet owners struggling to relieve herself in a urine like pose. Everyone in the lobby could see and feel the pain she was going through. She also vomited several times and blood started dripping from her vulva and seeping through the thick folds of tissue from her labia. At that moment, I thought she was going to die. Fortunately, we were called to meet with the medical technician. She was very polite and professional. She asked us many relevant questions, took her temperature and executed a triage in order to determine the degree of urgency. Snow was registered as Priority. At approximately 8pm, we were back to our original seats in the lobby waiting to see the Veterinarian. Between 8pm to approximately 9pm, Snow continued her urine like pose, vomited several more times and drips of blood still slapped the waiting room tiles. At around 9:10pm, I left the Clinic ( my other daughter came to the Centre while I was gone ) to go home and prepare my daughter’s meal and her rapid insulin shot - she’s had juvenile diabetes ever since she was 7 years old, she’s 26 now. I was back at the Veterinarian Centre at approximately 10pm. I was shocked to see that Snow was still there in the lobby, struggling to urinate in obvious excruciating pain. This is how a patient is treated registered as a PRIORITY? All of a sudden, out of the blue, a massive pool of blood and urine exploded from within Snow - my instant thought was that her bladder ruptured and she was going to die. Die right there in front of me, my daughters and every other pet owner right there in the middle of the lobby. I immediately ran to the receptionists and spewed out the words " SNOW IS DYING PLEASE GET A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY ". I then ran back to where I thought I was going to see Snow dead on the blood urine soaked tiles - but thankfully she was still alive. She had finally urinated. What I thought in panic was that her bladder had ruptured but in reality, she had finally relieved herself. In that moment of pure relief, the Veterinarian walks up to us and immediately starts giving us excuses. Then the Veterinarian had the gall to tell me that I had raised my voice and was rude to the receptionists. Then told me to calm down multiple times and that I had bothered everyone in the waiting room with the way I reacted when I thought Snow was dying. Then the Veterinarian walked away with an angry expression and no empathy whatsoever. THIS VETERINARIAN WAS EVIL. Then I immediately looked at my daughters and said: " LET’S LEAVE THIS HORROR HOUSE ". The only thing I can tell you dear pet owner is " BEWARE. TAKE YOUR PET TO THE LAVAL VETERINARY CENTRE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION….. we love you Snow ❤️ Read Less

When we were referred to this hospital for our dog for a surgery he needed we felt fortunate that there was a surgeon able to perform it. I put my detective skills to work and located the board certified surgeon who appeared to have a large social media presence. I reached out to her and she responded which was very comforting to me. We drove the two hours to the hospital the day of the surgery, during COVID lockdown because he needed the surgery. The only time I actually spoke to the surgeon is after she examined my dog. She told me he would need two other surgeries that we were not there for. When I told her to just do the surgery we were there for she appeared to be annoyed. This is the last time I spoke to her. The vet technician was who I dealt with afterward. The support staff are very friendly this is why I’ve rated the hospital with the two stars. Dr. Rebecca DeArburn Parent was busy posting on social media. Once home I tried to reach out to them with some concerns over my dogs recovery. They called back to tell me to deal with my home vet. That the issues could not be addressed over the phone. I even tagged the surgeon on social media but she never bothered to answer. I will never return to this clinic. I DO NOT recommend Dr Rebecca DeArburn Parent. Read Less

Bonjour, je suis allée à ce vétérinaire durant plusieurs jours en ligne avec mon chiot et je voulais vous informez que vos réceptionnistes ne sont pas empathiques du tout, elles n’étaient pas de bonne humeur et parlaient bête aux clients. Terrible place! My daughter brought her pet rat has he was having serious trouble breathing! They made her sign an estimate for 750$ ! I only found out when I accompanied her to pick up her rat ( she is under 18 and does not drive yet) . It was obvious that the prognostic was terrible and they should have mentioned this to her but instead, they administered different medications and procedures and sure enough, the final bill was over 700$ for one night of hospitalization. It would have been 86$ more but the rat died 5 minutes after it was handed to us at the clinic (after waiting for 2 hours just to pick it up )and as I was paying the bill ! It turns out we did not need the very expensive medications they prescribed after all ! But they did offer to dispose of it for an amount of 37$ which I declined. Finally, the receptionist was rude with me. Avoid this place at all cost as their only interest is to make the most money out of you by using your emotions and love for your pet without giving you the straight facts. Read Less

