My experiences with the Animal Hospital have been overwhelmingly positive. The vets here did everything they could to help when my dog was ill and eventually, when it became clear that she would not recover, they assisted compassionately with having her euthanised.From a business perspective, they were also very understanding in relation to expenses for cremation services, extending credit and facilitating payment in installments.I've dealt with other vets in the past and have found that, with some, there are very obvious conflicts of interest (e.g. a vet has told me, incorrectly, in the past that my dog was obese and followed this with the hard-sell for Hills' Science Plan food @ β¬60 a bag; this in my view is akin to a doctor making fraudulent diagnoses in order to sell medicines, a practice that would obviously not be legal). In dealing with the Animal Hospital and the vets working there, I never experienced this, only that the best interests of the animal were of primary concern.I have since picked up another dog (and will most likely continue to do so in the future) and, as long as I live in the greater Dublin area, I would not take him anywhere else.
