Really i went there with my 3 month old puppy it was horrible the vet did not handle my pup properly and after the vaccine she was shaking like crazy and the prices over there where awful 60$ for a check up and to that 40$ for a vaccine Read Less

The environment was excessively nice, and when I saw my bill, I wondered how much of that went towards the nespresso machine and nice decor in the waiting room, as opposed to animal care. The vet was ok, nothing impressive, nothing that bothered me much. I decided to switch to a wonderful vet that does housecalls. When I called Acces Vet to send me a copy of the file, it was very difficult to reach someone. When I finally did, it was the day of my appointment with a new vet, and they wouldn't release the records without their vet's consent. Of course I only received the file the next morning, after my appointment with the new vet. In comparison, the vet that has the file for my 1st dog sent me the file during my phone call requesting it. Not impressed with the service or rates at Acces Vet! Read Less

Mon chat a eu un blocage urinaire à cause de cristaux coincés l'urètre... Nous sommes allé en urgence chez Accès Vet pour la première fois et je dois dire que l'équipe de Décarie en particulier est absolument excellente!! En gros notre petit minou était à environ une demi-journée de ne pas survivre, et tout a été fait à merveille pour le sauver. Après une petite intervention (radiographies, prise de sang, pose d'un cathéter, fluides intra-véneux) et 3 nuits d'hospitalisation (dans une belle grande cage avec ses fluides intra-véneux) nous l'avons récupéré, toujours un peu sous le choc mais vivant! Après quelques jours sous médications (antibiotiques, vaso-dilatateurs et anti-douleurs) il a retrouvé toute sa forme. Le suivi aussi a été excellent, les techniciens ainsi que le vet ont fait preuve d'un professionalisme, d'une compétence et d'une empathie sans pareils. DE VRAIS PASSIONNS!!! On tient à remercier mille fois, les réceptionnistes, les techniciennes (Jessica et Bao pour les nommer mais aussi toutes celles et ceux qui se sont occupés de notre chat) et Dr Vézina pour ses compétences, ses connaissances scientifiques et sa sympathie! Je recommande vivement cette clinique après en avoir expérimenté 2 autres à Montréal qui ne m'ont pas convaincues.Read Less

Acces Vet Ville Saint Laurent - My dog suffers from chronic ear infections and after having gone for a checkup I was given two bottles of medicine for his ear that was to expire within the month. When I called that same day to explain they kept tossing me around to different people avoiding the subject all together and I was told there was a note for me to be called back on my file and given a new bottle, but I work from home and had never received a call. I even went to the clinic myself yesterday with the unopened bottle requesting an exchange, not a discount on my next service or a discount on the bottle, I was told that whoever was responsible was not there. They even went so far as to say that I had misunderstood because I was an immigrant. So today, once again I called and was tossed around and promised a call back to discuss the simple exchange of an expired product. It's a little odd to see that a business would rather lose a customer than simply exchange an expired product, without even telling or showing me the expiry date in hopes that I would not notice. Bottom line, for all people looking for a vet I would not recommend them. My previous vet in another borough would never act in this manner for obvious reasons. I will definitely not be coming back here and would rather drive a half hour to see another doctor and staff. Also keep in mind that all 5 star reviews are from employees.Read Less

I too had pleasant previous experiences in the past and have even in the past had no problems with having my cat shaved there. However, this year, my cat came back INJURED with a cut on his butt and got charged for a job that wasn't accomplished. I too got the excuse that my cat was not well behaved and that's why they couldn't complete the shave. I don't understand why they didn't let me in the room with him this time around, all previous years, he sat there quietly while I petted him. Definitely never going back. Read Less

I brought my normally-healthy 5-year-old cat in with stomach pain and vomiting. THE GOOD: I've been visiting this vet since I got my cat and, while she has never been an especially soft touch (loud, un-soothing tone of voice and brisk manner), I trusted her diagnostic ability. As usual, I think the vet identified the problem. The rates were expensive, of course, but not more than I really expected to pay. THE BAD: My cat came back to me injured (a rear claw had been ripped out) and soaked in her own urine. Their explanation was that it's MY CAT'S fault. She's "mean" and refused handling. Actually, she's a very sweet cat, but very nervous. I thought that, as veterinary practitioners, they might have learned to spot the difference between a mean cat and a terrified one, and that they'd be able to handle both kinds regardless, without injuring them. Overall, I'm very disappointed, and intend to seek other veterinary care in future. While past visits have been fair (maybe 2/3) I do not trust them anymore with my cat's safety.Read Less
