I went a couple of years ago because my cat was injured and I really learned a lot from her at the time so when my cat had an issue with her mouth/eye recently I made an appointment right away with her again. I almost put her down that day because I was told it is most likely cancer and in an older cat I just can't justify all the expense and stress on her so she was sent home with antibiotics because of the infection she had and I was to go back on Monday. Monday comes and I... go to the clinic and am told that the vet isn't even in. It is a lot of stress and difficulty to get my cat into her carrier let alone to the vet and she hates it so I was very disappointed in them for having me come all that way for nothing. Very unprofessional. Then again later this week I was worried I might have to put her down and I made an appointment for the next day at 11. Then not long after I was called to say actually we can't do that at 11, only 1. I think that the majority of this comes down to the support staff and not the vet herself. She is really informative and cares a lot about cats and you can see that. But as a result of this I am not going back to this vet. I decided as long as my kitty is eating and purring that I will give her a peaceful life for whatever she has left in her, as long as the good days outweigh the bad and when the time comes I will go back to my old vet closer to home. I can't praise this clinic enough. I've been a client at this clinic ever since it opened. Dr. Spooner and her staff work hard for every patient and deserve to be commended for their compassion and dedication. You never feel like you're just a number here. It bothers me to see negative reviews over petty issues because it could potentially deprive somebody from getting great care. The fact that it's a a feline-only clinic is definitely an asset. Beware. I started using Hill's metabolic diet August 2014 since my cat needed to lose weight. As a promotion for this expensive product, I was told by the vet clinic that if I buy 3 bags, I would get 1 free. Well, when I went to pick up my free bag, the vet did not have any in stock but they said they would put one aside for me. I was unable to come to the clinic the next week. When I went there the following week, I was told someone else had picked up my free bag, claiming it was for my cat. I asked the vet if that person had signed for it and she said no. I asked for the person's name but the vet said she had not asked since the person knew my cat's name. Now the vet refuses to give me my free bag. This is unfair. Why should I have to pay for the vet's mistake? If they leave information lying around their clinic that an immoral person can read and use to their advantage, why should I suffer for it? I am not a liar and I believe this vet should do the right thing and give me the free bag that I am entitled to receive instead of treating me like some kind of con artist. Read Less

We have two cats and have been going to this clinic for several years. Dr. Spooner takes the time to listen to our concerns and doesn't rush us when we have questions. Her assistant Geneviève is very knowledgeable, and we always feel at ease when we speak with her. I have 2 kittens vaccinated this week. After few hours, one of the two was not well (fever, crying , leg pain). I phoned the clinic, veterinary told me she could not do anything for me because they were closing and if I was worried I could take the kitten to the vet emergency hospital. She did not at all reassured me, not giving me any information about the discomforts of the kitten. I got some information with a lady holding a cat shelter. Jai fait vacciner 2 chatons cette semaine. Au retour à la maison, un des deux nallait pas bien (fièvre, pleur, douleur à la patte). Jai téléphoné à la clinique, la vétérinaire ma dit quelle ne pouvait rien faire pour moi car ils allaient fermer et que si jétais inquiète, je pouvais amener le chaton à lhpital vétérinaire en urgence. Elle ne ma pas du tout rassurée, ne me donnant aucune information sur les malaises du chaton. Jai obtenu quelques renseignements avec une dame qui tient un refuge pour chat. Read Less
