Very good practice, staff are very knowledgable and respectful. It can be difficult to find parking though, the vet has asked the traffic warden to allow people to park for 30mins if they leave an ark vet card on the dashboard, but it still doesn't help in finding a spot to park.

I've a 7 year old Yorkie, since as young as 6 months she was a sick dog and has been down through the years but had deteriorated very badly in recent months, I've been to many places and no joy of ever rightly finding what was really wrong with her until 3 months ago I was told about Ark Vets and on my first visit there straight away they picked up on a liver abnormality immediately on the first round of blood tests. And what amazed me most was the genuine care from all vets and staff there. They took time to call me after hours with results and even to enquire how she was doing. Finally we have a diagnosis and medication to help her and already she has improved and has a much better quality of life I cannot speak highly enough of Liz, Aidan and all the team in Ark Vets and am very grateful to them for all they've done.

Having struggled for weeks with my lil cavachon pup (and her ongoing hip issues) to decide on best next steps, I was treated with the upmost care, compassion and the height of professionalism from everyone from nurses to surgeons here. Aidan, Liz, Sheila, and James. Wow! You guys really are fabulous to be around and brilliant to come to when in turmoil. Caomh has been a new pup since she met you guys; if anyone is wondering who to go to, my experience was just second to none. Highly highly highly recommend!

As a 46 year old, who has had dogs since I can remember, I have been to a few veterinary practices in that time. I can say without doubt that Ark Vets is the most professional and caring practice by a country mile that I have come across both in Ireland and the UK. I live in North Mayo and it is a 5 hour round trip to attend appointments but it is worth every minute in the car to get the best treatment for my dog.

Our poor cat "Charlie" got very sick yesterday on the day of my sons wedding... Fair play to LIZ at Ark Vets for getting me an emergency appointment to get Charlie looked at. Great work by Aiden found he had a serious urinery infection and boarded him so we could get to the wedding... All good today, thanks to all at Ark Vet for helping charlie, thanks guys.

Not to mention the lady at reception was really helpful and friendly. Compared to the vet I'm used to it was a completely different experience. I'd recommend ye to anyone !

Having struggled for weeks with my lil cavachon pup (and her ongoing hip issues) to decide on best next steps, I was treated with the upmost care, compassion and the height of professionalism from everyone from nurses to surgeons here. I can say without doubt that Ark Vets is the most professional and caring practice by a country mile that I have come across both in Ireland and the UK.
