WOW!!! What more can I say!! I've never felt so much confidence in a veterinary institution as I did with CHUV! They are the best in the country without a doubt! I came in from out of town with my little dog and we were both treated with great respect, compassion and professionalism! The front desk staff were smiling and friendly, the security lady helped me with parking, the interns were so upbeat and knowledgable! The surgeon and assisting surgeon were absolutely wonderful and I knew my little dog would get the best care possible! I had the best of the best performing his specialized procedure - PCCL. This procedure is a day surgery for the removal of bladder stones. The surgeon followed up with me immediately after the procedure and I was really impressed! My little dog is now doing very, very well. He has recovered very quickly! Why would I put my dog through a full surgery (which is all the was offered in my city - Ottawa) to remove stones and have my animal in pain and require extended healing time (weeks) when there is this option to have him in and out of the same day with PCCL! In fact, he wanted to play ball by day 3 after the procedure! He is doing great! I would absolutely recommend CHUV to anyone requiring care/procedures for their pets!
