No medical notes taken by the vet while I was there giving extensive details about our cat multiple medical conditions and dosage of all his medications. Blood work done. I had asked for antinauseal medication but the vet had forgotten at the end of the consultation, had to ask for it. No hydration suggested. They could not find a vein, shaved the whole anterior neck and 2 trials for punctures in the jugular veins to get blood. How can this be possible now that the animal is on iv hydratation given on his leg by another clinic the next day because he is dehydrated ? Multiple medications that were not given or suggested to end the pain endured by our animal.
I should have followed the suggestion to go to DMV in Lachine. They are as pricey as Valleyfield but at least they know what they are doing.
Will not go there ever for my beloved animal. Avoid!!!!! If I had read the testimonies before going there, I would have driven the extra 20 mi to get proper management. The one written by a client on Dec 2021 is horrific!!!! How can this happen in a so called humane society?
Of note, staff wear mask under their nose in a pandemic. No respect as far as I concerned for sanitary measures for their clients. What is their boss saying about this???? He surely knows because himself has the mask under his nose half of the time.
I made my case.
Now our dear paw friend is hospitalized and receiving multiple medications under the supervision of competent professionals. Read Less

Read Less

Good service depending of which veterinarian you get. First time my wife went there for our cat the specialist talked about a sever heart condition she could hear when it wasn't related to the problem at hand and when I went back for a follow-up this other veterinarian double checked to be sure and assured me she was certain there was no problem with my cat's heart. I guess some are in it for the money and other for passion. Read Less