This was the worst experiance we ever had. My cat was brought to the clinic to be evaluated for a possible infection. On sat August 1 he was evaluated. They told us that they were going to treat him for a upper respiratory infection . Meds were administered however my cat kepted on vomiting. Monday August 3 we brought him back based on the advice of the technician on the phone. We arrived at 130 PM but my cat was only seen by the same doctor at 520pm that means that they were waiting for the same doctor that evaluated him on sat to be seen on mon because she began her shift at 5pm which is unacceptable knowing the situation. Doctor call us to inform us that they cant evaluate my cat because he was very aggressive. So they tried to sedate him so that they could have evaluated him apparently that didnt work. 3 hours later I had to pay my bill and pick up my cat the lady at the receptionist said its 344.07. Just to mention I paid 693.07 on sat. So back to the receptionist when I asked what I am paying for she said just pay and the fees will be explained on the bill... than I finally get my cat back 7 hours later only to find that hes completely cover in his own urine and feces. The explanation given was he was to aggressive. This just proves to me that the staff is not properly trained. My cat is now traumatized with this whole situation. I wonder what happend in the back when they took him. He has bleeding paws and cracked nails. This is unacceptable my cat did not deserve this treatment and if he was overly aggressive they should have told us to bring him back another time. However it was easy to take my 1000 dollars and I'm willing to spend even more but defineltly not at your emergency clinic. Read Less

I just found out from my sister and brother in law that they had to put their boxer down overnight. They have been going to the Centre Veterinaire Laval 440 for years, with all their dogs and all the medical problems their boxer had. They were told last night that they could not go in to put their dog down, that they would have to leave her at the door, (due to the Corona Virus). They ended up going to the DMV who were so understanding and so compassionate under the circumstances, and they were both by their mates side. Shame on you, Laval 440, for turning people away during a most difficult time. Everyone is taking the necessary measures to protect themselves and their staff. My sister and brother in law arrived with masks/gloves/ and a dying dog and you turned them away and made them feel like their dog didn't matter How disgusting! We pay so much money only to be treated inhumanely, for our loved animals to be treated inhumanely After this, I will for sure not be coming back to your clinic, and am spreading the word to everyone who will ask about your place Read Less

nutes Nous sommes allés porter notre chat Ti-Bandit samedi vers 12h30. On nous annonce que la facture sera assez salée pour une hospitalisation de minimum 24 heures. Nous avons donc contactés Ifinance dans la salle d'attente du vétérinaire pour les frais. Nous leurs demandons (au réceptionnistes) ce qu'ils ont besoin pour que le tout soit okay pour eux. On nous mentionne à la réception qu'ils doivent avoir la preuve de garantie de paiement. Ce que nous faisons. Ifinance à envoyer les papiers au CVL. Nous avons signer les papiers du prêt et les deux filles de la réception qui étaient en poste ont faxés les papier chez IFINANCE et nous leurs avons demandés si tout était okay et ils nous confirment que tout est okay de leurs côtés. Nous partons rassurés pour notre Ti-Bandit. Nous prenons des nouvelles vers 16h30 et tout est stable selon la technicienne. Nous sommes alors rassurés. Ce matin, dimanche le 27 Octobre 2019, nous recevons un appel de la technicienne nous disant qu'il a commencé a lècher des pots de bébés. Nous sommes rassurés et nous decidons d'aller rendre visite à notre bébé vers 13h15 cet après-midi. Les signes sont très bon. La veterinaire nous parle et on lui demande si il doit être gardé une nuit de plus, car si tel est le cas, nous allons le mentionner à Ifinance et la vétérinaire comprends le tout. Cependant sont état est bon et nous recevons un appel finale de la technicienne à 16h30 qui nous confirme que nous pouvons ramener Ti-Bandit à la maison ce soir à 20h. Nous nous présentons à 20h au vétérinaire. Nous leurs disons que nous venons chercher Ti-Bandit. Nous leurs disons que nous avons seulement les taxes à payer, car nous sommes avec Ifinance pour le paiement. La réceptionniste nous mentionnes que le CVL de Laval ne fait plus affaire avec IFINANCE et que sa collègue nous a appelé et qu'elle était présente quand elle nous a contacté Je tiens à vous rappeler qu'à AUCUN MOMENT PERSONNE N'A APPELÉ NI MOI NI MA CONJOINTE pour nous faire part de cette information. Quand plusieurs appels ont eu lieu On nous traite carrément de menteurs. Nous avons eu les 2 bras sciés... nous avons donc dû prendre l'argent de notre l'hypothèque pour régler la facture. Croyez-vous pas que nous aurions trouvé une autre façon de payer si nous avions été informés Avant. Je ne crois pas que c'est notre ressort de régler cette problématique quand vos employés nous on mentionné que tout était okay pour vous et que le lendemain c'est une tout autre histoire. Je vous rassure que cette histoire ne s'arrêtera pas là. Et que plus jamais nous allons vous apporter un de nos animaux. Je préfère faire 50 km de plus que de me faire traiter de menteur. Read Less

