Tomorrow will be a difficult day for our family having to put our dog down after 16 great years. Dr. Dave and the entire staff have been so good to us over the years and we are so happy they will be with us tomorrow. Dr. Dave continues to impress me each visit. We have already added to our family another dog and will continue to go to Furry Friends because they have treated us and will continue to look after our new pups health going forward. I take my little dog Buddy here to have his nails cut. He is very upset by this and has to be given a shot to sleep before he has them cut and stays for a few hours after cor observation. Dr. Dave is extremely awesome and caring. He treats my little boy so good when I take him there and I dont feel upset or worry at all to have to leave him in their care. He is the only vet in all my years of vet visits who calls personally to check and see how everything is going after we have had this done. I highly recomend Furry Friends! ❤

Dr Nairn & the staff at Furry Friends are incredibly pleasant to deal with.
The nurse was great at distracting our kitty, with light blowing on her face, as she got her sutures (stitches) removed. We also forgot something at the vet's office, and when I said I would try to get it before they closed that day, the front desk lady assured me it would be there waiting.
I have nothing but good things to say about this office! In the two times we have been there, they have made me feel comfortable and confident that they will treat our pet appropriately and make her feel as comfortable as possible as well.

I am from out of town and came by to pick up a product for my upset cat. The vet (Dr Dave) came out and discussed the new product in detail, gave me tips for dealing with the behavioural issue and ensured I had a good plan. This was totally unexpected and very much appreciated. If I still lived in Saskatoon I would move my pets here in a heartbeat. He was also very caring and professional in taking care of my parents family dog in his final months of life. You will not find a better vet and front staff!

Dr. David Nairn removed 3 eyelid tumours from from my 6 year old Brittany Spaniel. He did a wonderful job and she looks beautiful. David called to check up on her the following day after her surgery and each visit he showed compassion and affection for my sweet girl. We will definitely be bringing both our Brittanies to him again! Also, his prices are far lower than any of the three other quotes we got for the lumpectomies.

Dr Dave and his staff are absolutely amazing. Today was a very tough day as we had to let our very dear beloved friend cross the Rainbow Bridge. Dr Dave provided the best care and follow up for her. Anytime we ever went in with Amber he always personally called us to follow up and see how she was doing. Making the decision today to let her go and play with her sister was made easier by Dr Dave just being there to listen to us. He never rushed us to just get it done in a hurry it was done when we felt we were ready. After everything was done we just stayed in the room with her until we were ready to leave. Stepping out of the room I was given a big hug by one of the girls and told if there was anything we needed to not even hesitate to call. While we miss Amber very much she will come home to us again and her urn will be placed next to our other Fur babies. Thanks Dr. Dave and staff.

Gave me completely inaccurate diagnosis for my cat. Apparently she's allergic to her collar? Gave me absolutely no other options, and said that if not an allergy to the collar it's an allergy to something else. WRONG. Switched her diet completely, took the collar off her for over a month, have recently put the collar back on and she's fine. Now from what I understand she has a skin fungus, or ringworm. So thank you vet for taking my money and giving me wrong info. We won't be back also no tests were taken, or even discussed. So it's nice to know you do whatever you can to help an animal. But thanks for the collar suggestion.

Dr. Nairn saved my cat Shelby's life! She came into the clinic as a before hours emergency suffering from an insulin overdose (10 times the correct dose) due to a pharmacist error. @ 4am Shelby went into major seizures, & luckily I was close by, heard her, & reacted quickly bringing honey to put on her gums. We didn't know how serious it was until Dr. Abel Akon (City Mobile Vet) came over an hour later & realized the overdose. He gave her 4 vials of syrup & arranged for Dr. Nairn to meet us at his clinic. She registered at 1.4 blood sugar, we were told the next 24 hours were critical & it could go either way. Dr. Nairn contacted us throughout the day, evening & the next morning said Shelby was pissed right off! I finally knew she would be ok, I had my Shelby back! I can't thank Dr. Nairn & his staff enough for saving her life. The vet bill was more than fair & there was a surprising $90 good client discount! Shelby is still pissed at Dr. Nairn for all the needles & for shaving her beautiful fur, she is sharpening her claws for her 30 day follow up appointment.... Round 2 Dr. Nairn, & now Shelby's in good shape!

