Declan is the best vet I have come across. Not only is he kind and caring with an almost magical way with animals, transforming our semi feral cat, that sent another supposed cat specialist for medical treatment due to a long scratch on her arm (lol) into a toy kitten with his expert touch, but he is also very conscious and accommodating towards the cost of treatment. He also came out specially out of hour times to treat two of our pets. A breath of fresh air from vets who have transformed into sales operatives pushing expensive and often unnecessary procedures and products on to you. Can't recommend him highly enough. Read Less

Declan and his team saved our golden retriever a few years ago when we were away. Besides taking Bugsy in on a sunday he also mursed him through the night and truly brought him back from deaths door. Bugsy is now passed away but we had many good years extra with Bugsy due to Declans expertise and willing heart. Read Less

Dec is a very friendly man who calms his patients and their owners with his gentle voice. He is the most capable vets I've come across. He is very good with our dog Axel. Axel doesn't even mind going to the vet. Seems to like it. Dec is a great vet and he has very friendly staff who know what they're talking about. I recommend Dec highly! Read Less

Vent for check up with the vet, doc was on holidays, check up done not profesional, who ever was checking my dog ( breed russian toy, around 1.4 kg in weight) was affraid of him, however was charged full check up price. Never again, never recomend this place to anyone Read Less

I cannot rate The Village Veterinary Clinic highly enough. They took great care of our last dog and were so empathetic when we had to put him to sleep. Fantastic vet. Really goes above and beyond the call of duty. I'm forever grateful for him doing amazing work with my dog when he lost a leg. Declan took care of our Dog Sammy last week, she had an operation on her knee and was kept in overnight, she was so well looked after and I felt so comfortable leaving her there, we are back next week to get her stitches out, Declan is so genuine and kind with animals and takes such interest.