We had a great experience with these vets. We brought our newly adopted dog in during emergency hours. They were very loving and kind with him. They treated him for his illness and called us back a few days later to check in on him. The vet technicians answered my question over the phone when we had a problem with his medication and the issue was cleared up right away. I love the fact that they are open 24 hours and that you can reach a technician at any time. As brand new dog owners we were very worried about our dog, but everyone at this hospital is incredibly helpful. We are definitely going to stick with them as our full time vet. And would like to say a special thank you to doctor Hugo from Odis and Family. Read Less

Brought my little puppy of 4 months that was vomitting and had diarrhea and wasn’t eating. She had low blood sugar so I was told that she would need to spend a night there for treatment. Was told that she was doing fine and was eating and everything look to be normal again. Then the next day i received a call stating that she was in cardiac arrest or respitory arrest because she vomitted again and some got into her lungs but that they didn’t understand why she was vomitting again since the parvovirus was negative on the test and that she had a great night and even that morning that she was doing well. Well my guess is that they weren’t monitoring her well enough and that she probably vomit and being a little puppy couldn’t move away from it and inhale the vomit and choke to death. I went to that emergency hospital since in the morning to get to the closest DMV would be horrible because of traffic. But will never go back there again. My puppy died and left with a bill of 1550$. Was told by the vet that she will come see me to talk about what happened when I will be there to see for the last time my puppy but never saw her. No comforting words by anyone working there. The DMV have better services and know how to talk to the people that considered they pet their babies. I really believe that they didn’t do their job properly and result in the passing of my little baby. Read Less

I want to thank Dr. Beauregard and all the staff of Centre Veterinaire 440 for exceptional service and professionalism. On Saturday, (May 26) we had an emergency situation with our family dog. He was unable to make it back home and the entire staff at the Centre made a very difficult and stressful situation as soothing and easy as possible. The Dr explained the situation very well and presented us with the facts and options very clearly. The entire staff know how to deal with what can be very sad situations. This Centre acts with both professionalism and sympathy for the clientele and know how to handle what are very difficult situations. I brought my rabbit on a Saturday for urgent treatment for symptoms of gastrointestinal stasis (an emergency in rabbits). We noticed a change in the size of the droppings that became small and the rabbit became weak, barely moving and not eating since the morning. The vet on call told us that he has never seen such an old and sick rabbit in his life and that his heart was weak. However, he offered no immediate help what so ever and showed no compassion. Instead, he presented us with a 1000$ bill of investigations to do if we wanted to save the rabbit's life. He did not even offer any medication to ease its discomfort (we had to ask for it) or to reduce its intestinal bloating. No attempt was made to rehydrate my rabbit even though I paid over 200$ for the visit. I brought my poor rabbit back home where it died in my arms a few hours later. My rabbit was 7 years old, sprayed, and never missed an annual check up. I always brought it for all minor problems such as a runny nose. The last check up was completely normal 4 months ago with some slowing down that was attributed to normal aging. According to them, nothing was amiss. Then, in the face of a real emergency, we did not get any basic help or even comfort treatment. So save your money on the vet bills at the CVL. Next time, I will go elsewhere or keep it for a new bunny. Read Less