Dr. Nairn and his staff are the best out there. I recently had to make the tough decision to put my dog Swiffer to sleep after a consult with Dr. Dave. I made the appointment and was very concerned about the procedure and the aftercare of the body so I had many questions. He took the time to explain the procedure, explained how Swiffer would react, and how his body would be handled. That brought peace to both me and my daughter who was with me. It was the most peaceful experience for us and for Swiffer. His pain is over now and in a better place. A few days later I received a sympathy card from the animal hospital with the most beautiful paw print impression of my dog. Just knowing they took the time to do that for our family speaks volumes about the type of people Dr Dave and his staff are. This most memorable keepsake will be framed and hung in our home fur-ever.

Cannot recommend Dr. Nairn enough. He was so kind and informative, very gentle with the animals and provided us with clear directions for our pets. The receptionist was so friendly and very quick to schedule us in. It has a very friendly, comfortable, small-community feel to the clinic and we felt at home there. Thrilled we get to take all our animals there!

Dr Dave and his staff are absolutely amazing. Today was a very tough day as we had to let our very dear beloved friend cross the Rainbow Bridge. Dr Dave provided the best care and follow up for her. Anytime we ever went in with Amber he always personally called us to follow up and see how she was doing. Making the decision today to let her go and play with her sister was made easier by Dr Dave just being there to listen to us. He never rushed us to just get it done in a hurry it was done when we felt we were ready. After everything was done we just stayed in the room with her until we were ready to leave. Stepping out of the room I was given a big hug by one of the girls and told if there was anything we needed to not even hesitate to call. While we miss Amber very much she will come home to us again and her urn will be placed next to our other Fur babies. Thanks Dr. Dave and staff.

Gave me completely inaccurate diagnosis for my cat. Apparently she's allergic to her collar? Gave me absolutely no other options, and said that if not an allergy to the collar it's an allergy to something else. WRONG. Switched her diet completely, took the collar off her for over a month, have recently put the collar back on and she's fine. Now from what I understand she has a skin fungus, or ringworm. So thank you vet for taking my money and giving me wrong info. We won't be back also no tests were taken, or even discussed. So it's nice to know you do whatever you can to help an animal. But thanks for the collar suggestion.

I needed care for one of my dogs in May and was very impressed with the service I received.So much so, that I moved all my dogs (3) records to the clinic. Yesterday I had them in for a check up and shots and today I received a call from him inquiring as to how they were doing. Thank you for your wonderful caring nature. Dr. Nairn saved my cat Shelby's life! She came into the clinic as a before hours emergency suffering from an insulin overdose (10 times the correct dose) due to a pharmacist error. @ 4am Shelby went into major seizures, & luckily I was close by, heard her, & reacted quickly bringing honey to put on her gums. We didn't know how serious it was until Dr. Abel Akon (City Mobile Vet) came over an hour later & realized the overdose. He gave her 4 vials of syrup & arranged for Dr. Nairn to meet us at his clinic. She registered at 1.4 blood sugar, we were told the next 24 hours were critical & it could go either way. Dr. Nairn contacted us throughout the day, evening & the next morning said Shelby was pissed right off! I finally knew she would be ok, I had my Shelby back! I can't thank Dr. Nairn & his staff enough for saving her life. The vet bill was more than fair & there was a surprising $90 good client discount! Shelby is still pissed at Dr. Nairn for all the needles & for shaving her beautiful fur, she is sharpening her claws for her 30 day follow up appointment.... Round 2 Dr. Nairn, & now Shelby's in good shape!

Dr. Nairn and his staff are the best out there. I recently had to make the tough decision to put my dog Swiffer to sleep after a consult with Dr. Dave. I made the appointment and was very concerned about the procedure and the aftercare of the body so I had many questions. He took the time to explain the procedure, explained how Swiffer would react, and how his body would be handled. That brought peace to both me and my daughter who was with me. It was the most peaceful experience for us and for Swiffer. His pain is over now and in a better place. A few days later I received a sympathy card from the animal hospital with the most beautiful paw print impression of my dog. Just knowing they took the time to do that for our family speaks volumes about the type of people Dr Dave and his staff are. This most memorable keepsake will be framed and hung in our home fur-ever.
