Such a wonderful team here in Clontarf Veterinary Hospital, all of the staff - receptionist, nurses and vets - are so caring and helpful and have looked after my dog so well throughout numerous health issues, whether it's a simple query or she's staying over night for treatment. She is always happy to be left with the nurses when dropping her off and I know she receives not only excellent medical care but such kindness and TLC whenever she's at the vets. Couldn't recommend the team at Clontarf highly enough. Read Less

Have visited Anicare Clontarf much more than I would like in the past year with a poorly pup, but they looked after us so well. All of the vets and nurses and staff clearly care very much about the well being of their patients, and between the research they did (particularly Daragh) to try and find a solution to my dogs issues, and the follow up care ; I feel they went above and beyond. The staff in the Santry branch were also just as attentive and caring (we just had to move to Clontarf for the x ray machine). Read Less

This is by far the best vets that you will find anywhere in my opinion, having been with several vets over the years. Tanis, Darragh, Tracy and the rest of the team are very much people persons as well as being excellent with your pet and genuinely love their animal patients. Cannot do enough for you and are fantastic at explaining symptoms, diagnosis and treatments, even drawing a personalised diagram on a whiteboard! I'm fortunate to live close by but I would travel any distance to secure this level of care for my dog. Thanks guysRead Less

A veterinary practice I would genuinely recommend to others. Myself and my beagle puppy have moved to Dublin from the UK and Clontarf Veterinary Hospital is my first port of call should I have any concerns with him. They are thorough and reassuring, I feel that they listen well and really care about the well-being of your pet. It is a real comfort to know I have them available should we need them. They performed neutering surgery on Jameson, as well as attending to him with any illnesses. Most recently he began treatment for a condition difficult to identify; luckily, the staff here spotted it early and he is doing much better, all thanks to them. I have left this review as I believe it is important for people to choose a vet that they feel safe in the hands of, and I feel confident in my own experiences with them that others should have such a peace of mind in their care. Many thanks, Clontarf Veterinary Hospital! Read Less

I have to say that I was overwhelmed with the level of professionalism displayed by all members of the team at Clontarf Veterinary Hospital. Previously, and for over 30 years, we had taken our pets to a different practice, but sadly we were losing faith in the care provided at that practice. However, following a strong recommendation from a friend, we decided to take our new kitten (Phoebe) to anicare vets at Clontarf. Now, as any pet owner will tell you, a visit to the vet is a process and not just a single event. The initial phone call to make an appointment was handled courteously, efficiently and professionally. When we arrived for our appointment that afternoon, I was immediately reassured by the level of activity in the reception area. This was a busy practice accustomed to handling multiple clients simultaneously. Phoebe was examined by vet Tanis Turley, one of the practice leaders, I believe, and I was immediately reassured by her skill, ability and professionalism. This lady is clearly from the top drawer and at the top of her profession. On subsequent visits, Phoebe was seen by other members of the practice and it was evident that the same level of care and professionalism is provided throughout the practice by all members of the team. In particular, Phoebe was recently spayed by Tanis and we were delighted and thrilled by the level of care she received and with the speed of her recovery after surgery. I am particularly grateful to my friend Denis, who advised me to take Phoebe here in the first place. My advice to other pet owners is simple. Take your pets here - you love them and they deserve it!