My animal died today. He had regular check ups, the last being done 4 months ago, and always everything was fine. When I brought him in today, the vet on call said that he had never seen such an old and sick animal in his life. He offered no care or compassion, just a 1000$ bill of investigations for potential treatable causes or euthanasia. He died a few hours after the appointment with us at home. I am not angry since one day we will all die. I just do not see the point regular check ups or emergency care. Save your money. Save it for a new young healthy pet. Read Less

I saw Dre Cournoyer Rodrigue in emergency for my boston terrier dog. she took great care of him. They did an emergency surgery in the evening. Expensive but my doggy is fine now.

Absolutely terrible place. If you need an emergency please avoid this place, the DMV is better. Even my veterinarian tells their clients to avoid this place. They charge you needlessly, you have no idea what your total bill will come up to and you get surprise charges. A cone costed me 100$ where as the regular vet cost me 20$. Really? Everything is about triple the price that you would pay at the veterinarian. And I understand it's an emergency hospital, but what a scam. Just because you are open 24/7 allows you to charge everyone whatever you want? Sure a consultation should cost more. But medicine is medicine. My beloved pet died from a malignant cancer. I was very unhappy with the service and options that were being given to me from the oncologist, she lacked empathy and had me do extra test when in reality her cancer is terminal and I was not informed. She walked in and I had to carry her out wimpering because she was in great pain. They said it would take 45 to 60 minutes and that I could go for a coffee. Since I hadn't eaten since early morning and it was already past 2pm, I went to McDonald's a couple of buildings away. I had just started eating when my cell phone rang. I was told the Vet wanted to talk to me ASAP. I had to through out my food since the only one person at the cash and she had a lineup of customers, I just rushed back to the hospital. I waited 40 minutes before she came to talk to me, just to be told that it would cost an extra $75.00 for me to speak to the vet and that is on top of the $774 I had to pay for the procedures. Then I was told she had a seisure. My dog never had a seisure before that and she was so sick afterwards that she was unable to stand, her hind legs just crumbled and she was in great pain. She was found on the Metropolitan Highway and I adopted her and saved her life 4 years ago. She might still be alive right now if I hadn't agreed to the Ultrasound aND biopsythe. She must have been so scared with all those strangers manipulating and forcing her. They had to sedate her because she was moving too much, and couldn't do the tests. She was such a good girl and so gentle. Too young to have died at 5 years old. I loved her and miss her so much. Read Less

Hello I have double feeling about this place. First- my cat got cancer. We didn't know about and brought him to this clinic. Be honest I don't remember the wet's name. But diagnosis was wrong- we tortured him for a week giving him pills he didn't need (against inflammation and some others). He could not eat and even drink water but we forced him to swallow it. My dear Vasya. Forgive us please. After a week of nightmares, wet sent him to oncology. A few days more and we had to put him to sleep. My 14 years cat. Why the wet could not recognize the incurable disease? Oppositely- I have two dogs, and we had no problems with all our problems there. Even more, my older one gave a birth to three beautiful girls in this clinic :-) The staff is nice, think they are real dog lovers, never experienced any problems. Services are good. Read Less

Ils vont vous dire de payer pour faire un lot que tests qu'ils ne feront même pas, seulement un ou deux. De revenir pour faire encore plus de tests qu'on est sensé avoir déjà payé pour et refaire encore les mêmes tests pour finalement ne jamais rien trouver et ne même pas proposer de traitements. Ils vident le monde de leur argents jusqu'à ce qu'ils ne peuvent plus payer pour continuer. Les prix sont extrêmement exagérés. Je travail a dans le médical et les prix sont simplement ridicule, la visite est 3 fois plus cher, les échographies, radiographie etc 5, 6,7 fois plus cher. Pour comparatif, de simples tests et examens à cet endroit, sont les mêmes prix que de plusieurs grosses interventions chirurgicales comme d'énorme opérations ouverte pour un humain. N'allez jamais la bas, à moins que ce soit une extrême urgence et que les autres cliniques soient fermé sinon changer de clinique dès que possible. Read Less

