I took my dog here for the first time for shots. Got his shots done and a check up. I was told he needed some teeth pulled and recieved a quote for $1600 to $1900. They pressured me to book it then as they had a dental sale in February. I said I would talk to my wife. I recieved a voicemail saying I had missed an appointment on Feb.20th. I thought to myself "seriously they just booked it anyway?" Turns out it was for a booster shot I was never told about. So I booked an appointment and took him back. When Dr.Ulmer came in she said "I'm just going to check him real quick". She looked at him for around 1 min, then gave him a shot. When I received the bill it was $24 for the shot and $93.24 for a check up. I told the girl working the front counter I had paid for this last time I was here. She said she'd talk to Dr.Ulmer. Dr.Ulmer told me that's the charge. I said you should be ashamed for charging that and you are purposely gouging customers and I will post this to social media so everyone knows this. She asked me to come back in and talk about it, I did. She agreed to drop the check up charge. I told her a popular Veterinary Clinic quoted me a substantially cheaper price for his teeth and she told me they are a high volume clinic, that pushes out patients and do not give the same service they do. Essentially telling me they are a second rate veterinary clinic. I was just going to drop it and move on. That was until they sent me a letter today dated March. 7th telling me I was inappropriate, extremely disrespectful and my dog and I are banned. So now I feel terrible and will call and apologize tomorrow. Just kidding! They are dishonest and will try and double charge you, and assume or just hope you don't say anything, and I believe they are overpriced. They are also unethical in that they will insult and demean another competitor to their customers when they are told they are overpriced compared to their competition. Stay far away!!! Read Less

I went in to have my dog checked for an ear infection, which she did indeed have. My bill came to $195.00. I have been to vets before for ear infections and I have never had a bill nearing this amount. I felt this amount was absolutely ridiculous. I won't return. Read Less

Had a terrific first visit with my new puppy. Staff and technicians were helpful and great to deal with. Dr. Potts spent lots of time answering my questions and getting to know my dog. Great to feel like the people looking after my dog's health care about me AND my pet!! Read Less

I definely recommend Wascana Animal Hospital. I have used this clinic for the past 12 years and have never been disappointed. When taking my pet for appointments, I never feel rushed or that my concerns are not valid. I always feel that my pet is receiving the best care possible care regardless of the treatment being given. Everyone at the clinic is very personable and demonstrates good interpersonal skills. The one aspect I appreciate most is that I am always able to get in to see a veterinarian should my pet be in dire need of medical attention. And as a customer, I have no problem waiting should someone else's pet be in need of immediate medical attention and my appointment delayed to accommodate that pet needing immediate medical attention. It is my feeling that as owners, Dr. Potts and Dr.Ulmer are doing an excellent job to create a business and atmosphere that is welcoming to clients. Also, in reading customer reviews coupled with business responses it is obvious that you as owners value feedback and are willing to address any comments that may be raised by others. I have been going to this clinic for 15 years with my cats. They have always been compassionate and caring of my animals regardless of whom i see. Everyone that works there whether its the receptionist, the techs at the back or any of the vets are all very knowledgeable. I love this clinic ! Read Less

I've been bringing my Boston here for 4 years and my Blood hound before that, and this clinic has been amazing. The staff have always been super friendly and helpful, even if I have any quick questions. Dr. Potts is great and has been a great doc for my pup. Dr Potts & staff were amazing with my kitten Zoesph who had to get an emergency surgery. He did an excellent incision on him, which is healing very nicely. Whenever I had worries, they told us to come in & Zoesph's checkups were included in his surgery cost already. Dr Potts always gave me very thorough instructions for Zoesph's medication. They really care about our pets. Won't go anywhere else, Dr Potts will be Zoesph's doctor fur ever! Read Less
