Excellent veterinary hospital, who vets and nurses go above and beyond to look after the care of the animals. Vet Zara saved our dog Lillys life when she was very poorly, and helped us get her back to full health. She looked after her so well and you can tell she cares very much about the animals she cares for. The nurses are also very caring and gentle very nervous dogs. I was very disappointed with the service in anicare yesterday, took my pet in with a problem, he was seen to in 5 mins and wasn't checked over for nay more issues I paid a consultation fee for 5 mins and non the wiser I was told about new tablet for for my 2 dogs , but I think I should have been informed of price etc and that I didn't need these tablets for 3 months maybe a month and would be cheaper. just felt it was a rushed visit. My 8 month old pup Belle enjoys her visits. She had to go in for monitoring two weeks ago,having gotten hold of my meditation. Fintan and all the staff, including Stephanie and Aine all made a highly stressful situation more manageable. I would not entrust Belle to simply anyone, but I know that she receives the best treatment, care and lots of genuine affection from the staff. To ensure all was well and back to normal, Fintan did frequent bloods and physical checks, until certain there were no ill effects from Belle's adventure. My puppy is 8 months old now,and when I got her in early December, looking for a veterinary practice was one of my top priorities. A first time pet owner,I have the number in my phone,and can ring and there is always a friendly, helpful voice on the other end. They have advised me and reassured me and I appreciate everything they have done to make having Belle easier.With animals you cannot fake it, and with Fintan and the team, I know Belle will be in the best hands for years to come. I would like to say that our rescue dog George loves going to visit Blanchardstown Veterinary Hospital. I am not surprised as he is treated with such care and lots of attention from all the staff and in particular the Vets. Poor George was very sick last year. We contacted the Hospital and expressed our concern for George. They told us to bring him over immediately and they would look after him. He had to stay there for a few days and he got great medical care from Fintan and the nurses. Today we have a happy and healthy dog who loves to visit his Vet and, of course, play ball with them. I think if we were to ask George how many stars he would give Blanchardstown Veterinary Hospital it would definitely be five plus. Thanks to them he is alive and well and can enjoy his life. It is always a good sign when you see your dog wagging his tail when he goes to visit his Vet. That's the biggest compliment of all.Read Less

We are sad to leave the best veterinary hospital there is, because we're emigrating abroad but we're hoping to find a vet's hospital at least half as good as Anicare is.Anicare staff (Blanchardstown Veterinary Hospital) are by far the most considerate, friendly, caring and trusting vets and nurses we've ever met. They are not afraid to think outside the box and/or liaise with other professionals when it comes to your pet's health. They are a powerful dynamo. Our main vet Fintan is the most professional and animal friendly person we've ever seen. Of course you could say that about any vet out there, but Fintan just goes that extra mile for the customer to ensure the pet and the owner benefits from the most information, research, methods, medicines, behavioural information and so on that there is out there. We were always informed very well and given many options to choose from that which we felt most comfortable with.Anicare is always easy to reach and their night vets are also very helpful should your pet need assistance after business hours. You are sure to know that your pet is in the best hands and care with Anicare. :)We couldn't be happier to have had the pleasure of having Anicare looking after our dog so well.We give them our highest recommendation. We have been bringing Toby here since he received his first vaccinations - 9 years ago.  The practice itself is located off the main street with ample parking.I am sure if they had the equivalent of a frequent flyer program then we must be Gold level at this stage but I guess that is what happens when you have a Cavalier King Charles.The staff are excellent and I cannot speak highly enough of Fintan who Toby attends 90% of the time. He is friendly, patient and from my point of view very knowledgeable about the breed of dog that we have.  No doubt that Vets are costly but when you get a dog you should be cognizant of that and be prepared.
