The guy running this practice is one of the most arrogant people i've ever encountered, the way he spoke to me was very degrading,,,It was like he was speaking to another vet and i didn't have a clue what he was on about , in a nutshell he made me feel like a complete fool, It was like anything that went on outside his practice was wrong and anything sold outside his shop was no good, My dog suffers with allergies and was throwing up , i explained that he was after eating something that he was allergic to (thinking I was helping the situation) and his answer was "how do you know what he's allergic to" . I told him that i got the dog tested for allergies and he completely blew off what I said , telling me that allergy tests are no good , I felt like a right tool so my reply was "era it only cost 120 euro to which his reply was "Pfffft 120 euro"
I got very annoyed at this stage and asked are you gonna help my dog are not? His assistant came out and took over from him , after the checkup he came back to me and started to try and talk my into buying a lot of unnecessary things for the dog,
I'd say there are ISIS members out there with better people skills than this man, I was furious leaving the place , NEVER AGAIN!!!

Ok, I'd love to send you a current picture of my healthy dog that I made the huge mistake of bringing to this establishment last October. My dog had a tiny lump in his eyelid that had me concerned (but not overly). He was showing no discomfort but I felt I'd better get it checked. My regular vet had moved premises and I dont drive, so decided to try somewhere within walking distance. First thing I was asked 'is your dog insured?'.....for anyone reading this? RED ALERT!!!!
My dog was put under anasthetic and biopsied and I left one hour later with no medication for my poor disorientated dog feeling pure deflated. Even had to get a cab home because my dog was too drowsy. Fast forward one week! I get a phone call from a vet with a foreign accent who coldly tells me my dog has traces of tuberculosis in his biopsy results???? Devestated!!! I take him to a different vet who assures me my dog is not dying. To add insult to injury, the vet that originally put my dog under unnecessary anaesthetic decides to then email me the lab findings and why I should bring my dog back to PawPaw Clinic as he needed immediate expensive treatment to save him from this killer illness. One of these prognosis decisions was to amputate his infected eye????????????? My beautiful dog has two extra beautiful healthy eyes to this day. Really wish I could be mean enough to campaign publicly through social media...and expose this ugly vetinary practice, but I wont...for now! If you love your pet? Please dont bring them here!!!!! They will over diagnose and you will be paying for treatment that's not needed. Furthermore, the receptionist is the owner who gives you a big sob story about his mothers devoted dog, secretly sussing how devoted you are to your pet (and how much you're willing to spend). Creepy place! AVOID!!!!

I am so grateful to the staff at Pawpaws for the care they have taken on my pets over the last few years. I am so glad they have opened this branch in Cork. It is such a different experience going to a veterinary practice like this. So professional, clean and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. When we had to have one of our beloved pets euthanized they were so compassionate and kind to us. They allowed us private time to say goodbye and left us with our cat for as long as possible. Afterwards they allowed us time to recover as well. I have never had an experience like this having been a pet owner all my life and had to euthanize a few over the years. Our other pet would not be alive either without the amazing care and dedication they show to every animal that walks in the door. Early detection of a potentially fatal disease prevented us from losing our dog not once but twice over the years. She is now so healthy and lively at 10 years old. People find it hard to believe she is not a puppy. Thank you to all at pawpaws from Ron the manager right down to the veterinary assistants who are so gentle in their caring for pets. Their amazing Vets are always happy to answer questions too and never make you feel rushed. They give you all the time you need as they understand that your pet is the most important thing in the world.

I am truly blessed to have found Paw Paws Vet Clinic. Words cant express the immense gratitude I feel towards the team of Doctors that I had the pleasure of dealing with. Ron is an absolute gentleman, who took care of my every need. From the first minutes he made me feel at ease. Adriana the vet that mainly cared for my dear little Estelle, is highly knowledgable and was thorough in the process. The complete package is what recieved from Paw Paws taking all the stressing pressure off me. I would highly recommend this professional team to any pet owner.

I recently got 3 month old boxer so needed to get the usual check up and vaccines . Everyone at Paw Paws was amazing, very good with her, very gently and you could see that my dog was relaxed and not stressed during the check up. They gave me all information and tips I needed to have for my puppy. It was a lot more than just getting an injection and a check up. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Nothing but the best from start to finish. Met with Dr. Dimitri who was caring and professional from the beginning. Without hesitation I booked one of our little girls in to have her checked over. She was showered with attention in the quiet calm surroundings of the clinic, and became quite the little favorite. Can't recommend the team highly enough. They are calm, quiet, and very thorough and do most certainly care about animals.