THE VETERINARIAN WE DEALT WITH WAS PURE EVIL, but I’ll get to that after I tell you about the nightmare we lived through at this " HORROR HOUSE " Laval Veterinary Centre on Sunday June 19, 2022. Our family member Snow was having difficulties urinating to an alarming point where she was no longer able to relieve herself. We called the Laval Veterinary Centre at approximately 5pm. We explained our situation to the person who answered the phone and we were immediately told that this was an emergency. That if left untreated, it could be life threatening not excluding the rupture of her bladder and a painful and inevitable death. My daughter and I immediately grabbed Snow and floored our Jeep running red lights in panic. We arrived at the Centre at approximately 5:20pm. At around 5:30pm we were registered at the reception and told to have a seat in the lobby. Between 5:30pm to approximately 7:30pm we watched Snow, along with many other pet owners struggling to relieve herself in a urine like pose. Everyone in the lobby could see and feel the pain she was going through. She also vomited several times and blood started dripping from her vulva and seeping through the thick folds of tissue from her labia. At that moment, I thought she was going to die. Fortunately, we were called to meet with the medical technician. She was very polite and professional. She asked us many relevant questions, took her temperature and executed a triage in order to determine the degree of urgency. Snow was registered as Priority. At approximately 8pm, we were back to our original seats in the lobby waiting to see the Veterinarian. Between 8pm to approximately 9pm, Snow continued her urine like pose, vomited several more times and drips of blood still slapped the waiting room tiles. At around 9:10pm, I left the Clinic ( my other daughter came to the Centre while I was gone ) to go home and prepare my daughter’s meal and her rapid insulin shot - she’s had juvenile diabetes ever since she was 7 years old, she’s 26 now. I was back at the Veterinarian Centre at approximately 10pm. I was shocked to see that Snow was still there in the lobby, struggling to urinate in obvious excruciating pain. This is how a patient is treated registered as a PRIORITY? All of a sudden, out of the blue, a massive pool of blood and urine exploded from within Snow - my instant thought was that her bladder ruptured and she was going to die. Die right there in front of me, my daughters and every other pet owner right there in the middle of the lobby. I immediately ran to the receptionists and spewed out the words " SNOW IS DYING PLEASE GET A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY ". I then ran back to where I thought I was going to see Snow dead on the blood urine soaked tiles - but thankfully she was still alive. She had finally urinated. What I thought in panic was that her bladder had ruptured but in reality, she had finally relieved herself. In that moment of pure relief, the Veterinarian walks up to us and immediately starts giving us excuses. Then the Veterinarian had the gall to tell me that I had raised my voice and was rude to the receptionists. Then told me to calm down multiple times and that I had bothered everyone in the waiting room with the way I reacted when I thought Snow was dying. Then the Veterinarian walked away with an angry expression and no empathy whatsoever. THIS VETERINARIAN WAS EVIL. Then I immediately looked at my daughters and said: " LET’S LEAVE THIS HORROR HOUSE ". The only thing I can tell you dear pet owner is " BEWARE. TAKE YOUR PET TO THE LAVAL VETERINARY CENTRE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION….. we love you Snow ❤️ Read Less

When we were referred to this hospital for our dog for a surgery he needed we felt fortunate that there was a surgeon able to perform it. I put my detective skills to work and located the board certified surgeon who appeared to have a large social media presence. I reached out to her and she responded which was very comforting to me. We drove the two hours to the hospital the day of the surgery, during COVID lockdown because he needed the surgery. The only time I actually spoke to the surgeon is after she examined my dog. She told me he would need two other surgeries that we were not there for. When I told her to just do the surgery we were there for she appeared to be annoyed. This is the last time I spoke to her. The vet technician was who I dealt with afterward. The support staff are very friendly this is why I’ve rated the hospital with the two stars. Dr. Rebecca DeArburn Parent was busy posting on social media. Once home I tried to reach out to them with some concerns over my dogs recovery. They called back to tell me to deal with my home vet. That the issues could not be addressed over the phone. I even tagged the surgeon on social media but she never bothered to answer. I will never return to this clinic. I DO NOT recommend Dr Rebecca DeArburn Parent. Read Less

