General Info
Our services include the treatment of large and small animals. Two of our vets are equine specialists. The services and facilities we provide include: diagnoses and treatments, vaccinations and boosters, X–ray, ultrasound, surgery (including orthopaedic), dermatology, microchipping and general pet care such as dental care, nail clipping and ear cleaning, in-house laboratory for blood testing (haematology and biochemistry), off–site pet burial and cremation services, pet passports, homeopathy and referrals. We also cater for all types of livestock needs and now have a designated equine hospital in Claregalway covering all equine requirements including colic surgery.
Veterinary surgeons include directors Joe O Donnell, Philip Mc Manus, Karl Darcy, Colm Mc Govern and associate vet Rita Corleone

HORRIBLE!! Really awful personal experience. My guinea pig needed his teeth trimmed, which I specifically told the vet it was his back teeth the day before, and not to touch his front teeth as they are naturally long and it needs them to grab and cut up his food. He did it anyway and now and made a bad problem even worse as I now have to handfeed the guinea pig until his front teeth grow back. Not sure about you, but 2 hours a day spent feeding a pig is not what I like to spend my time at. I asked the vet, JOE, did he have any experience with them, YES he says also mentioning he went to a conference on Guinea Pigs teeth and that is where he learned about them. A CONFERENCE FOR GUINEA PIG TEETH???? REALLY??? Not only that, but guinea pigs are notorious for dying due to pain, was there any pain killer given, NO. I have been with an exotic pet before but unfortunately that person is out of work at the moment so I had no choice. The pig is trying to eat but just cannot. Other rodents, YES, they do need their teeth cut, but NOT Guinea pigs. No refund, no apology, just I KNOW MORE THAN YOU, and this is how it is done. NO, sorry it is not, they need long incisors. I do not usually complain or give reviews, but getting this "I am right and you are wrong" attitude made me explode AFTER I explained to him the day before NOT to cut his front teeth as it was the back teeth causing the problem. NO CLUE. Just take the money and run entitled attitude.

I have always taken my pets to Glenina vetininary clinic. The staff are simply amazing from the friendly front desk staff to the vets themselves. The care they have for the animals is first class. The clinic recently was refurbished and extended. It is incredibly modern and clean. The only problem is that parking is limited, you may have to park down the road but I don't mind as the service and care is brilliant.

I had the worst experience with this clinic. Went in to get my dog micro-shipped and get a passport since we will be travelling soon. The initial price was said to be 140 for everything and turned out...
I had the worst experience with this clinic. Went in to get my dog micro-shipped and get a passport since we will be travelling soon. The initial price was said to be 140 for everything and turned out to be 175 at the end. The staff gave our dog a treatment that is meant to be done 1-5 days prior to leaving even though we said we leave in 7 days ( we were not aware the treatment lasted for only 5 days). We were charged then and again in 5 days for the same treatment as it was ''our own fault''. We were also asked to pay for things we didn't even need like temperature check and heart rate check which is just completely ridiculous. The two ladies working at the desk always blame things on each other saying' I wasn't here then' once we confront them with their administrative mistakes. The doctor is so rude that I would never ,ever ,ever return their again, and would recommend a different veterinary clinic for anyone else so ye don't go through the anxiety we went through with this staff. I heard Briarhill veterinary is nice:)

HORRIBLE!! Really awful personal experience. My guinea pig needed his teeth trimmed, which I specifically told the vet it was his back teeth the day before, and not to touch his front teeth as they are naturally long and it needs them to grab and cut up his food. I have always taken my pets to Glenina vetininary clinic. The staff are simply amazing from the friendly front desk staff to the vets themselves. The care they have for the animals is first class.