From the moment I set foot into PawPaws I knew I had found the right veterinarian clinic. I was met by Dr. Dimitri who personally took me through all the options regarding my three year old cat.

From the moment I set foot into PawPaws I knew I had found the right veterinarian clinic. I was met by Dr. Dimitri who personally took me through all the options regarding my three year old cat.
When we brought her in the following day, it was Dr. Spyros who attended her. With the attention given to her and the experience of the vets she was immediately purring like a kitten.
A little surgery later, and a rather rotten tooth removed, Coco was in her element with all the love and care shown to her. We collected her late in the afternoon, and welcomed back a happy well-rested pain-free precious pet.
The aftercare advice was second to none, the clinic is clean and bright, with many facilities on site. The staff are exceptionally caring, and excel at what they do.
The consultation fees are very reasonable, and everything was discussed prior to admission. I was not presented with an exhorbitant bill. Instead, a itemised crystal clear invoice that listed all that had been spoken about.
I would not for one minute hesitate to recommend PawPaws to anyone who asks. There wasn't one ounce of trouble, no hidden fees, and most importantly we came home with a very happy cat.

Cannot express enough how happy we are to be clients of Pawpaws. We recently had a very sick dog who has been restored to full health against the odds. This is due to the excellent care and skills of the staff at Pawpaws.
Never have I experienced the level these people go to to ensure your animal receives the very best care. We are so grateful to have our dog back to full health, and so glad we chose Pawpaws as our vet. I would like to give it more than five stars if it were possible. Thank you to all at Pawpaws.
We took our dog there for a small complaint. When they offered a blood test to get a better picture we agreed. This showed up a life threatening disease which could have meant the loss of our dog. It was the sharp eyes of the vet who noticed the blood sample didn't look right and investigated further.

I love how open and clean it is in there, the staff are highly competent and very friendly, they put you and your pet at ease immediately. I have a 2yr old cat and a new kitten who arrived with a cold virus and was having trouble opening one of his eyes that morning. We were seen immediately and there was a noticeable improvement in both of them within 24 hrs. I especially like how the examination rooms are glass so that you can see what is going on at any stage and you know your pet is in good hands, i think that is invaluable to any pet owner! Thank you for making the vets visit as easy as possible!

I am so grateful to the staff at Pawpaws for the care they have taken on my pets over the last few years. I am so glad they have opened this branch in Cork. It is such a different experience going to a veterinary practice like this. So professional, clean and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. When we had to have one of our beloved pets euthanized they were so compassionate and kind to us. They allowed us private time to say goodbye and left us with our cat for as long as possible. I am truly blessed to have found Paw Paws Vet Clinic. Words cant express the immense gratitude I feel towards the team of Doctors that I had the pleasure of dealing with. Ron is an absolute gentleman, who took care of my every need. From the first minutes he made me feel at ease. Everyone at Paw Paws was amazing, very good with her, very gently and you could see that my dog was relaxed and not stressed during the check up. Brought my rabbit to get her nails cut. He cut them way too short. He cut the vane in her nails. He wouldn't let me go in with her. He hurt my rabbit. No wonder he didn't wantme to go in with her. He was a cocky person. Didn't even say sorry for cutting them so sort. My rabbit seems very scared. She was shaking. I would never ever go there again. Horrible horrible man. Cannot express enough how happy we are to be clients of Pawpaws. We recently had a very sick dog who has been restored to full health against the odds. This is due to the excellent care and skills of the staff at Pawpaws.
Never have I experienced the level these people go to to ensure your animal receives the very best care. We are so grateful to have our dog back to full health, and so glad we chose Pawpaws as our vet. I would like to give it more than five stars if it were possible. Thank you to all at Pawpaws.
We took our dog there for a small complaint. When they offered a blood test to get a better picture we agreed. This showed up a life threatening disease which could have meant the loss of our dog. It was the sharp eyes of the vet who noticed the blood sample didn't look right and investigated further.

I love how open and clean it is in there, the staff are highly competent and very friendly, they put you and your pet at ease immediately. I have a 2yr old cat and a new kitten who arrived with a cold virus and was having trouble opening one of his eyes that morning. We were seen immediately and there was a noticeable improvement in both of them within 24 hrs. I especially like how the examination rooms are glass so that you can see what is going on at any stage and you know your pet is in good hands, i think that is invaluable to any pet owner! Thank you for making the vets visit as easy as possible!