I only found out when I accompanied her to pick up her rat ( she is under 18 and does not drive yet) . It was obvious that the prognostic was terrible and they should have mentioned this to her but instead, they administered different medications and procedures and sure enough, the final bill was over 700$ for one night of hospitalization. It would have been 86$ more but the rat died 5 minutes after it was handed to us at the clinic (after waiting for 2 hours just to pick it up )and as I was paying the bill ! It turns out we did not need the very expensive medications they prescribed after all ! But they did offer to dispose of it for an amount of 37$ which I declined. Finally, the receptionist was rude with me. Avoid this place at all cost as their only interest is to make the most money out of you by using your emotions and love for your pet without giving you the straight facts. Read Less

This was the worst experiance we ever had. My cat was brought to the clinic to be evaluated for a possible infection. On sat August 1 he was evaluated. They told us that they were going to treat him for a upper respiratory infection . Meds were administered however my cat kepted on vomiting. Monday August 3 we brought him back based on the advice of the technician on the phone. We arrived at 130 PM but my cat was only seen by the same doctor at 520pm that means that they were waiting for the same doctor that evaluated him on sat to be seen on mon because she began her shift at 5pm which is unacceptable knowing the situation. Doctor call us to inform us that they cant evaluate my cat because he was very aggressive. So they tried to sedate him so that they could have evaluated him apparently that didnt work. 3 hours later I had to pay my bill and pick up my cat the lady at the receptionist said its 344.07. Just to mention I paid 693.07 on sat. So back to the receptionist when I asked what I am paying for she said just pay and the fees will be explained on the bill... than I finally get my cat back 7 hours later only to find that hes completely cover in his own urine and feces. The explanation given was he was to aggressive. This just proves to me that the staff is not properly trained. My cat is now traumatized with this whole situation. I wonder what happend in the back when they took him. He has bleeding paws and cracked nails. This is unacceptable my cat did not deserve this treatment and if he was overly aggressive they should have told us to bring him back another time. However it was easy to take my 1000 dollars and I'm willing to spend even more but defineltly not at your emergency clinic. Read Less

I just found out from my sister and brother in law that they had to put their boxer down overnight. They have been going to the Centre Veterinaire Laval 440 for years, with all their dogs and all the medical problems their boxer had. They were told last night that they could not go in to put their dog down, that they would have to leave her at the door, (due to the Corona Virus). They ended up going to the DMV who were so understanding and so compassionate under the circumstances, and they were both by their mates side. Shame on you, Laval 440, for turning people away during a most difficult time. Everyone is taking the necessary measures to protect themselves and their staff. My sister and brother in law arrived with masks/gloves/ and a dying dog and you turned them away and made them feel like their dog didn't matter How disgusting! We pay so much money only to be treated inhumanely, for our loved animals to be treated inhumanely After this, I will for sure not be coming back to your clinic, and am spreading the word to everyone who will ask about your place Read Less

