Our practice was set up in 2000 by Michael Canty and Hugh O Callaghan. Both Mike and Hugh have a long history of tending to the needs of companion animals in Limerick having been previously partners in Cathedral Veterinary Clinic. Since then the practice has flourished. As well as the veterinary hospital on the Dooradoyle Rd, we also have a branch practice at the Kilmurray roundabout in Castletroy. The practice is presently staffed by 5 veterinary surgeons, including a veterinary ophthalmologist (eye Specialist), 5 qualified veterinary nurses and 2 reception staff. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality healthcare for our patients. With this in mind our new veterinary hospital boasts fully equiped orthopaedic and soft tissue operating theatres, diagnostic imaging facilities (X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy) in house laboratory, day ward, dog ward, cattery and isolation wards.
