ARK Vetcare is now one of South Dublin’s largest animal hospital practice with fourty years practicing in three locations and are OPEN seven days a week.
Formerly Treanor, Glynn & Walsh, this team have excellent knowledge and extensive qualifications. This combined skill set ensures the practice can assess
and treat any case presented to them. They provide inhouse and outsourced learning programmes and are constantly adopting new processes and procedures.
The facilities in all three clinics are state of the art with onsite Surgical Theatres, ECG, Ultrasound, Radiology and Laboratory facilities.
They are an accredited UCD Centre for Veterinary Nurse training and are members of the Irish Kennel Club panel of Veterinary Surgeons.
The latest Hospital in Kill Lane is a customised passive building of 250 sq. metres, purpose built to the highest standard to house the finest medical suite for diagnosis, treatment and aftercare.
The new Cat Boarding suites and rooms at Kilmacud are the ultimate in Cat Care, with veterinary supervision and luxury.

Hi i am very thankfull to arkvet care for my 2 Lovely ladies a great addition to my family the gorgeous Yinn and yann 2 16 year old cats who sadly lost their beloved owner to sickness It was by chance that i seen their post looking For a home for these girls Once i seen it there was no going back i had to home them could not think of them lonely and in a cattery away from all routine so with my mind made up i told my husband we are going to deansgrange and we are homing 2 16 year old sister cats tonight ..... He said ok think he knew i was serious keeping in mind i have 2 cats at home both were ferile and know super affectionate and friendly We also feed 4 wild nutered cats in front of our shop in morning and 4 at back of shop Each party has never met and totally fond of chicken breast All staff members adore these little angels So we went and collected yinn and yann They were scared at first but didnt take long for them to find their way and rule the roost They are super affectionate loving and constantly purring a lovely sound in house they only drink running water from kitchen tap and love when you rub water on their back I instantly thought they must have missed that more than anything else while in cattery Yann sleeps on cushion beside me in kitchen yinn likes back of sofa in sitting room they love their food and jumping onto the back of chair you are sitting on They run to great me in the morning purring wanting to be hugged they have climbed the curtains and charge around giddy when icome home from shop just now yann landed on back of my chair meowing because im on phone and not talking to her My biggest thought while i love them and have totally bonded they are as spritely as kittens and healthy and soo happy to have the chance to have them in my life It would have been senselss to euthanise them so full of life So if you can home an ealderly cat please do as they have routine have been loyal to someone and are lost ... Lifesavers! Kevin and the Kilmacud Crew have undoubtedly won their place for an Animal Care Oscar - in saving my 16 yr. old "mutt", not once but three times this year! I know Digby is with the best team in the most well equipped hospital (pity they don't take humans). I have been "depending" on them now for over 40 years of dogcare and they really deserve any and every accolade in superior customer care - for both two and four "paws"! Read Less

Ark VetCare , Kilmcud My name is Fred and I am 11 years old. I am a Yorkie by breed. I€m fit and healthy for my age and I put it down to the Master who demonstrates at least some sense and brings me to Ark Vet care in Kilmacud. They tell me that I am even older that he (The Master) as I am 77 in human years. I have been coming to this place since I was born. Enough of that though €€.the humans at Ark Vet Care are just excellent and really look after me on my visits. €He€ tells me that they are very savvy people as they send SMS reminders for my meds and oral hygiene. The Ark humans also sent on a birthday letter to me. €He€ tells me that they are always very accommodating with appointments and are also very pleasant (for humans!) . At Kilmacud watch out for the€ Paul€ fellow because he is usually in Dun Laoghaire (and you know what they are like!). I wouldn€t usually tell him but he€s not bad for a human . I think he enjoyed feeling my leg on my visit recently ! I would prefer if Sarah did that! Must go now but remember €Up the ARK at Kilmacud€. Read Less

It can be hard to find a vet that you know you can trust. However, I have put the life of my dog in Paul's hands many times and even when the outcome looked poor, I had nothing but trust in him that he would do the best he possibly could and now here we have Lenny loving life and living it to the full. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ark to anyone looking for a new Veterinary practice; the team at Dun Laoghaire are friendly and helpful and regardless of Lenny's bad health experiences there, he never hesitates to walk through reception and loves receiving lots of attention.