nutes Nous sommes allés porter notre chat Ti-Bandit samedi vers 12h30. On nous annonce que la facture sera assez salée pour une hospitalisation de minimum 24 heures. Nous avons donc contactés Ifinance dans la salle d'attente du vétérinaire pour les frais. Nous leurs demandons (au réceptionnistes) ce qu'ils ont besoin pour que le tout soit okay pour eux. On nous mentionne à la réception qu'ils doivent avoir la preuve de garantie de paiement. Ce que nous faisons. Ifinance à envoyer les papiers au CVL. Nous avons signer les papiers du prêt et les deux filles de la réception qui étaient en poste ont faxés les papier chez IFINANCE et nous leurs avons demandés si tout était okay et ils nous confirment que tout est okay de leurs côtés. Nous partons rassurés pour notre Ti-Bandit. Nous prenons des nouvelles vers 16h30 et tout est stable selon la technicienne. Nous sommes alors rassurés. Ce matin, dimanche le 27 Octobre 2019, nous recevons un appel de la technicienne nous disant qu'il a commencé a lècher des pots de bébés. Nous sommes rassurés et nous decidons d'aller rendre visite à notre bébé vers 13h15 cet après-midi. Les signes sont très bon. La veterinaire nous parle et on lui demande si il doit être gardé une nuit de plus, car si tel est le cas, nous allons le mentionner à Ifinance et la vétérinaire comprends le tout. Cependant sont état est bon et nous recevons un appel finale de la technicienne à 16h30 qui nous confirme que nous pouvons ramener Ti-Bandit à la maison ce soir à 20h. Nous nous présentons à 20h au vétérinaire. Nous leurs disons que nous venons chercher Ti-Bandit. Nous leurs disons que nous avons seulement les taxes à payer, car nous sommes avec Ifinance pour le paiement. La réceptionniste nous mentionnes que le CVL de Laval ne fait plus affaire avec IFINANCE et que sa collègue nous a appelé et qu'elle était présente quand elle nous a contacté Je tiens à vous rappeler qu'à AUCUN MOMENT PERSONNE N'A APPELÉ NI MOI NI MA CONJOINTE pour nous faire part de cette information. Quand plusieurs appels ont eu lieu On nous traite carrément de menteurs. Nous avons eu les 2 bras sciés... nous avons donc dû prendre l'argent de notre l'hypothèque pour régler la facture. Croyez-vous pas que nous aurions trouvé une autre façon de payer si nous avions été informés Avant. Je ne crois pas que c'est notre ressort de régler cette problématique quand vos employés nous on mentionné que tout était okay pour vous et que le lendemain c'est une tout autre histoire. Je vous rassure que cette histoire ne s'arrêtera pas là. Et que plus jamais nous allons vous apporter un de nos animaux. Je préfère faire 50 km de plus que de me faire traiter de menteur. Read Less

We had a great experience with these vets. We brought our newly adopted dog in during emergency hours. They were very loving and kind with him. They treated him for his illness and called us back a few days later to check in on him. The vet technicians answered my question over the phone when we had a problem with his medication and the issue was cleared up right away. I love the fact that they are open 24 hours and that you can reach a technician at any time. As brand new dog owners we were very worried about our dog, but everyone at this hospital is incredibly helpful. We are definitely going to stick with them as our full time vet. And would like to say a special thank you to doctor Hugo from Odis and Family. Read Less

Brought my little puppy of 4 months that was vomitting and had diarrhea and wasn’t eating. She had low blood sugar so I was told that she would need to spend a night there for treatment. Was told that she was doing fine and was eating and everything look to be normal again. Then the next day i received a call stating that she was in cardiac arrest or respitory arrest because she vomitted again and some got into her lungs but that they didn’t understand why she was vomitting again since the parvovirus was negative on the test and that she had a great night and even that morning that she was doing well. Well my guess is that they weren’t monitoring her well enough and that she probably vomit and being a little puppy couldn’t move away from it and inhale the vomit and choke to death. I went to that emergency hospital since in the morning to get to the closest DMV would be horrible because of traffic. But will never go back there again. My puppy died and left with a bill of 1550$. Was told by the vet that she will come see me to talk about what happened when I will be there to see for the last time my puppy but never saw her. No comforting words by anyone working there. The DMV have better services and know how to talk to the people that considered they pet their babies. I really believe that they didn’t do their job properly and result in the passing of my little baby. Read Less

He was unable to make it back home and the entire staff at the Centre made a very difficult and stressful situation as soothing and easy as possible. I brought my rabbit on a Saturday for urgent treatment for symptoms of gastrointestinal stasis (an emergency in rabbits). We noticed a change in the size of the droppings that became small and the rabbit became weak, barely moving and not eating since the morning. The vet on call told us that he has never seen such an old and sick rabbit in his life and that his heart was weak. However, he offered no immediate help what so ever and showed no compassion. Instead, he presented us with a 1000$ bill of investigations to do if we wanted to save the rabbit's life. He did not even offer any medication to ease its discomfort (we had to ask for it) or to reduce its intestinal bloating. No attempt was made to rehydrate my rabbit even though I paid over 200$ for the visit. I brought my poor rabbit back home where it died in my arms a few hours later. My rabbit was 7 years old, sprayed, and never missed an annual check up. I always brought it for all minor problems such as a runny nose. The last check up was completely normal 4 months ago with some slowing down that was attributed to normal aging. According to them, nothing was amiss. Then, in the face of a real emergency, we did not get any basic help or even comfort treatment. So save your money on the vet bills at the CVL. Next time, I will go elsewhere or keep it for a new bunny. Read Less

