General Info
The practice itself was started almost 20 years ago on Main St and i took over Christmas 2002. On December 1st 2013 we moved around the corner to our new improved premises in Village Green, in the heart of Tallaght village. We cater to companion animals and try to offer a full service clinic including, consultation, Surgery, Vaccination, dental care , micro-chipping, x-ray, grooming , nutrition, and friendly advise. The only vet is me and I'm qualified 20 years this year from UCD, practiced in Derby and Liverpool for 5 years before returning to Ireland.
The practice manager and main receptionist is Suzanne Clarke whose with the practice 14 years , and we also have Caroline Gibson RVN.

Recently brought Zola (JRT) to Priory Vet as she was losing weight at a frightening rate and after blood tests luckily nothing abnormal to report. Seem she simply needed worming. Thanks to all at the practice she is now regaining weight and returning to her normal weight. In fact I suspect she is in danger of becoming a little fat piggie again (Joking).

Priory vets are honestly angels in my eyes they have helped so much to the point of breaking with our two dogs one of which they put down today and honestly I'm so glad it was them doing it they are very professional very understanding and real animal lovers. Bonnie was always treated to the top standard and Bowie still is. They are not afraid to be honest (which I love) and do help you in any way they can.

Just wanted to say a short thank you to all the staff at Priory Vets. We had to put our beloved Jessie to sleep last week. We had numerous visits with Nikki & Suzanne all through Christmas with our very ill Jessie :( When the time came to say good bye they were utterly professional and showed great empathy and support for me and my family. Thank you again..........

I write this with much disgust and a broken heart on how my dog molly was treated by the staff and so called vet, all they were interested in was money and pumping tablets into my dog, the staff have no manners.. my dog passed away in my arm's Christmas night as she took a massive heart attack and the so called vet never told me she could go at any time.. I would not recommend this vet what so ever as it was the hardest thing ever to lose my dog in my arm's.. she wasn't old either as she was only 6. I'd advise people to make sure you do not bring your animal to this vets. It dosent even deserve 1 star.

Nikki & Suzanne were excellent during the 9 years I had Honey. I had huge support during her diagnosis & subsequent treatment of her diabetes and then her lymphoma diagnosis & referral to UCD veterinary hospital with follow ups at Priory Vets. A great team with great interpersonal support & understanding. I was able to plan, discuss and put Honeys end of life plan in place with Nikki & Suzanne in advance before the time came so that they knew my wishes in advance which caused less stress and upset to me at the time. Thank you both xx

Recently brought Zola (JRT) to Priory Vet as she was losing weight at a frightening rate and after blood tests luckily nothing abnormal to report. Seem she simply needed worming. Thanks to all at the practice she is now regaining weight and returning to her normal weight. In fact I suspect she is in danger of becoming a little fat piggie again (Joking).

Priory vets are honestly angels in my eyes they have helped so much to the point of breaking with our two dogs one of which they put down today and honestly I'm so glad it was them doing it they are very professional very understanding and real animal lovers. I write this with much disgust and a broken heart on how my dog molly was treated by the staff and so called vet, all they were interested in was money and pumping tablets into my dog, the staff have no manners.. my dog passed away in my arm's Christmas night as she took a massive heart attack and the so called vet never told me she could go at any time.. Nikki & Suzanne were excellent during the 9 years I had Honey. I had huge support during her diagnosis & subsequent treatment of her diabetes and then her lymphoma diagnosis & referral to UCD veterinary hospital with follow ups at Priory Vets. A great team with great interpersonal support & understanding. I was able to plan, discuss and put Honeys end of life plan in place with Nikki & Suzanne in advance before the time came so that they knew my wishes in advance which caused less stress and upset to me at the time.
