A good Veterniary service is such an important thing to a person who owns an animal or animals. It was a sad story that resulted in me finding my way to Vetcare as I lost one of my much loved little Jack Russell Terriers due to a failure to diagnose what was wrong with her and she died within a week, the last two days of which she spent alone at the first Vet's clinic. Within a couple of days, her twin sister began to display similar symptoms and I decided immediately that I was going to take her to Vetcare instead. Well, within minutes, the Vet had diagnosed that she had acute Pancreatitis and they took her to Athy to scan her and try to treat her. They saved her life and they gave her a long life but not without many an issue along the way but they were always spot on with their diagnosis and in having respect for the human being who was there too and obviously distressed. They never once let me down and in ways that would take forever to describe, they went out of their way to do their best and facilitate me too in all of it. When my little buddy finally passed it was in the clinic in Athy and my heart was broken and I said I would never again have a dog as it was just too difficult when you lose them. Well, six months later I have two little imps that I got from a rescue centre and I wouldn't be without them. I expect this means that my relationship with Vetcare Carlow will be an ongoing thing but I can't speak more highly of them. Read Less

I like that they have multiple locations so in emergencies the medical records of the dogs are kept up to date regardless of which practice I go to. I see the 1 star review on Google but it does not reflect my experience there in any way. Read Less
