I have been to a few different vets trying to find a place I felt comfortable bringing my two cats to. I'm staying here. There is such a kindness in this office and a sincere desire to do what's best for the animals. It's amazing to go somewhere and feel like it's about the well-being of my pets over making money. I walked in this morning, a blubbering mess because my 18 year old cat had taken a turn for the worst the night previous. I didn't have an appointment but I didn't know what else to do because he was in pain and I was sort of panicked about it. Everyone at river heights handled the situation so professionally but most importantly to me, compassionately. They've always been great to our pets, very understanding and accommodating. Our cats have always left happy, and seem comfortable with the vets when we drop them off and pick them up. Unfortunately had to have a pet put down, but they handled it very well and made it as easy for us as they could. We later received a sympathy card in the mail from them, which I thought was a nice and caring gesture. From some things I've heard their rates can be slightly higher than other places, despite this fact I will continue to go to them for any/all veterinary needs. Quality of treatment is excellent and the follow-up is on point. They treat us and our animals wonderfully, and that's worth a lot. I couldn't recommend them enough. The Dr's and staff seem nice. Was Recommended to this Vet. Don't call during 12 and 1pm, I did not know they were closed during this time, as they do not have an answering machine or answering service. The Lady who answered the phone was rude and kept cutting me off. Read Less