My animal died today. He had regular check ups, the last being done 4 months ago, and always everything was fine. When I brought him in today, the vet on call said that he had never seen such an old and sick animal in his life. He offered no care or compassion, just a 1000$ bill of investigations for potential treatable causes or euthanasia. He died a few hours after the appointment with us at home. I am not angry since one day we will all die. I just do not see the point regular check ups or emergency care. Save your money. Save it for a new young healthy pet. Read Less

Very good service open 24h. They took good care of my parrot and they didn't even charge me a consultation even though I went very late. They are amazing.

I saw Dre Cournoyer Rodrigue in emergency for my boston terrier dog. she took great care of him. They did an emergency surgery in the evening. Expensive but my doggy is fine now.

Worst vet sold me pills bandages and saline water that i didnt need spoke to me like i wasnt worth any respect sent my dog back home with a broken paw and a 235$ bill the vet even told me that i would have to clean my dog wounds myself or she would charge me 40$ extra my dog had to endure the pain until la clinique veterinaire de lorimier opened where they immediatly took care of my dog within 24 hours and 155$ later my dog was on her way back to health i will avoid this place for the rest of my life as money matters more to them than the health of our pets Read Less

Absolutely terrible place. If you need an emergency please avoid this place, the DMV is better. Even my veterinarian tells their clients to avoid this place. They charge you needlessly, you have no idea what your total bill will come up to and you get surprise charges. A cone costed me 100$ where as the regular vet cost me 20$. Really? Everything is about triple the price that you would pay at the veterinarian. And I understand it's an emergency hospital, but what a scam. Just because you are open 24/7 allows you to charge everyone whatever you want? Sure a consultation should cost more. But medicine is medicine. My beloved pet died from a malignant cancer. I was very unhappy with the service and options that were being given to me from the oncologist, she lacked empathy and had me do extra test when in reality her cancer is terminal and I was not informed. Very bad experience. My dog had a seisure while they were trying to do an Ultrasound to verify why her liver seemed blocked. She walked in and I had to carry her out wimpering because she was in great pain. They said it would take 45 to 60 minutes and that I could go for a coffee. Since I hadn't eaten since early morning and it was already past 2pm, I went to McDonald's a couple of buildings away. I had just started eating when my cell phone rang. I was told the Vet wanted to talk to me ASAP. I had to through out my food since the only one person at the cash and she had a lineup of customers, I just rushed back to the hospital. I waited 40 minutes before she came to talk to me, just to be told that it would cost an extra $75.00 for me to speak to the vet and that is on top of the $774 I had to pay for the procedures. Then I was told she had a seisure. My dog never had a seisure before that and she was so sick afterwards that she was unable to stand, her hind legs just crumbled and she was in great pain. She was found on the Metropolitan Highway and I adopted her and saved her life 4 years ago. She might still be alive right now if I hadn't agreed to the Ultrasound aND biopsythe. She must have been so scared with all those strangers manipulating and forcing her. They had to sedate her because she was moving too much, and couldn't do the tests. She was such a good girl and so gentle. Too young to have died at 5 years old. I loved her and miss her so much. Read Less

Hello I have double feeling about this place. First- my cat got cancer. We didn't know about and brought him to this clinic. Be honest I don't remember the wet's name. But diagnosis was wrong- we tortured him for a week giving him pills he didn't need (against inflammation and some others). He could not eat and even drink water but we forced him to swallow it. My dear Vasya. Forgive us please. After a week of nightmares, wet sent him to oncology. A few days more and we had to put him to sleep. My 14 years cat. Why the wet could not recognize the incurable disease? Oppositely- I have two dogs, and we had no problems with all our problems there. Even more, my older one gave a birth to three beautiful girls in this clinic :-) The staff is nice, think they are real dog lovers, never experienced any problems. Services are good. Read Less
